This rental is a true home away from home. Close to a convenience store, short walk to the beach and a to the views of the Bay in the other direction. The owners provide EVERYthing you need from bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, to even the chain to tie our your four legged family pet. This was a true serene and quiet sanctuary in a great quiet neighbor that provided us with alot of precious family memories. The communication between the owners was excellant and their home was just if not better than their listings boasts of. Their bed were wonderful...a big plus when you try and find the comforts away from home at a great price. Your family won't be sorry to rent from this beach owner and your stay and memories will last you a lifetime in the heart of Holgate. renters the summer of 2009 and 2010

Excellent Beach Home - Dog Friendly!

We have been going to Holgate for over 7 years and we have we have rented this house for past 2 years. This home is so convenient, cozy, and clean and the owners are truly amazing and friendly. The kitchen is bright, and the bedrooms are a nice size and the living room has a big flat screen TV. The best feature of the house is the outdoor space. It is huge, which works well for us since we have a big family and a yellow lab. We loved having breakfast on the upstairs deck and when you need to escape the sun you can sit under the huge tree with plenty of shade. It is so nice that you don’t have to pack all the beach chairs and bikes because the garage is fully stocked and they are in great condition. Holgate is such a great community with friendly neighbors and you are only a block from the beach or the bay which you can’t help watching the sun set ever night! We are more than happy to recommend this home, we keep going back!

We had a truly wonderful stay in this cozy, comfortable, and convenient home. The bedrooms are a generous size and pleasantly breezy. The new kitchen is bright and well-appointed, and the 2nd refrigerator in the garage is very handy for stocking up on extra beverages and frozen treats. The real treasure of the house is the ample outdoor space, which the kids had a great time exploring. We loved having breakfast on the upstairs deck and having our grilled dinner under the beautiful backyard shade tree just steps from the kitchen door. It was a relief not to have to pack extra beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc.; all were provided in very good condition. The ocean and bay beaches were lovely and very close, making it quite easy and convenient to flit back and forth to the house for forgotten sunblock, more beverages, or a picnic lunch. The neighbors on all sides were friendly and helpful, easily the nicest we’ve met during our stays in many LBI towns. Yep, we’re happy to recommend this house and this community.

Our family enjoyed our stay in Holgate. The house was clean and very well equipped. Great to have the bikes and beach chairs! Very close to ocean and bay. The kids loved the basketball courts nearby. This was our first time staying in Holgate. What a nice part of LBI. So quiet and a great house and town for the kids. It was so great to be close to the bay beach and playground. The house was great. all the extras, like bikes, chairs, beach toys, etc. really made it an easy vacation when traveling with two babies and a dog. Would definately rent here again. House has everything you need for a great NJ Shore vacation. Thanks for making my little ones first real vacation memorable!

We rented this "home" for 6 weeks last summer and had an incredible time. Location is perfect with great beaches and extremely friendly, family oriented neighborhood. Owner are fantastic!! You can't go wrong with this rental.

This was our second year of renting this house. Great, quiet location...great for walking a pet that is allowed in this house. Eight minutes or less to the center of Beach Haven. Three minute walk to the ocean's edge. Great surf fishing beach during off hours. Owner is great to deal with!!! Andrew....Trenton, NJ

What a fantastic vacation spot. The house was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked and plenty of room for everyone. The yard and deck are gorgeous. WOW! Great LBI style home, comfortable, casual, well stocked. Primo back yard and excellent deck for sunning and relaxing. Quiet end of LBI yet close enough to Beach Haven to get all your needed supplies. And pet friendly. Craig and Diana were so easy to work with.

We have been vacationing on LBI for over 25 years. Holgate and Caroline Avenue is one of our favorite places to visit and leave our cares behind. This clean and comfortable oasis is inviting and has all the amenities you might need. There is plenty of room for the whole family to relax and have fun. If that's not enough to peak your interest, let us tell you that you only need to walk just a few houses to the beach to enjoy a wonderful sunrise. A short stroll to the bay and you can witness breathtaking sunsets. The owners are real nice people and very easy to work with, not to mention also pet friendly. You will never regret spending your next holiday in this lovely home and will most likely be planning your next stay before the end of your vacation.

Highly recommended (though we do this reluctantly - we want to make sure there's room for US next year)! This is such a wonderful part of the island - lots of families, very quiet - there were days when we practically had the beach to ourselves! Yet it's just a short bike ride into Beach Haven. The home was lovely and clean and comfortable - and the roofdeck is fantastic for meals and just hanging out. Just a few steps to the beach for morning walks or fishing...or a few to the bay for beautiful sunsets. The owner, Craig, is a great guy who makes sure that the house is well-stocked with anything you might need for the kitchen or playing on the beach. We'll be returning next year, for sure...

This house is a sentimental favorite of mine...a cosy place on a nice, quiet street that my family and I have been visiting for about three years now. The house is very comfortable and the outdoor common areas are wonderful. My large family has enjoyed many a gathering with friends and relatives here--birthday parties, festive meals, etc. In our family the kids call it 'the bridge house,' after the second-floor walkway that connects the back bedroom with the deck. This is one of the very few completely trouble-free rentals I've had on LBI, due to the care the owners take to make sure you're happy. When I am down for the day I always drive by to see how the place is doing.

WOW! What a great place; clean and comfortable! The perfect house for a vacation- the 'chef's' in our family enjoyed the furnished kitchen and the whole gang ate well on the deck watching the sunset every night. This end of LBI is quiet and beautiful and the beach, oh, the beach...
