Large home with panoramic view of the lake and beautiful sunsets over the cliffs across the lake. Huge back yard for children, games and camping. Glass enclosed sun porch and a floating dock to dock your boats and fish from in the evening sunset or morning sunrise. Complete with a private boat launch on the property. Large fire pit for bonfires at night. Playa Casa is located at the end of a dead end street, which provides very little traffic and lots of seclusion. Very low boat traffic in the swimming area. This home is perfect for family reunions, graduations or groups getting together to enjoy nature, the sunshine, boating, fishing and swimming. Playa Casa has central air and heat and is COMPLETELY furnished. If it rains, you have a bumper pool table, Wii with 15 games and Wii Fit and a large flat screen TV in the Game Room. Easily accessible from I-77 and I-81.

This property is fantastic. We stayed here with friends while visiting our daughter at Virginia Tech. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were 12 of us in all and we never felt crowded. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers.

VA Tech football weekend in September and it was fabulous! A beautiful, accommodating home for our family gathering of 6 adults and one toddler. What you see in the photos and read in the listing is exactly what you can expect, plus more. Very clean, comfortable and inviting. The owner is exceptional at making you feel welcome and couldn't be easier to work with. Not only would I recommend this listing to family and friends, I would suggest the high end rentals in Charleston SC take note!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Eight of us stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The home was clean and certainly large enough that everybody had adequate space. The home is fully furnished and provides all of the basic cookware and kitchen utensils you could possibly need, which makes packing a lot less trouble. It provided convenient access to the water and the owner was very accomodating in a somewhat last minute arrangement. No problem getting a boat or jet ski in or out as long as you know the way. We would definitely stay at this property again if our travels take us back to Claytor Lake.Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We were very happy, owners were very helpful! Location is perfect for a large or small group, private! Views are wonderful, 20 minute jet ski ride to the Dam and State Park. Beautiful lake to explore. We were to early for the festivities at Peat Creek Marina, durning the summer it sounds like a blast. Only complaint was lack of rope cleats on the dock.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.
