  This was a very pleasant and comfortable unit where we spent the month of April. It was very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the free long distance and modern kitchen appliances. The large deck has loads of comfy seating. The owners are great to work with, very prompt with replies and anxious to make sure you have a great visit. We would highly recommend this villa.

  We found everything to be exactly as advertised with no unpleasant surprises. Victoria was most accommodating in arranging for a tradesman to attend to a minor problem in one of the bathrooms. We had some very pleasant conversations during which I outlined a couple of things we felt could be improved upon, ie, the sofas were very low and hard to get up from; the bathrooms had a safety issue with no grab bars for senior citizens. She agreed that there was room for improvement and that they intended to address these issues in the near future. Not being golfers or active in any other sports, we mainly enjoyed the company of family and friends and dining out at one of the many and varied restaurants in the area. Being a sufferer of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), I found the "short walk to the beach" to be beyond my capabilities. Even driving down presented a problem as one is required to make an uphill trek on the boardwalk and then further walk to the beach. There was no sitting area provided at the boardwalk end. Weather is always a factor, and unfortunately, we did not have the best, but overall, we enjoyed ourselves. One other criticism would have to be our aggravation at trying to locate stores, shopping centres etc. They are well hidden from local roads and shrouded with shrubbery and the ever-present Spanish Moss-draped trees. Very attractive but confusing for first-time visitors.

One item that I do want to point out from your review is that unfortunately, our villa is Not "Pet Friendly" due to sanitary/allergy reasons.   We enjoyed our stay in a very well equipped, decorated and very clean unit. The location and proximity to everything including the beach were also great....A great spot for a holiday. The owners were very helpful answering questions before we arrived.

  The villa was terrific. It had everything we need for a comfortable relaxing vacation. The beach was close enough to walk to and the area contained everything to make our stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this villa and hopefully we will be able to stay there again next year.

  We really enjoyed this unit. The one-floor layout was nice, especially having two young children. The property had many upgrades and was nicely decorated. The kitchen also included everything we needed in regards to pots, pans, tupperware containers, etc. It was extremely close to the beach with only a 3 minute walk. It was also in very close proximity to the complex pool. I would definitely recommend this unit to others. I only wish it had three bedrooms so we could come back with more people:) (One note of concern...the floors were not swept completely when we arrived. The floor area around the fire place was dirty and there was a good amount of sand on the floor in front of the washer/dryer. The cleaning people must have missed those spots b/c the rest of the unit was very clean.)

We are also glad to hear that you were happy with the proximity of the beach and pool to our unit, I know this was a concern that you had. We are as disappointed as you are, that some of the floors were not cleaned well by our cleaning staff. Thank you for letting us know, we have spoken to them and they've corrected the situation. In the future, please let us know right away if there are any problems with the unit. We would've been very happy to provide a prompt re-clean. We don't want our guest to do anything but unpack and enjoy when they arrive! Unfortunately, we can't really do anything about it not being a 3 bedroom unit! We do understand that you probably would've been more comfortable in a three bedroom with the last minute addition of another guest. Overall, it sounds like everyone enjoyed their stay and hopefully a great time was had by all!

  My family and I had a great time in this afforable, clean condo. It's a short walk to pool & beach. I would recommend it to anyone. Hassle free vacation.

  I would like to personally thank the owners of this villa for making our stay one of the nicest vacations we have ever enjoyed. The Villa was nicely appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our family of five. The furnishings were relaxed and comfortable. We felt at home from the moment that we got there. The deck was a wonderful place to have both our morning coffee and lunch in the afternoon. First floor living and close parking made loading and unloading luggage and groceries easy.It was a short walk to both the beach and the pool. We will be coming back!

  Our family of 5 has vacationed many years in Hilton Head. We love the location of Beachwalk for many reasons; a short walk or bike ride to the beach, beautiful biking trails and close to everything on the island. When we arrived, everyone noted how clean the unit smelled, and how beautifully decorated. The master bedroom reminds me of a bed and breakfast, large and quaintly decorated. We cooked several meals while there, and found the kitchen very well stocked. Everyone was sad to leave but commented that we would definitely want to rent this unit again. The owners have been a pleasure to deal with, as well.

  We found this home to be fabulous. WeI had no problems at all during our week's stay. It was newly remodelled and everything was in great working order. The location was ideal for tennis and the beach. The next time we go to Hilton Head we will surely see if this home is available.
