We stayed at this beautiful home for a girls weekend. We were looking for a location that was close to the beach, but not too far from Charleston. It was the perfect place. Sadly, we had cold, rainy weather...but still spent some time outside in the hot tub. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. They have everything you could need! The owners were WONDERFUL to work with...the best service I have ever had from a VRBO rental. I would highly recommend renting this great house!

This property is exactly as described by the owners and reviews from prior renters! We usually eat out for every meal when on vacation, but my family loved the property so much, we cut back on our trips out to eat so we could stay at "home" to better enjoy this awesome property. If you are fortunate enough to stay here, read the 2-page entry my daughter wrote in the Guest Book for April 7-10........We hope and pray this property is available when we return next year.

Members of my family continue to live in Mt. Pleasant and had lived on IOP for several years, so my perspective on the home and area holds some weight. Any home located on IOP is generally convenient in location and this home is no exception. The property has excellent construction and amenities throughout, with plenty of space and a wonderful hot tub and pool that in my personal opinion makes the 3 block walk to the beach a non-starter, as the landscaping and furniture of the 4 porches make it irrational to want to leave. The entire property is open, airy, and tier-one quality with a responsive owner for any potential issues.

This has been the best vacation rental ever. It has felt just like home. Our black lab, Layla was so happy as well as ourselves along with our family. This home is exceptional, immaculate and very well put together. My husband and I enjoy cooking and let me tell you from our delicious steaks on the grill to the steamed oysters and low country boil not too mention our breakfast feasts we loved the kitchen and all the fabulous appliances. Then from the wonderful spa baths to the hot tub....WOW!! What a retreat. I wish it wasn't rented for the week we will be here this summer. We would snatch it up!! But you can bet we will make this our first choice next year. By renting this home you will not be disappointed, best value on IOP!! Oh yeah, the sleep number beds...outrageous! The owners Wayne and Rachelle are such fine folks and so happy to have met them and found this jewel. Thank you both for sharing this oasis with us.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was immaculate! Every detail was prefect , really liked the well equipped kitchen which is seldom found in rentals. As it was off season we used the hot tub but not the pool. Plenty of decks and porches. Comfortable beds and great pillows, I brought my own but liked the ones there better. I've ordered some for home. Dogs liked the fenced back yard and only two blocks from the beach. All in all just a wonderful home. The owner was very easy to work with as well.

Our family enjoyed the luxury and space of this home. I say home because it felt that way, instead of staying in a house. The layout is spacious but feels cozy. The spa like bathrooms and well equipped kitchen were so enjoyable. I am considering this for a girls getaway as well as a place to take out of town guests.

This was our first trip to Charleston and staying on the Isle of Palm. The house was everything and more the pictures just do not do it justice. The property was manicured so nicely and our stay was very comfortable and our dog loved the back yard and having the freedom to explore on the beach. You could not ask for anyone nicer than Rachelle (home owner). The house was spectacular the restaurants on the island were so delicious and the people we were so hospitable. We plan to return at least two more time next year to this same property and would recommend this property/area to anyone traveling to the Charleston area. It was a vacation to remember and so special for 20th wedding anniversary.

We've been visiting the Isle of Palms for the past seven or eight years now and have stayed at various homes on the island, mostly in the Wild Dunes neighborhood. This time we decided to venture out a bit and boy are we ever glad that we did! Even as we drove up to the house, we knew that we were in for a grand stay. One of the main reasons we enjoyed the Wild Dunes resort was it's walkable paths, etc. Rest assured that the neighborhood around this home provides all of those wonderful walking opportunities we thought we'd given up. Lots of quiet, shaded streets to meander around on. Such a joy. And then there is the house itself: absolutely beautiful! A VERY spacious three-bedroom home that is meticulously cleaned and maintained. And when we had a couple of questions about lights, remotes, etc., the home owner was just an email or phone call away--always ready to help us with our needs. Plus, one of the owners ensured the pool was clean and ready for us every couple of days. How's that for service?! About the house itself: wonderful kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living room. More than enough space for the three of us, of course, but quite likely to be plenty for seven or eight. Appliances are modern and top of the line, furnishings were clean and sturdy (not garage sale castoffs like we've experienced in other places...) Of course there are nice televisions around and wireless Internet access that we all expect these days. Yes we spent lots of time outdoors by the pool in the very nice and clean poolside furnishings. We also spent some time in the screened in porch too, when the mosquitoes got hungry. Our Australian Shepard/Golden Retriever mix loved the spacious, fenced-in yard to play in. Such a pleasure for us all, really, for her to be able to relax in some of her own spaces and still feel like we're at home. We could easily tell that she enjoyed the house just as much as we did.... Yes, there is no denying it, this is our new home away from home. And we highly recommend you give this wonderful home a try the next time you are planning a visit to the beautiful Isle of Palms. You'll be so glad you did. And please bring your pups too--they are quite welcome and will make your vacation even more enjoyable.

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for our family and the location was so convenient to everything. While there, we were in need of nothing as the homeowners have it furnished completely and thought of everything. Our favorite spot was the spa/hot tub. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much to the homeowners for their hospitality and kindness during our stay. This place, by far, has been the best place we have rented. THANK YOU!!!!

Loved this house! First of all the Internet was fantastic with all our phones and computers. The house was fantastic. The main level was very spacious. Our 16 month old grandson loved walking thru the huge kitchen, dining room and living room. Deck off living room was great. No splinters from the deck wood and a gate to steps. Screened porch was great for morning coffe and reading. Pool was crystal clear. Lots of chairs and lounge chairs, along with tables. Inside of the house, master bedroom and bathroom were huge. Steam shower. Walk in closet was also very large. There were tons of storage drawers throughout the house. Short walk to beach was easier with the cart the owners provided at the house. The owners were always available to answer our questions. Love cooking on the gas and jenn aire stove. Nice neighborhood. This was one of the best houses I've ever rented! Solid construction. Rachelle and Wayne are the greatest! Hope to rent this house again in the future. The yard was great for our grand dog.

First off, let me say that working with the owners was a pleasure. They answered all of our questions prior to arrival and were always available while we were there to further address any needs or problems. Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the house and all of the amenities that it had to offer - the sleep number beds, the well appointed kitchen, the back decks and patio, and of course the saline pool and hot tub (just to name a few). The fenced in back yard offered plenty of room for our dog and kids to run and play. Beach access was only a couple of blocks away and the owners provided a pull behind wagon to haul all of our beach supplies with us. The home itself is lovely, decorated in true beach style which provides a feeling of comfort and connection to the ocean. We liked that fact that the house is close to one of our local favorites, Morgan Creek Grill. The Isle of Palms provides many other local restaurant options as well as easy access to downtown Charleston and all that it has to offer. Having stayed in a few other rental properties on the Isle of Palms, I can honestly say that this is by far one of the most enjoyable stays that my family has experienced so far. The owners have provided a wonderful place in which you can play, relax, cook, sleep...to vacate. All within a stone's throw of one of the areas most family friendly beaches. We hated to leave the "happiest house" as my 4 year old called it. We are fortunate to have stayed in such a "happy" house owned by good folks that genuinely care about providing a comfortable and worry free stay. I want to thank the owners for sharing their home with us and we look forward to the opportunity to visit again next year.

Our trip to Isle of Palms was fantastic, made all the more so by this home. Amazing does not do this house justice. The homeowners clearly put a lot of thought into the design of their home and spared no expensive outfitting it with quality appliances and accents everywhere you look. You could tell that quality was priority #1 for them. The pool and hot tub area are amazing and were a great place to unwind after a hard day laying on the beach. At night the pool lights perfectly illuminated the palm trees surrounding the pool deck. The house has a HUGE backyard which was perfect for our dogs to run around in, while we watched from one of the many decks or screened porch. The kitchen was outfitted with every modern convenience and had a huge gas range with a side griddle that would make any chef happy. We even cooked up a low country boil with the supplied propane powered steamer/pot. The two master beds are "Sleep Number" beds, which I found to be fantastic if you've ever had back problems like me. The master bath upstairs was perfect is every way; huge mirror, plenty of outlets, dual sinks, deep jacuzzi tub, dual shower heads in bath, and a steamer for relaxing. The huge flatscreen TVs (probably 50"+) in every room made for perfect Olympic viewing. The beach was a short two blocks away and the homeowners supplied a cart which made lugging a day's worth of gear to the beach a breeze. Again, simply perfect! This home was an amazing place to spend a week on the island. One recommendation for your family's trip: definitely rent some bicycles as you are just a short ride from everything! I hadn't even seen the house and I told my husband we were never leaving. We entered through a beautiful large fenced backyard with a beautiful pool and hot tub, outdoor shower and plenty of comfortable seating. The house lived up to and surpassed the beauty of the yard. Everything was done to make us feel completely welcome and comfortable. All the appliances and electronics were top of the line and the sleep number beds were soooo comfy. Maybe the best part was we were able to bring our beloved dogs with us. Every thing was done to make them feel comfortable as well they even had their own water bowls. I hope we will be fortunate enough to visit again next year.

We have been vacationing at Isle of Palms for at least the past 18 years and we have finally found the vacation home that we would want to return to year after year! This home provided us with the most comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful accomodations we have ever had on our beach vacation. The photos and description are extremely accurate and right on point; however, to truly appreciate this home, you must see if for yourself. The location is very close and convenient to everything on the island---the beach, the grocery store, and its also just a short distance from downtown Charleston. The beds and linens are of high quality and so well maintained---as is every inch of this beautiful house! The owners are so kind and helpful and this home really shows the love and attention they have given it. I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to booking it for next summer!

We had an absolute fantastic time during our stay from 6/23 - 6/30. The home is beautiful and you feel 'at home' the moment you walk in. My family has 3 boys ages 16, 12, and 8 and they loved spending time in the pool and on the Wii! We always ended the evening with a swim and a visit to the hot tub. The ocean is only about a 5 mintue walk away, and my mom and I walked on the beach every morning. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit, so you can pack light. I recommend to bring a long sleeve shirt or sweat shirt for inside. After all day in the sun, the air conditioning can feel cool. Also note -- the king beds upstairs and down are sleep number beds, so that was fun. The home owners are wonderful and very kind. The only other tip I could give is if you like 'soft mushy' pillows for sleeping, you may want to bring your own. On the last day, we went into Charolette for a little shopping and dinner. It is really beautiful and I think it would also be nice to go in for a morning of shopping and then have lunch. We spent most of our time just enjoying the house, pool, ocean, and each other. I hope we get to go back again. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you Wayne and Rachelle!!!!

This was our first trip to IOP and we loved it! We have visited other beaches and stayed in other rental homes in the past. But, now we have a new favorite! The pictures and decriptions of this listing are accurate, but you just have to see in order to do it justice. The adults and children all enjoyed the beach, pool/spa and outdoor space so much that we were sad to see our stay come to an end. This is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and spend quality time together as a family. We hope that we are able to return again next summer.

We just returned from a week stay in this lovely home! We have been vacationing in IOP+/or Folly Beach area for the past 7yrs and have stayed in very nice places, but this home ranks at the top of our list. The open floor plan, the spacious bedrooms and comfortable SleepNumber beds were a welcome respite after a day at the beach (2 short blocks away) and hours in the pool and spa in the beautiful back yard. The multiple decks and comfortable patio furniture were nice to relax on and the kitchen with high end appliances was a pleasure to work in. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be returning!

This home was perfect for our family vacation and we had a great time using the pool and hot tub every day! The house comes with all the comforts of home and some! The master bedroom and bathroom, as well as second guest bedroom are very spacious with nice balconies and french doors! All of the rooms have large flat screen TVs as well. The Third bedroom was perfect for children and comfortably can sleep multiple kids if needed. The double beds and bunk were very comfortable, and all rooms have lots of closet and storage space. We loved being able to have our dog vacation with us! We enjoyed eating meals from a number of the available outdoor tables and chairs, but the kitchen was also very spacious and a nice large table to seat 5 or 6. The pool and hot tub was definitely a highlight, as well as the full outdoor shower! It's just a short walk to the beach, and a beach cart was available as well to haul chairs or cooler, etc. It's easy enough to drive and park along Palm Boulevard if needed as well. We loved the location and the home and hope to return next summer for another week!

Beautiful home in Isle of Palms! The home was absolutely perfect for a family. Living space was extremely comfortable and the home had every feature you could possibly want for a wonderful vacation. We wished we had rented the home longer than a week and look forward to coming back again very soon. Very close to the beach. Beautiful pool and hot tub was an added feature which we used every morning and evening. Also, the owners were very sweet and available for any needs you might have during your stay.

We were fortunate enough to be the first renters in this newly built home. We were comfortable and well cared for by the owners, who were always available to answer questions and provide helpful guidance. You will find the heated Salt Water pool and hot tub most welcoming, with plenty of high quality pool furniture to sit, rock and lounge in. There is a handy outdoor shower. The yard is completely fenced in, providing safe roaming grounds for Fido, Spot, or Pooch. The outdoor back deck off of the living room is a quaint place to enjoy lunch or a refreshing lemonade, plus you have a separate screened portion to enjoy in the morning or evening, listening to the birds or reading. The first floor living room/dining room/kitchen is open for family-centered living, with quick access to the half bath and laundry room. You will have two bedrooms on the first floor with a shared bathroom; the kids will enjoy the bunk room and grandma and grandpa can have their own bedroom with a king size bed and outdoor deck access. Both have large closets. The upstairs master suite is roomy and private. The suite's bathroom has a double vanity with lighted make-up mirror, a modern soaking bubbler tub and don't forget to treat yourself to the health and beauty benefits of the steam room before a raining shower! The master suite's large walk-in closet is handy, plus you also have your own deck and seating. The house is located in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood with plenty of parking and a place to wash off your beach stuff, feet, and paws when you come home. It's an easy, safe walk to the beach access and you'll find your own beach wagon to help you get there. Isle of Palms is an upscale barrier island with a very short drive to convenient shopping and grocery stores over the Isle of Palms Connector into Mt. Pleasant. Just a few more minutes drive, and you're in charming downtown Charleston where you'll find endless activities, shopping, museums, history, and restaurants. I've been a beach house renter for 20+ years, all over the East Coast. This is by far one of my best experiences and I look forward to returning here again.
