The Millington Cottage was beautifully renovated both inside and out in 2012. This 1600 sq. ft. beach front vacation home is located on stilts with covered and open decks both upstairs and downstairs, walk off the deck and you're on the beach. Two patio doors open to the covered porch upstairs and also provide amazing views of the beach from the kitchen, dining & family room. It has three bedrooms and two baths and sleeps 7-11. The master has a king bed & futon with connecting bath w/ shower. The master also offers a great view of the beach. The second bedroom has one full bed and one twin while the third bedroom has a queen bed. Sofa bed in living room will sleep two adults. The second bathroom has a tub and shower. There are flat screen TV's & DVD players as well as ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms. Shuffleboard, charcoal grill, picnic table and porch swing are located under the house for your enjoyment. An outside shower, lounge chairs and umbrellas are available. There is also covered parking for two vehicles.
The village of Rosemary Beach is just a short walk and offers a wide variety of entertainment including shopping, dining, concerts and village green activities.
The new Pier Park is nine miles east with shops, movie theaters, dining and night life.
The Panama City Beach airport is located approximately 20 minutes away.

We stayed at the Millington Cottage in September, 2012. I had never been to the beach in September and it was my best trip ever!! The water was beautiful and the weather was perfect. This house is gorgeous and a perfect home-away-from-home --- it had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is stocked perfectly. The location is just what we were looking for; it only took a few minutes to get to where we needed to go for shopping, restaurants and entertainment, yet we had the privacy that we wanted. We took our bikes and rode a few mornings before hitting the beach which was extremely relaxing!! The views on the bike trail are gorgeous and I was in Seaside before I knew it! We loved sitting on the upper deck in the mornings and at night after dinner. The lower deck is very spacious and we loved the setup with all the seating in both the shade and sun. IT WAS SO PEACEFUL!!!! The owners are very helpful and accommodating We will definitely be going back.Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We were very pleased with Millington Cottage! The house is just beautiful and the pictures online, although very nice, really don't do it justice. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are plenty of nice linens for all the beds. Melinda was very helpful any time we had questions or needed something. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property. The only complaint we had is that the outdoor grill could have been a little nicer. Other than that, the house was absolutely perfect!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The home is lovely...the recently completed remodeling is fantastic! The beach was beautiful, water was perfect! We had a great time and can hardly wait to return. Thanks for offering this beautiful home so we can have this as our vacation destination.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our stay was excellent. The house was perfect, located right on the beach with the most privacy possible for such a popular beach. We biked (could have walked) to Rosemary Beach for coffee each morning and enjoyed sitting on the two decks (one covered, one not) watching the waves break just a few steps away. You can literally step off of the deck onto the beach. The owners were very helpful and provided accurate descriptions of the property. The house is in excellent condition, very clean with everything in working order. The owners said they remodeled the house, both inside and out in, during the last year and it is beautiful (the pictures on the website don't do it justice). A couple favorite restaurants nearby were The Spicy Noodle (1/4 mile behind the house on hwy 98) and the Old Florida Fish House (about 6 miles west on hwy 30a). An excellent supermarket, Winn Dixie, is located just 2 miles east on hwy 98. Buddy's Seafood Market has the best steamed shrimp on the gulf coast located 8 miles east near the junction of hwys 98 & 79. We highly recommend this property and plan on returning next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We are a retired couple that have lived in Missouri all of our lives and love to spend time at our vacation home in Inlet Beach, Florida. We have seven children and lots of grandchildren, all of whom love the beach as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Inlet Beach:
We purchased the property in the seventies and built the house in 1978. During the last two years we have updated and remodeled both inside and outside.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
One of our favorite things to do when spending time at our vacation home is sitting on the covered porch in the morning, drinking coffee and watching the dolphins.
