  We stayed at Oceanview Villa for two months and really felt at home. Our apartment was well appointed, comfortable and spacious. There was lots of hot water and all the appliances worked. Screened windows on all four sides make for plenty of light and fresh ocean air without flies or mosquitoes. Beds, pillows and chairs are very comfortable. Internet service was reliable. We made use of the movie channels on TV. If you want a quiet neighbourhood close to a beautiful beach yet not far from the city, one where you can feel completely safe, then Oceanview Villa is perfect. It's across from the local pagoda and in the company of other handsome villas. It's also surrounded by small plots of land worked diligently by the local people. They're too small to be called truck gardens, but motorbike gardens would do. They provided us with a lot of interest. A trip between Oceanview Villa and downtown takes 10-15 minutes. If you have the skill and courage to rent a motorbike, it's an easy ride. A taxi will set you back $6-$12 round trip depending on traffic, destination and scheduled bridge closures! Cameron, Tam and family happened to be there while we were. They were very obliging and helpful hosts and excellent company. We had quite a bit of fun and good conversation with them. It took a little time at the beginning of our stay to sort out what services Lan was to provide and what was to be the additional cost of our meals. That done, we found Lan to be a real gem and housekeeper extraordinare. Lan has a sunny disposition, a good sense of humour, works hard and efficiently and is an outstanding cook. She cleaned and tidied our apartment; called numerous cabs for us, negotiating price when we needed it; did our laundry at least twice a week; cooked wonderful meals five evenings a week; twice purged our apartment of ants (remember the motorbike gardens?); and saved a number of articles of clothing and luggage that had picked up moisture and, unbeknown to us, were starting to mould. Though her English is somewhat limited, we were able to communicate our needs without much trouble. You will want either to take her home with you or stay forever!

  The reviews and description by the owners are all true. My wife and I rented the 3rd floor apt and it had great views from both of the balconies. the amenities, internet and satellite t.v. were all great. Renting a scooter was very easy with no hassle. We did arrive during Vietnamese New Year and alot of the local businesses were closed but if you have an adventurous spirit and scooter to get you around...we found everything we needed. The beach is flat and is great if you love to run and the surf is great if you like to boogie board. If you are a golfer, there is a Greg Norman and Colin Montgomerie designed courses approx 20 min down the beach road (went by scooter). The beach road is also quite safe as the local traffic tends to drive at moderate to slow speeds. We even ventured as far as Hoi An by scooter and drove home late in the evening (60 km round trip). If you are a cyclist, runner, swimmer (Temple Denang has a 25m pool) you will love this place! I just wish I had a bike. But I am sure that if you request this early enough from the owners, they will be able to help you out. this was our first experience in Vietnam and we fell in love with the country. Hope to be back soon.

  Together with my girlfriend I had the pleasure to spend 1 month in one of the Ocean Villas and I strongly recommend them to anyone who is going to travel to Da Nang and spend some time there. Of course there is no lack of 4 or 5 star hotels in the city, but Cameron´s Ocean Villa apartments just make you feel being at home away from home. The apartments are vey spacious, big living room with complete state-of-the-art kitchen, spacious and very luxurious bathroom with maybe the biggest shower cabins I ever had on my travels, a seperate bedroom with seperate air con, two balconies, one with outstanding seaview, the other one facing downtown, broadband wifi Internet in all rooms, huge flatscreen TV with around 100 channels, 24 hours security and a maid available from Mon to Sat, free laundry unlimited, free housekeeping on a daily basis if you wish, it is really one of the few places where there´s nothing one would miss. No need to spend big money for a small standard room in one of the expensive 5-star-resorts if you can stay at the Ocean Villas and enjoy all the services described above. This place is really worth every penny you spent. Hope to be back there soon and spend another great vacation. Thorsten + Yessica from Germany / Venezuela

  My partner and I stayed here for a week, and had probably our best week in Vietnam, due in major part to our fabulous accommodation at the villa. We felt instantly welcomed by the lovely housekeeper, and she continually endeared herself to us with her sweet personality and helpfulness in any matter or suggestion we required. All the amenities were luxurious: the bed was the most comfortable bed in all of Vietnam, the bathroom was equivalent to a 4-star hotel with a giant glass shower, and the kitchen was sizeable and was well equipped for any of the cooking we did. Having the climate controlled A/C is commonplace throughout Vietnam, but this villa had 2, which was really nice for the hot nights. The great Wifi connection and satellite TV provided nice evening entertainment. The proximity to the beach was as the listing shows, and it feels like the backyard is the beach. The beach is also one of the nicest beaches in a country that boasts some amazing beaches already. I could not recommend this property enough for anyone in the Da Nang region. It is a great value for everything provided.

  Oceanview Villa (not to be confused with "Ocean Villas") was a lovely place to stay (we lived there for several months). It comes complete with a daily housekeeper (I have to confess to being a one off I'm sure because I chose to do my own cleaning as it made me feel like it was my home) but just having her there was a great bonus because if I wanted anything from the Market or Pharmacy off she would go on her bike for me, nothing was too much trouble. Washing was returned (ironed ) daily as well ! There are 3 apartments and we chose the ground floor, my friend lived in the middle one which had a beautiful view as did the top floor. All apartments are furnished to a very high standard and I wish I could have taken the bed with me ! If ever there was a problem (very few ) one word to the Housekeeper who called the owner and job sorted within hours if not sooner ! We would of remained there for the duration of our stay in Vietnam but it was just a bit too far away from my Husband's place of work. I always felt very safe if I was on my own as there was a Security Guard on site all night. Just a few minutes walk to the Beach and getting a takeaway delivered from Danang was never a problem. If you are looking for somewhere that is not a Hotel or a House then Oceanview Villa would be a perfect choice. One important thing I have to mention is that when you rent in Danang you normally get tied into a year (or at best) a 6 month contract but here you can stay a week, month or as long as you want !

  My husband and I stayed in the top floor villa of this property for the first week of December, 2012 and enjoyed it thoroughly. The villa itself is quite modern and luxurious, yet it offers a rather rural sort of experience in that it is surrounded by small subsistence gardens tended by locals. If you want to go to the beach, a five minute walk will find you standing on beautiful China beach, and good food and a cold beer awaits at an outdoor restaurant called "The Temple." The villa has a basic kitchen, and we elected to prepare almost all of our meals there. The housekeeper "Lan" is a lovely person, and she appeared every morning with fresh, warm French baguettes, or fresh greens from the gardens below. One afternoon she prepared a greens and shrimp soup for us and another day joined us on a short trip up to the enormous statue (Guanyin) and temple which overlook the South China Sea at Danang. With Lan's help, we took a taxi into the city for groceries (20 min.) and we had access to a cell phone and a laptop with free wifi, cable TV and a panorama view (though partially obstructed) of the beach. Lan even washed all of our laundry! We had been traveling in Southeast Asia for about five weeks when we stayed in the villa, and it made an abolutely perfect place to relax and recoup. We highly recommend this place for its atmosphere, value, and solicitous staff.
