The home was renovated in 2012 including a new kitchen, all new appliances and home furnishings including antique pieces, fully renovated and tiled bathroom, refinished hardwood floors on the main level and painted pine floors on the second level - all carefully chosen to reflect a warm and inviting ambiance. High quality linens, duvets and towels are supplied.
Our two acre property is situated down a long lane from the main road and is surrounded by farm fields and waterfrontage affording complete privacy for our guests. There are waterviews from virtually every window in the home. A canoe and kayak are available for guests to explore the calm waters of the Darnley basin surrounding the cottage.
Located in Anne’s Land on Prince Edward Island’s north shore, the home is a short drive to a secluded oceanfront sandy beach (one of the best on the island), and less than a thirty minute coastal drive to the popular tourist attractions of Cavendish and its National Park with three miles of sand dunes. We are also within a thirty minute drive to four of the island's top golf courses. This is an ideal base for exploring the island and the exceptional attractions the area has to offer. Fresh lobster, mussels and oysters are available from local fishermen at the seafood market/restaurant at the end of our laneway (Ship to Shore - recognized by En Route magazine as one of Canada's top 10 new restaurants in 2010).
Well mannered pets are welcome and will be safe to roam freely.

Beautiful PEI Get Away
Beautiful renovated farmhouse with all the modern conveniences. Very private and perfect if you are travelling with a dog. The beach close by is secluded and great for walking . Perfect spot for relaxing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property.

Spent a week in this wonderfully restored home....like stepping back in time but with today's conveniences.It is very well equipped and will meet all your needs . The privacy is a real plus and yet it is a short drive to golf,groceries,beach...etc. The owner was lovely to deal with from our first contact and very obliging. I would recommend this to anyone looking for peace and quiet....perfect for our family vacation!
