Kathi and Paul, All we can say is thank you for sharing this marvelous house with us!! The pictures truly do not do it justice. We want to thank you for your communications with us and for staying to meet with us personally when our plane was delayed. No one could have been more generous! You have a set a standard for us that will be hard-pressed to meet. If anyone is looking for a house in the Berkshires this is the one to get!!! Even our extended family who live in a neighboring community were able to come over and no one felt the least bit constricted. With all the outdoor yard space (front and back) available the 5 children we had and my sister's 2 grandchildren had plenty of space to run and play. Once again, thank you!!!!

Owner response: We enjoyed meeting you and your family. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again soon! Thank you for your kind words. Kathleen and Paul
My college roommates and I take a long, girls weekend vacation each year. We are in our 50's and have been doing this for many years. This year we chose this lovely home because they would rent for a long weekend instead of a week and the price was right! The house and its setting is wonderful! Clean and very spacious and located close to anything you wanted to do in the Berkshires. The backyard was a nature wonderland with deer, fox, rabbits and an assortment of birds! Although we didn't go, the lake is a two block walk. Grocery stores and restaurants are all located near to the house, as are outlets and shopping centers and if you want to do some hiking, Monument Mountain is a must! The owners, Kathleen and Paul had the house stocked with everything we needed. We met Kathleen and she was very warm and welcoming. We had some small issues with a beeping smoke alarm and opening the back slider, but a quick phone call to Kathleen and everything was straightened out. Would definitely rent there again!

Great weekend away!
Great weekend away!
My boyfriend and I chose this location to spend the weekend with my two best girlfriends from college and their boyfriends. The property was beautiful and even better than we expected! It was set off from the road so it was nice and quiet. The home was clean and spacious and the deck proved a lovely place to enjoy a drink. On Friday we ate at Mazzeos per Paul's recommendation and we enjoyed delicious meals and a few drinks - I definitely recommend this Italian restaurant. Saturday we went to Hilltop Orchards and went on a leisurely hike and participated in the wine and cider tasting. We cooked dinner in the home and had all the pots and pans we needed! We also enjoyed the ping pong table and selection of games. Kathleen and Paul were both friendly in their communications with us and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Why the Owner Chose Lanesborough:
We love the open floor plan as well as the spaces for everyone to have the ability to find a corner or room to get away in. The two large family rooms offer everyone a chance to relax in comfort. The house is tucked off the road so you have privacy.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house has that perfect combination of privacy while being accessible and convenient to the many activities, shopping and eateries in the Berkshires.
