  What a phenomenal place to stay at the beach! I had an incredible 5 day stay in the condo. Great views, great weather, great surroundings. The condo is just magic, especially at sunset where I sat on the balcony watching the sun get low in the sky and the dolphins play in the water. Thanks for an amazing stay Nikki and Mike. Your place is incredible.

  We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this well equipped condo. The view is absolutely spectacular. Anyone with any reservations about using VRBO or renting this condo, have no fear, it comes exactly as advertised with many special touches inside and out. All of the previous reviews are absolutely on the mark! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Thank you Nikki for sharing your home with us!

  This unit was exactly the way it is advertised. Nikki made us feel "at home" while making reservations and throughout our vacation. Centrally located to many activities, restaurants, and attractions. Some would not even have a need to leave "A Place At The Beach" because of all the things that they offer on the premises. This is a place that we have put on our "must return" list of places to vacation.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Best Condo: clean, fresh/fun decor, plenty of room, cozy chair/couch, and well equipped with everything needed. Linens, beach towels, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas were all provided. So nice not having to pack those extra things. Nikki ( owner of the condo) was very easy to work with and answered any of my questions or concerns. Best View: wonderful open view of the ocean from almost every room in the condo. Being inside the condo was like an extension of the balcony. I could sit in the living room and enjoy the ocean view while rocking my 7 month old granddaughter to sleep. Loved that rocking chair! Best Location: gated community, top floor, corner unit, close to beach,and close to pool. Good restaurants and fun family activities were near by. We felt safe and had fun. Best Activities on Site: large pool with fun water slide, putt putt, shuffleboard, indoor pool, playground, and tennis court.The property was clean and well maintained. Guest were friendly. Everyone at the pool clapped for my 3 year old grandson when he went down the slide for the first time. He was so excited! Best Beach: clean, not crowded, friendly people, and plenty of shells to collect.The beach walkway with showers was only two floors down from the condo. You can see the walkway from the condo. I will recommend this condo to friends and we hope to return next year.

  Although it rained for about half the day, every day of our trip -- we had a great time. The view from the condo was fantastic and we love love loved the waterslide. It was just a fun week and I'm ready to go back again!

  The owner's description is accurate. This is a nice unit. It's clean and has a great view. We have two kids and had plenty of room. The pool and slide were a hit. The beach is nice. I like the way it goes out shallow for some distance. The complex overall feels very clean and the staff obviously works hard to keep it that way. I would recommend this to friends and will come back again.

  My family and I have been staying at APATB for 7 years now. I can honestly say Unit 375 is the most comfortable and well-equipped unit I've stayed in. The owners are gracious hosts and any guest will feel at home in this beautifully decorated oceanfront condo. From the comfy swivel chair, relaxing mattresses to the wonderful linens, they have gone above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. You really only need to bring your clothes. I cannot think of anything they haven't thought of already. The location of the corner condo is ideal as well... making it ever so quiet and away from the hallway traffic. AND THE VIEW..... GORGEOUS! The view from that balcony literally sucks you in. I drank my every cup of coffee out there. You will never want to leave. The process dealing with VRBO was extremely simple. Nikki is an exceptional owner, easy to communicate with and trustworthy. As for the APATB, we enjoy meeting other family members there due to the amenities offered. The kids love the pool and weekly activities. There's really not much need to spend money elsewhere. Overall, Unit 375 is a vacation experience. One that I and my family cannot wait to take again!

  This place is advertised as the best condo at A Place At the Beach and I would agree! You are right on the ocean and close to the pool and boardwalk down to the beach. We arrived on a day when it was about 100 degrees but once you stepped out onto the balcony, it was much cooler due to the breeze from the ocean. The views from the living room/balcony are amazing :) This place has everything you could want, a pool with a waterslide, an indoor pool, putt putt, outdoor grills, a small convenience store, basketball, tennis, hot tubs. The condo was colorfully decorated and very clean. Everything you need is in the kitchen as well. Some of the restaurants in the area we checked out were White Swan (GOOD bbq!), El Zarape (this was the best in our opinion), The Sanitary in Morehead City and 4 Corners Restaurant which was very reasonably priced and good food. Also recommend the Aquarium in Pine Knolls Shores and Fort Macon if you are a history buff. This was a very relaxing vacation and we didn't feel the need to leave the property much as we were just wanting to hang out on the beach (GREAT shelling!) and the pool. Not a touristy town which is just what we wanted. A nice, laid-back vibe. Nikki was great to work with and very communicative when I had questions. I highly recommend!!

  This was just a perfect week at the beach. The condo was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained and GREAT views of the beach. (not the mention the pool as well!) . The condo had everything you needed for your week: fully stocked kitchen, clean towels & linens, beach chairs & boogie boards! With the mini golf, basketball, water slide at the pool and they playground the facility had plenty of options for our family which consists of two young children and one teenager! On-Site the staff was wonderful and the owner of the condo (Nikki) was great to deal with. I would recommend this place highly.

  The property has a spectacular view and is very nicely appointed. It is comfortable, modern, with easy access to the beach, the pool, and the waterslide. The owner of the property is very professional and easy to work with. Our family gives our experience there a big "thumbs up!
