A quiet Adirondack Lakefront makes for a perfect family getaway. Located on Echo Lake in Warrensburg just 3 miles off of Interstate I-87. Enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing, or a picnic from the 40' x 46' private dock on a quiet non-motorized lake. Entertain, BBQ or just relax on the large deck overlooking wooded back yard leading down to the lake. The evenings provide lasting memories eating s'mores and telling ghost stories around the campfire or spotting the occansional deer running across our back yard. Our convenient location is only a 3 mile drive to Cronin's Golf Course, a 5 mile drive to Lake George Village , ski 11 miles away at Gore Mt. or take a scenic off season chair lift ride. Additionally, the Saratoga Race Track and Casino are only a 30 minute drive.
Echo Lake is a quiet, nonmotorized lake. It provides for excellent fishing year round, however we encourage catch and release to help maintain the fish population. The fish species include; Small and Largemouth Bass, Pickerel, Yellow Perch, Bullhead, Carp and Sunfish. Additionally, you are only steps away from the Warrensburg Town Park which includes a playground, volleyball court and seasonal beach with a lifeguard on duty 7 days a week.
As we are located at the 'Gateway to the Adirondacks' there are multiple local attractions and four season activites to enjoy for both adults and children alike.
Stay with us at a fraction of the cost of nearby Lake George yet enjoy all the activities; boat rentals, para-sailing, dinner cruises, charter fishing, diving, outlet shopping, arcades or visit the historic Fort William Henry.
Some of our favorite local treasures are: Hiking Prospect Mt., Hadley Fire Tower Mt., NYDEC Pack forest and the little known Bear Slides in Lake Luzerne. Also ride the nearby Adirondack Scenic Railroad or take the children to The Up Yonder Farm in Bolton Landing. Try nearby fly fishing in the pristine upper Hudson River right next to the Warren County Fish Hatchery, only a short 1 mile away.

Great rental for skiing at Gore Mountain
Great rental for skiing at Gore Mountain

My family had a wonderful stay during a ski trip Christmas week at the Echo Lake Lodge. When 30 inches of snow fell, it was like a winter wonderland. I definitely recommend this house if you are considering skiing Gore Mountain. It's close enough but much less expensive that rentals in the North Creek area. It took us about a 1/2 hour to get to Gore Mountain for two days of skiing and one day we drove 1 1/2 hours up to Lake Placid to ski White Face. The home was roomy and comfortable with lots of great Adirondack touches. The open floor plan upstairs is wonderful and the kitchen had all the supplies and necessities to make our stay enjoyable. The beds and linens were all great. Jackie and Chuck, the owners, are very friendly and helpful and want to make sure that you enjoy your stay. We did have a problem when the boiler broke on our last day and we had no heat or hot water. The owners quickly responded and came right out to assess the problem. Unfortunately, they were not able to get the boiler repaired that day, so we had to spend the night with no heat and no hot water. But the home does have two wood burning stoves, one upstairs and one downstairs,. Between the two stoves, we were really not cold at all, even with the temperatures in the low teens. The owners were very apologetic and offered us a one night comp for the inconvenience which was very generous of them.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My friends and I had a lovely time staying at this home. It was a beautiful home that offered everything that we would possibly need. The rooms were well put together and very comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and entertaining our friends. Echo Lake was so tranquil and private. We had a lovely time on the dock and using the row boats. We had so much fun on the lake and swimming. We really enjoyed our time and felt relaxed the entire time. It really was a home away from home. We definitely will be back again!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

The description is very accurate, and the property was clean and very convenient to all the attractions in the area. The home had all we needed throughout the week to make all meals, and had all the comforts from home already there. There were plenty of towels and blankets, all 8 of us stayed very comfortable. The owners were helpful and answered our questions immediately. We were still able to enjoy our stay even on the rainy days due to all the games and movies provided. We also spent one rainy day at the huge indoor water park that is located about 15 minutes away.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This vacation house was nice and large for our family get together. As Grandma and Grandpa we hosted our 3 sons and their families. We had about 10 people there and used all 4 bedrooms and both bathrooms. We enjoyed the nearby beach with lifeguard(we had 2 four year olds and 2 two year olds), My adult children loved the short ride to Lake George and the outlet malls. The fishing in Echo Lake was good and my husband especially enjoyed the canoe and rowboat. There was an abundance of floatation devices at the house. The owners were great at answering questions and suggesting the best grocery stores and restaurants to try out. The house was clean and well-maintained, I would recomment thisplace to others that want a quiet place to stay yet close to Lake George. It was a quiet residential area and we slept great. Unfortunately we had 2 cold and rainy days so we went shopping and the kids enjoyed the large screen TV. We hope to return again vacation there.Did you find this review helpful?
