We can't wait to stay here again. We've rented a lot of places up and down 30 A, and always try to get beach front. This townhouse is very well appointed and the location was exceptional. Very comfortable. 30A and Publix are right near by. We would recommend this property without reservation. Check out Bud and Allys pizza bar - the Farmers Market Pizza is the best. Don't forget to check out the art galleries in Seaside. Our favorites are the Fusion glass store and the amazing acrylic art/sculptures next door. Bring your bikes! Its an easy ride to 30A and you won't have to worry about parking.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The view and beach access from the property could not be better! We were pleased to find that there were beach toys available, but some were broken and it would have been nice if the broken toys and trash had been gone through and disposed of (I did this before I left). The property was clean, but did need minor maintenance. A light bulb was out in the master bath (we had to wait until Monday afternoon to get it replaced as there were no lightbulbs on the property), the door would not lock, there was no grill (even though the instructions from the rental agency stated we were to use the grill on the property and not bring our own), there was not an adequate amount of toliet paper in the until and we ended up having to move the available toliet paper from bathroom to bathroom, there were two boards that had come up on the deck which was dangerous, there were many dogs staying in the other condos (they were pretty clean, but if you want to enjoy a vacation without dogs, I would not stay here) and an insurance agent came out to take pictures explaining that the owner's policy had lapsed and he needed access to the attic. Despite these inconveniences, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beach, local seafood markets, and restaurants.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.
Owner response: Paradise Properties, the property management company for “On the Beach”, is located within 5 minutes of this property; we were therefore able to respond rapidly to any requests. Paradise Properties responded within one hour to the complaint of a burned out light bulb and the light bulb was replaced. The use of the deadbolt and the door not locking was a simple user error. This guest was simply unaware that moving the lever back to its original position would allow the door to lock automatically. In reference to the grill, our rental agreement simply quotes The Florida Fire Code: NFPA 1:10.11.7 as follows: for other than one- and two-family dwellings, no hibachi, gas-fired grill, charcoal grill, or other similar devices used for cooking, heating, or any other purpose, shall be used or kindled on any balcony or under any overhanging portion or within 10 ft. (3 m) of any structure. This does not mean the guest cannot bring their own or that there WILL be a grill on property; simply that one cannot be used on a balcony or UNDER any overhangs on the Gulf side of the properties due to the fire hazard. We are always happy to let a renter know if a grill is available prior to arrival. And now, the owner has agreed to purchase a grill for the use of any future renters. To address the issue of toiletries, once again the rental agreement advises the renter that Paradise Properties provides ONLY a starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The renter is responsible for any toiletries needed beyond what the starter kit provides. Once more, regarding the maintenance issue of the loose boards on the patio, our maintenance responded within one hour of receiving the notice that the boards were loose and the boards were repaired. Due to high humidity and direct sunlight in Florida it is quite normal for wood to warp and bend. As far as dogs in the other properties, although this property is not pet friendly, several of the other units at this location are pet friendly; therefore there will likely be dogs present somewhere around the area. Lastly, the insurance agent’s arrival at the property, these guests simply misunderstood the agent, as this owners’ insurance policy did not lapse, he was renewing his policy with a new company. Paradise Properties and the owner of this property look forward to feedback from all of our renters so that we can continue to maintain this property to its fullest.
