Lake & Creek Horse Ranch is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on 350 acres. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife on the ranch, including birds, ducks, deer, turkey, coyotes, wild pigs, armadillos, jackrabbits, doves and variety of other animals.
The ranch includes a dammed section of Onion Creek that has a rock bottom and is deep enough to swim in year round. There's also a 15-17 acre lake for fishing and boating, and numerous trails for riding ATVs, bike riding, or hiking. If you have horses, this is the place you'll want to bring them to for exercise and conditioning! There is a 7 stall horse barn with tack and dry storage, a wash area and a combined paddock out the back door of each stall.
The cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch house with all the amenities you have at home. You only need to pack your overnight bag, we have thought of everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The cottage sleeps 6 people. The master suite has a queen size bed and full bath. The guest bedroom has a full size bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. There is a full bathroom between the guest bedroom and the twin bed room.
The kitchen is fully furnished with coffeemaker, teapot, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, microwave, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, toaster oven, dishwasher, etc.
The living room is spacious with leather furnishings. You can put your feet up and read a good book, watch Direct TV (with movie channels) or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the televisions. There is no telephone or internet connection in the house, we want you to get away from those everyday hassles!
We also have a 1,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned community game room in the barn that the whole family can enjoy. It has a pool table, a ping pong table, a 22 ft shuffleboard, a pinball machine, and an arcade machine, a bar, leather sofa, card table & chairs and a 50 inch HD plasma to watch the all important football games that may come on when you are staying at the ranch!
Their is a fire pit and outdoor table to enjoy in front of the house and the back yard has a fenced area that you can use to keep your dogs if you decide to bring them.

This rental is hard to beat if your looking for an enjoyable Texas Hill Country vacation. It was very clean, in a private setting and well stocked with all the items you usually forget to bring. The property, creek and game room are all described accurately and exceeded our expectations. In my opinion, it is a well managed property that should be considered when planning your next Hill Country get away.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
