Your condo is located on the hillside of Flamingo peninsula, directly across the street from the Flamingo Marina Resort hotel, and overlooking Potrero Bay. All rooms have spectacular views of the bay, dotted with islands, opening into the pacific ocean, and surounding mountains. There is absolutely no better view of sunrise than from your balcony.
Beautifully appointed 2 bedroom/2bathroom condominium in heart of Flamingo Beach, 55 minutes from Liberia’s international airport.
This top floor 1300 sq ft. condo, with spectacular ocean views features a large balcony accessible from both bedrooms and living area.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters and is stocked with a complete set of dishes, cook wear, crock pot, coffee maker, blender, rice cooker. A barbeque is also provided.
The living room/dining room combination, is nicely furnished with leather couches, television and dvd player. An extensive collection of movies and books are included.
The master bedroom is large, has a king size bed, separate full bathroom, plenty of closet space and a television.
The second bedroom also large, containing 2 queen size beds, a separate bathroom, plenty of closet space and a television.
The building has free laundry facilities, a fully equipped gym, 2 beautiful pools, onsite security, and an elevator. The condo is less than a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica and within easy walking distance to several fantastic restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, and car rental agency. Flamingo Beach has the most beautiful sunsets and is a very safe beach for children.
Eco Trans, an excursions/tour operator is conveniently located in a plaza one block from Sunset Heights for those who want to explore the area further.
Your Sunset Heights condo is associated with the Flamingo Beach Resort, providing you with free use of all facilities; tennis, yoga, water aerobics, gym, NEW Serenity Full service Spa, pool & ping-pong tables, and dive center.
If you like golf, Flamingo has several great courses nearby - check them out online, Conchal and Hacienda Pinillas. If your goal is sightseeing, there is plenty to do in the area. Day trips to Monteverde Cloud Forest, Bonavista Hot springs, white water rafting, zip-lining/canopy tours, Lake Arenal with active volcanos , wildlife reserves, Nicaragua, or horseback riding can easily be arranged with Ecotrans.
Local area offers 2 famous beaches, Playa Grande and Playa Avellanas, and some of the best surfing on the west coast. Surf lessons and boards are easily arranged. The town of Tamarindo, a 15 min drive is famous for surfing, shopping and nightlife.

Having visited Flamingo Beach several times over the past years, I can say that it is a great spot for a getaway! The weather is a sure thing and the ocean breeze makes for a great week of beach walks, sunning, zip lining, eco-travel, catamaran tours, kayaking, fabulous (and reasonable!) restaurants. The condo itself is clean and very comfortable and has a beautiful view and pool(s) of its own overlooking the ocean that we usually had all to ourselves. We also had access to the Flamingo Beach pool and services, an all-inclusive resort with tennis, gym and all the amentities including a great beach for body surfing and walks. Not far away are some of the best surfing beaches in Canada and we enjoyed our beach days watching the younger kids surfing and enjoying beachside restaurants. The Grande beach is clean and not crowded and you can walk for miles. We didn't golf but there are also many excellent golf courses in the area. Definitely recommend this as a spot that has something for everyone! We'll be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: The first time we came to Flamingo beach we were swept away by the natural beauty of the beaches, islands, and mountains all within 1 square mile! We had never experienced such an appealing combination of natural beauty, spectacular weather, great food, and remarkably friendly local people. For these reasons, we chose Flamingo Beach as our wedding destination. A beautiful ceremony at sunset, right on the beach. We return to Flamingo Beach as often as we can to enjoy our most favorite place on earth.
