We (family of 6) had a very enjoyable 9 days stay over Christmas in the log cabin. It was very cosy and nicely decorated. Once the fire was going it was quite warm. It is a clean place and has everything you need. But the TV worked for DVDs only, and we also had only very very weak wireless signals if at all. Unfortunately there is no view of the lake from the cabin, but it is located in a quiet and remote neighborhood. For our family reunion purposes it was perfect and I only can imagine how nice it would be in the summer with using the community beach and the deck.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

The cabin is very comfortable, and very well equipped, and the owners are very nice people. We had difficulty finding it in the dark the first night, because the house numbers on the street are not in sequenceRecommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

You don't have to travel far from the city to find a little peace and quiet. Convenient to groceries, coffee, and easy access to anything you may need. The cabin itself is rustic but provides ample comfort. If you are planning watching the Olympics or anything else for that matter, don't! There is no TV. The cabin has Wi-Fi, but don't count on that if you need to work. Mobile phone access is spotty and you need to step out on to the porch to get reception. So, if you are looking to escape and have the time to do so, it's a great place. The community beach is across the lake and within walking distance. There is a dock that you can launch a raft or kayak from and a swimming platform about 20 yards into the lake. The lake itself is beautiful! No combustion engines make it ideal for swimming or fishing. The owner is very nice and attentive to any concerns you may have. There is a tenant in the garage apartment in close proximity to the cabin. He does have a Harley and of course that can be loud if he fires it up or rides in late in the evening. (only happened once at night) He is courteous and respectful of the property, I just think it should be noted, especially if you have small children that are sleeping. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this location and would stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was a good vacation for couples who want a romantic place and also have kids and friends who want to come hang out with them. We were able to capture all three things without leaving out anyone of our friends. Place was clean and the owner very kind and friendly.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
