A must do; Old Fort Niagara-
Standing on a bluff above Lake Ontario not far from Niagara Falls, Old Fort Niagara has dominated the entrance to the Niagara River since 1726. The colorful history of the site began even earlier, and continues to the present day.
Today Old Fort Niagara is a National Historic Landmark and New York State Historic Site that welcomes more than 100,000 visitors every year. It offers a unique collection of original military architecture and fortifications from the 18th Century and the 19th Century, as well as living history events and programs, historical exhibits and collections, archaeology, and education.
The fort has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Niagara area, featuring the oldest buildings in the Great Lakes, spectacular scenery, and exciting special events.
Maid of the Mist:
For more than 150 years, the Niagara Falls’ Maid of the Mist has taken visitors through the foaming waters beneath the falls. The journey begins at the bottom of the Observation Tower, where you’ll be provided with a souvenir rain poncho. The Maid of the Mist will then take you to the base of the American Falls and then to the basin of Horseshoe Falls, through the crashing waters and massive rock formations. This half-hour tour allows you to experience first-hand the power and intensity of the falls.

We loved every last minute. Thanks so much for such an amazing setting. It was so nice to come back from such a long day and feel right at home. Hope to make it back next year and if we do I know exactly where we are staying. Thanks for being so easy to talk to and making our stay even more memorable. Thanks again for the wine.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a great place to stay. There were 7 of us 5 of them kids, ages 17,15,12 10 and 9. They were all very excited about staying at the manor. We had enough room to hang out together when we wanted and enough room to spread out when needed. The manor is very clean and beautiful. We are used to having to get 2 hotel rooms usually when we travel. What. Great way to stay all together for the same price. We definitely enjoyed the hammock. The windows are also great. We really did not know how spacious this was going to be. We will definitely suggest the Manor to our friends and family. Thank you Jo Ann for everything.Did you find this review helpful? The "Manor" as we call it was one of the highlights of our stay. Not only was it open, airy and comfortable but it allowed my family to spend such valuable time together that will be remembered for ever. What great views, comfortable beds and the bond fire was the show stealer. We saw so many different types of birds, and the deer eating off the apple trees in the morning was one of the highlights of the trip. We usually stay in hotels, but never again, we saved tons of money on meals, and it was even better. Thank you Manor, your a big part of our memories,,,Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My family and I took a trip up to Niagara Falls for the first time. The falls were great, but Vinny and Jo were amazing. What an awesome experience! It all starts with Jo Anne and her generosity! She met us there with a bottle of wine and some of her homemade cupcakes! The home is Incredibly large, recently updated and filled with modern ammenities. The view is spectacular! They also offer an extra suite if you have more than 10 people so its extra comfortable. We will definitely be going back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

you will have all of the comforts of home while on vacation.
Vacations are made for family to relax and form memories to last a lifetime. Please enjoy the Manor, and most importantly enjoy the memories with your family and friends.
