Kathi and Paul, All we can say is thank you for sharing this marvelous house with us!! The pictures truly do not do it justice. We want to thank you for your communications with us and for staying to meet with us personally when our plane was delayed. No one could have been more generous! You have a set a standard for us that will be hard-pressed to meet. If anyone is looking for a house in the Berkshires this is the one to get!!! Even our extended family who live in a neighboring community were able to come over and no one felt the least bit constricted. With all the outdoor yard space (front and back) available the 5 children we had and my sister's 2 grandchildren had plenty of space to run and play. Once again, thank you!!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We enjoyed meeting you and your family. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again soon! Thank you for your kind words. Kathleen and Paul

My boyfriend and I chose this location to spend the weekend with my two best girlfriends from college and their boyfriends. The property was beautiful and even better than we expected! It was set off from the road so it was nice and quiet. The home was clean and spacious and the deck proved a lovely place to enjoy a drink. On Friday we ate at Mazzeos per Paul's recommendation and we enjoyed delicious meals and a few drinks - I definitely recommend this Italian restaurant. Saturday we went to Hilltop Orchards and went on a leisurely hike and participated in the wine and cider tasting. We cooked dinner in the home and had all the pots and pans we needed! We also enjoyed the ping pong table and selection of games. Kathleen and Paul were both friendly in their communications with us and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Alison, We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and were able to take advantage of some of the wonderful things to do in the Berkshires. Hope to host you again soon! Kathleen and Paul

About the owner: Kathleen and Paul enjoy our children and grandchildren and our two shepherds Monty and Max. Kathleen is an administrator at a private college in Massachusetts. Paul is the owner/operator of a landscape business in Connecticut.
Why the Owner Chose Lanesborough:
We love the open floor plan as well as the spaces for everyone to have the ability to find a corner or room to get away in. The two large family rooms offer everyone a chance to relax in comfort. The house is tucked off the road so you have privacy.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house has that perfect combination of privacy while being accessible and convenient to the many activities, shopping and eateries in the Berkshires.
