  We just stayed in this condo for our family spring break! The condo Is very clean and convenient to all Panama City We will definately use again. Owner was so very helpful!

  This condo was absolutely perfect for our family spring break get away. The owner was attentive to our needs prior to arrival. The decor was so beautiful and peaceful in this condo. You can tell upon arrival that this is definitely a home away from home. Everything we needed or wanted to do was within walking distance since this condo resort is right across from Pier Park. The teenagers thought it was great to be able to independently walk across to shops and restaurants on their own while we enjoyed the pools and walks on the beach. I would definitely recommend renting from this owner and this condo if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway or a girl's weekend to be close to all the upscale entertainment, shopping, restaurants, etc.

  We came down just for the weekend for a girl's weekend beach getaway. The condo was exceptionally clean and welcoming with a beach feeling. The view from the balcony was incredible, and a great way to start the morning. It's in a great location with Pier Park directly across the street. The beds were very comfortably, and I slept exceptionally well. The bathrooms are nice and spacious. It was the perfect setting for a beach vacation. I had one of the most relaxing beach trips, and did not think about work one time. I would absolutely stay here again.

  This was the perfect condo choice for our family to enjoy the beach and relax during Fall Break! The rental process was a breeze and the owner was very, very prompt and courteous in answering our emails and questions. Being able to go straight to the condo and avoid check-in lines was amazing! From the moment we walked into this condo we knew we had made the right choice. It was VERY clean from the fresh smell upon entry to the cleanliness of the flooring, bathrooms, linens, dishes, etc. We are a really picky family when it comes to cleanliness and staying in unknown locations .... so this was a really big deal for us!! We quickly looked around the condo at all the colorful and beautiful decorations, claimed our bedrooms with no grumbling at all (again ... another big deal for our family) because each bedroom had its own flat screen television and private bathroom and headed out to the balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views. We were so excited to find out that we were visiting during Pirate Weekend which meant we were right in the middle of all the fun and action, with our condo at Calypso being located right next to the pier and Pier Park. We had a magical view of the fireworks presentation from our balcony on Saturday night. The best part of the balcony and being on the 18th floor was waking up each morning and watching dolphins play in the ocean as we enjoyed our coffee time. The two pools were beautiful, clear, clean and not overly crowded. The workout room was well equipped with bikes, treadmills and ellipticals. We were able to walk to wonderful restaurants, shopping and anything we needed without ever having to use our vehicle. Our family has stayed at a lot of condos in Panama City over the years and at Calypso several times but this condo has been our very favorite thus far! It is always nice knowing you are renting a family-owned condo! We met the housekeeper upon departure and she explained to us that this is one of her condos to clean each and every day. I think that is one of the reasons it was so very clean! When the regular housekeeper understands the expectations and standards of the condo owner, the condo renter reaps the benefits! We had a great Fall Break get-away with our family and we cannot wait to book our summer vacation for this very same condo ..... 1809 W. Thank you to the owner of this condo for offering their little piece of paradise to other families, including ours!!!

• Wonderful Stay!

  My family of 6 stayed very comfortably in the condo. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed and I was able to cook several full meals at night. I loved the way the condo was decorated and the master bed slept comfortably to my husband and I and we had no complaints from the kids or grandmother that went with us. The views are spectacular from the balacony and having the corner unit is an extra benefit. You can see down to Pier Park from the balcony and the windows and people watch if you enjoy that. I loved being able to get up early and walk out the master bedroom sliding door to the balcony and laying in the lounger and reading a book. It was very peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely consider staying in this condo again on future visits! Thanks for allowing my family to stay in your beautiful condo. The Simpsons

  This condo was a great choice for our family vacation! The views from this balcony are incomparable to any condo we have ever stayed in at PCB. The short walk to Pier Park was an added bonus that we enjoyed daily! Our kids loved the choice of two swimming pools (both of which were very clean at all times). Lots of space! Updated televisions were a plus!!! Clean! Clean! Clean! Our family loved the fact that it was family-owned and the correspondence was very prompt and friendly. We are already checking the dates for our next visit to Calypso 1809w. Thanks for sharing your wonderful condo with our family!!!!

  Upon check-in, we entered the condo and it smelled as if it had been mopped with soured water. The stools at the counter had rips in them and the walls were badly scuffed. The carpets were old and in need of cleaning. The overall condo is in need of redecorating. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa that night, there were dirty sheets still on the mattress with cereal all over the sheet. There was a dried up banana peel beside the couch that had been there quite a while. A child's shoe and an empy soda can were under one of the chairs. All of the sheets on the beds had to be washed before we could sleep in them. Housekeeping evidently did not do their job. The refrigerator was not working either. We called the after hours number, but could not get an answer. We then called the owner directly and she was able to get in touch with someone. She was very nice and apologetic for the inconvenience caused to us. The next day the head of housekeeping came and mopped the floors and vacuumed the carpets. It was not until the third day that someone came to fix the refrigerator. We had to keep all of our cold items in a cooler until then. We usually stay at another property while in PCB, but it was my daughter's 16th birthday and she and her friends wanted to be near Pier Park. I understand the location of the property is mainly what we paid for, but the room was a disappointment to us. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.

  Owner response: Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback from our guests. I am truly sorry that the condo was not as expected when you arrived. I do wish you had contacted me upon check-in so I could have resolved your concerns sooner. When you called me at 11pm on Sunday night, I immediately got in touch with the property management service and with your concurrence scheduled housekeeping to re-clean the condo promptly on Monday morning. In addition the entire cleaning fee was refunded to you as compensation for your inconvenience. The cleaner did notice that a lot of the furniture had been moved around and that a birthday party had taken place the night before. The refrigerator was checked on Monday and though cooling was not putting out enough cold air. The repairman was backed up due to July 4th volume, so did not fix condenser until Tuesday morning. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your review. We have addressed the concerns you communicated: bar stools have been recovered, scuffed bar area has been repainted, housekeeping addressed, and even some of the furnishings have been refreshed.

  Great Location!!! Short walk to Pier Park. Great for families. Our girls ranged from 17 to 4. Security guards were visible during the day and at night and very helpful. Condo was very clean and well maintained. Everything was as described. We will definitely stay here again.
