Recently remodeled unit on the second floor is ideal for an extended stay. Unit is ultra private and secure. Gated community and second floor means you can sleep with the windows WIDE open. The lush, mature vegitation makes the large lanai very private indeed. At night it seems as you are the only one for miles!
Our rental strategy is to minimize wear and tear. As such. those who value a unit that feels crisp and clean will not be disappointed. Unit has never been in the General Rental pool. Owners seek hiqh quality renters who will care for it as their own. 10 minute walk on paved path to the beach. Pool and grilling cabana. Great beach with charming little beach bar. In nearly all Hawaii, there are not truly private beaches. The beach club at Mauna Lani Point feels like a private neighborhood beach club. We bought the unit because of this beach club. A turtle or two sun themselves in the afternoon. The snorkling just off the beach is really nice. And if you forget something at the unit, you can easily walk back and get it. What I like most is that there are people around (there are a dozen seats at the bar at the very friendly beach bar) if you want them, and near-solitude if you want to chill.

Photos don't capture the beauty and comfort of this condo. Pride of ownership is obvious. The property was immaculate. The owner answered all questions in a timely manner and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to more visits here and will definitely recommend it to our friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My family (husband and daughters aged 19 & 21) had a great stay at this condo. The description on the website and photos were perfect depictions. There were even more amenities than we expected - grill, pool, sauna, hot tub a short walk away; use of bicycles; boogie boards,etc. The kitchen was well equipped, and the condo was very clean and well maintained - basically a new interior. The owner was very helpful in answering all our questions before our arrival and during our stay. The WiFi connection strong and there were tvs in both bedrooms and the living room. The walk to the beautiful beach was about 7 minutes at leisurely pace, (drive maybe 3 minutes) and the beach had ample beach chairs, beach activities (kayaking, paddleboards, snorkeling equipment etc) and a great restaurant/bar open from about 11 am onward for lunch, dinner, small meals, drinks, smoothies, etc. There is a wonderful beach path from the property all the way to the Orchid Hotel and to the Puako neighborhood which I walked almost every day. Turtles on the path! Whales breaching almost every day! The sunrise was a great view to wake up to in the morning as it rose over the volcano and golf course - the main view from the living area and master bath. My husband loved the golf on the south course, which he played 4x during our 2-week stay and he used driving range and putting area almost every day we were there. When we go to the big island again we will definitely try to reserve this condo again. Wonderful vacation, great condo!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We spent a week in December at this lovely condo at a great part of the Big Island. The unit itself is contemporary with a great chef's kitchen, wonderful master and very comfortable living spaces. It is quiet, and very clean. It is close to both the pool and a beach that is perfect. There is a great bar/restaurant at the beach as well. Everything is very convenient, including a great grocery store. We had a great time, and cannot wait to return. I would highly recommend it! Owners were very accomodating and super easy to work with!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We came here for the first time when the kids were tots. Excellent, small private-ish beach you can walk to.We fell in love with the beach. It is well-contained, and hash a charming little spot for drinks and lunch. There is great snorkeling, including huge corral and sea turtles. The units are private and well constructed. Mature tropical folliage. Concrete construction that makes for cooler temperatures and protection from the neighbors' noise..
