Miromar provides an outstanding 10,000 sq. foot infinity pool that is surrounded by views of the lake, sandy beaches, an open air dining pavilion with poolside service and hot tub. This is but a 2 minute walk along the beach from our condo. But our condo also has our own private pool overlooking the lake that is beautiful in its own right. It is quieter and you still have outstanding views. You choose!
Our Penthouse unit is quite spacious with views from both the front and back lanais of two sparkling lakes. The entire condo has been professionally decorated in a Tommy Bahama theme. Three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and a den with a pull out couch and a desk for those people who still have to be connected to the outside world. The kitchen is completely outfitted with all needed to inspire great cooks Open concept for the kitchen, living room and dining room. The dining room seats 6 people and the kitchen has 3 bar stools. The living room will seat 6 people, more if you use the foot rest and the 3 bar stools. The outside Lanai comes with two large chairs and foot rest, along with a couch. All is finished off with luxurious cushions for comfort. There is also a bistro table and chairs for dining. This lanai is over 400 sq feet overlooking the lake for maximum outdoor enjoyment. We also have a negotiable boat dock available.
Miromar is 10 minutes from the South West Airport. We have a large mall across the street, with shopping, restaurants, entertainment and movie theatres. The best outlet mall in Southwest Florida is a 5 minute drive. Fort Myers Beach, Lovers Key Beach and Barefoot beach are all approximately 20 minutes away. Naples and Sanibel Island are 30 minutes away. Miami is 2 hours drive. Disney in Orlando is a 3 hour drive. And you can also take a 3 hour boat ride to Key west just by driving your car for 20 minutes to catch it!
And did I mention we are only 5 minutes away from the Boston Red Sox spring training stadium? Some of these players stay in our complex during March and April.
There are many affordable Championship and Executive golf courses nearby. There are 7 Tennis Har-tru courts one of which is a exhibition court. Full time Tennis Pro is on staff. There is a personal trainer available and wonderful massages at the spa.

My husband and I have stayed at this penthouse haven at least half a dozen times over the past 2 years, and just this January I celebrated a milestone birthday with 4 girlfriends here. All I can say is, it's never long enough to absorb all that the resort-like community offers, along with the endless adventures that can be explored all around the vicinity. Last fall, we drove for a single night stay to Fort Lauderdale and back and it was simple, fantastic and so entertaining. The photos featured do not do the actual condo or the resort, justice. The real-life experience of it all is far more spectacular! It is all much grander, more breathtaking than captured here. The condominium itself is expansive with high ceilings and ample room for all guests to have complete privacy or gathering space. The decor and amenities are top-notch and yet comfortable without being fussy or high maintenance. It is all still fresh and new so no problems with cleanliness, upkeep, excessive wear and tear, or maintenance. The owners are well-informed and experienced regarding the resort and nearby areas. They are very easy to approach, accommodating within reason and are themselves very active and involved so have much insight to offer regarding getting the most out of your particular trip. The best part about this particular unit is that it is located just above its own pool and lounge area with a hot tub, BBQ and beach front, so if you don't want to join the main crowd at the central infinity pool (which is spectacular by the way), you can have coffee and read a book out by the beachfront dock area in more private settings and indulge in a late night hot tub or swim in relative quiet and ease. If you forget something in the unit, it's rather convenient to go back and forth as well. As for things to do nearby, you can run yourself ragged trying to keep up with all of the shopping (buy, buy, buy), food (eat, eat, eat) and entertaining (dance, drink, listen, lounge) that is at your doorstep. It's rather a central artery to many other hot spots in Florida so a mere 30 minutes, or an hour here and there and you have a whole different part of Florida to explore. I suggest you take the time to map out anything you want to explore if you are aiming for a full and diverse holiday. Otherwise, sit back, sip a cocktail or two, sun, swim, sail, or stroll at your leisure and truly feel like a pampered celebrity in this posh and distinguished community. You won't regret it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Miromar Lakes:
This location is almost as far south as you can get in the United States. Being from Canada with its cold winters we wanted a place that was almost guaranteed warm weather year round.It is also very tropical here with all amenities close by. And after doing our research in this area we truly feel Miromar is the best of the best of places to be.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
At Miromar you can do it all or nothing at all. If you choose to do nothing at all, the beauty and serenity of the place fills your soul. If you want activity, it is all a few footsteps away. What fills up our typical day is having coffee and fruit in our lanai while reading the paper. We then move to the tennis courts or the gym to do our 1 1/2 hours of exercise. From there we have breakfast and then head down to our pool for some chill out time. We then will either go shopping or maybe rent a kayak and visit the many waterways of Estero.or even play some golf. After that we will usually eat out and find some entertainment to listen too. There are many one man bands and also tribute bands around for easy listening and maybe a dance or two. Also with the Keys only a boat ride away and Miami or Fort Lauderdale a drive away we take either day trips or overnight trips to see how the other half live.
