Located in the quaint town of Mammoth Lakes in the heart of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains, our condo offers year round vacation opportunities to match your many interests. The world renowned Mammoth Mountain ski resort welcomes skiers of all skill levels, from novice to the most advanced.
Set in a beautiful wooded area, our pleasant 1 bedroom, 2 loft, 1+3/4 bath condo, sleeping up to 8, is centrally located on the shuttle route and within walking distance to Von's market, restaurants, shops, park, creek and more.
Two parking spaces located next to the Unit provide easy access as snow permits. To reach the ski slopes, you may take the free shuttle which stops by our condo complex or take the short drive to the nearby Eagle Ski Lodge where you will find easy parking, amenities and lifts. From here you can ski the entire mountain. Or drive or take the bus to Canyon Lodge or the Main Lodge.
There is a variety of activities for all. Spend your winter days in America's premier ski resort; spend your summer days in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. Enjoy evenings in front of our cozy wood-burning stove with the comforts of home, or dine at one of many restaurants, followed, perhaps, by an evening of entertainment or a dip in one of the Jacuzzis. We think it's the best location In town!
Our condo has south and west exposures, capturing winter sunlight through 3 sets of sliding glass doors with balconies. The first level has an open living, dining and kitchen area, plus a 3/4 bath and queen-size sofa bed. Enjoy our wood-burning stove (wood provided), t.v.s and a game-table with games, cards, puzzles and books on hand.
The second level has the master bedroom with king-size bed, a loft/den with queen-size sofa-bed and book case, a full bath with separate dressing area. The third level loft has a king-size bed with pillow-top mattress.
The common area has 2 jacuzzis, sauna, pool (summer), BBQs, showers and bathrooms and a laundry room. Sierra Park Villas is a community of 20 villas, each with 5 condos, giving an open park-like atmosphere.
Alpine skiers of all skill levels are accommodated, as well as cross-country skiers. Summer offers a wide variety of sports for all ages. The community is warm and welcoming. Many events will entice you, including the Jazz Festival; art and craft festivals, 5 and 10 Ks, Blues Festival, fishing in one of the many lakes, water sports at nearby Lake Crowley, hiking trails, geological sites like Devil's Postpile, the earthquake fault and the Minaret overlook. Night skies are brilliant.
The Mammoth airport is located about 10 miles away; the 395 freeway is an easy drive from Los Angeles, Reno and San Diego areas. Drive or fly from Northern or Southern California. Auto travel from Northern California during the winter may require driving south around the the Sierra mountains.
