    Myself, my husband, and our 7 month old baby traveled to South Beach and stayed at this condo - which was a great experience, and we had an amazing vacation! Simon was amazing in providing us with information on the location and was very prompt with his replies. He was also vacationing at the same time as us and met us upon arrival. Location - we were unsure about traveling with a baby to South Beach, but the location was great. It was very close to everything - 5 min walk to beach (walk over small bridge and then cross Colin's Ave), 15 min walk to Lincoln Ave (great shopping, patio dinners), short drive to Whole Foods (or other groceries/chain eating places). It was close to everything, but off the main strip so it wasn't loud! We also drove the Florida keys, about 3.5hrs without stops to Key West, which was a great trip with a baby! Condo - was very clean and modern. Had everything you would need in the kitchen. They also provided sun chairs and a sun umbrella which came in very handy for us with our baby! Simon also offered to have a playpen setup with sheets for our use (but we brought our own). I also believe the couch was a pull out. Wireless internet throughout the condo which was great! The pool was also nice and clean (a bit cold when we went!), and very quiet. We never used the laundry or gym - but both seemed like great additions! We rented a car and it was always easy to find a spot to part right beside the building. The building was fairly accessible - which was handy with our stroller (just a small step if you exited at the side). All in all, a great condo, Simon was very helpful and professional, and we would definitely go back!

    I was slightly apprehensive about what to expect from the apartment as the price was very competitive for the time of year. I didn't need to worry. The complex was located a stroll away from the beach and the great shopping and restaurants of Lincoln road mall, and it was very clean throughout. The room is perfect for two or three people to share and again was spotless and kitted out with everything you could need, including beach towels, iron, fridge, freezer, microwave etc. We spent some time down by the pool area on our first night watching an impromptu drumming session of some sort by people who lived or were staying in the building, everyone was just great. I'd highly recommend Miami Beach Suites and would definitely stay there again. A big thank you to Simon and Marine (who we disturbed on Christmas day to get into the apartment on arrival)

    Wir (2 Personen) haben das Apartment für 10 Nächte gebucht. Der Mailkontakt zwischen dem Vermieter Simon und mir war toll. Er hat immer schnell geantwortet. Apartment war wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns fast wie zu Hause gefühlt :-) Supermarkt ist mit Auto 2 Min. entfernt - aber auch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. # Lage: fast am Strand ... -nur 5 Min. entfernt und daher in Top Lage. Zum Ocean Drive kann man gemütliche 20 Min. am Strandweg entlang laufen. Pkw konnten wir vor dem Haus parken - allerdings wird derzeit die Straße erneuert, die sicherlich in 1-2 Monaten fertig ist. Anwohner Parken-Ticket gab es kostenlos für den Zeitraum dazu. # Ausstattung: Apartment hatte alles, was man in einem Apartment benötigt und sehr sauber. Es gibt sogar Strandstühle und Sonnenschirm im Apartment :-) die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei, ist aber sehr laut in der Nacht - aber dadurch, dass es einen Deckenventilator gab, war es nachts eine gute Zwischenlösung. # Apartmentkomplex: ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und man kann den Pool und den Fitness Raum nutzen und es gibt sogar einen Waschmaschinen Raum, dass man seine Wäsche für 1,75 $ waschen kann. Waschmittel kann man für 1 $ gleich über einen Automat vor Ort kaufen. Also in allem wirklich perfekt und empfehlenswertes Apartment. Viele Grüße Daniela

    I stayed here with a friend and I would absolutely reccomend this apartment. It was perfect for our stay and more importantly was very clean and easy to feel at home. Coming back to the apartment was always a good feeling and it was being able to spend a day by the pool or a late morning/evening relaxing. The location is perfect for all the attractions and is extremely centralised in a safe district. I hope to visit again and would like to stay there duringour next trip. This apartment is perfect for couples but enough space for friends too. During our stay we had a night in The Keys and stayed at a hotel there and in comparison we couldn't wait to get back to our lovely apartment back in South Beach. Having somewhere nice to stay (with a decent) can make such a difference to a good or bad holiday. This was definittely an amazing holiday that I will never forget. The pictures were true to the listing and we couldn't have asked for more. The owner of the apartment was also fantastic and ensured prompt, honest communication and ensured a very pleasant experience overall. There are so many places to stay in Miami South Beach but I would recommend this place over many of those others if you do not want to be disappointed.

    Me and my husband stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The agent Marine was really helpful and accommodating when we were delayed and arrived in the middle of the night. The accommodation was clean and modern and we had a little balcony which was lovely to have your coffee in a morning. Complex also has a great pool area and a small but perfect gym space. Location is about a 20 mins walk to ocean drive which ment that we would enjoy the hustle and bustle but were able to leave it all behind as the apartment is in a much quieter area. Beach is just across the road as well.

    Loved the property it was everything you could want, I stayed there for 2 weeks in July with my boyfriend, its clean modern has a gym and swimming pool and directly opposite Collins Avenue opposite the W hotel and Gainsvort. Would 100% book it again. Simon was very helpful and friendly. Cant fault it.

    My partner and I stayed at the Mandell Plaza for six days. It was an absolutely great time. The building is perfectly situated and is actually walking distance to Lincoln Road. If you don’t mind walking a few blocks. The pool was great and the gym was surprisingly good. I was able to keep up with my workouts. There is a Walgreen’s that is walking distance and it is 2 blocks from the 24th Street beach that’s absolutely gorgeous. The apartment itself is very modern and has a beautiful south facing view. The bathroom is newly remodeled and the kitchen worked out great. I would definitely stay here again!

    wir wurden nach telefonischer absprache nach ankunft am flughafen von der verwalterin empfangen. sie hat uns dann unser appartment gezeigt und alles gut erklärt. auch einkaufsmöglichkeiten empfohlen. ein mini-markt ist ca 200m entfernt ein supermarkt ca knapp 1km. gute ausstattung, es hat nichts gefehlt. sogar handtücher und sonnenschirm für den strand vorhanden. w-lan nur in der lobby, aber 24h möglich. gratis parkplätze vorhanden. unbedingt die parkgenehmigung hinter die frontscheibe legen. bis zum strand ca 200m-250m. den hotelpool haben wir nicht genutzt, war aber immer sauber. die geräte im fittnessraum machten auch einen guten und modernen eindruck. bezahlung und emailkontakt verliefen ohne probleme und schnell. war ein sehr schöner urlaub und wenn wir wieder nach miami kommen, würden wir wieder versuchen dort zu buchen.

    Everything about our stay in Miami was excellent. Simon was really helpful in handling our booking and answering questions about Miami. When we arrived we got a warm welcome from Marine. The appartment was great - well equiped, very clean and comfortable. The pool is very tranquil and never busy. The location is also ideal, close to South Beach and all the attractions. We will be definitely be back.

    This apartment is in the perfect location - 2 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes walk from all the restaurants and shops. It was extremely quiet and peaceful and incredibly tidy. The owner was extremely helpful and my partner and I felt that staying in this apartment really enhanced our trip. We felt that the price was very fair for the time of year we travelled (over New Year). We can't wait to go back!!

    Free parking. Completely modern room. Well placed...a 15 minute stroll from the hustle and bustle (we would walk the beach to the strip). A block from the beach. Nice quiet pool area. Would definitely recommend to couples (and even one small child). One thing that I would change is the mattress...it is incredibly squeaky. Would wake my wife up when I would roll over. Simon was super professional and prompt regarding the reservation.

    Me and my boyfriend went to Miami for two weeks and stayed in the Mantell Plaza for the first week of our vacation. On first impressions, I was very pleased as every aspect to the apartment was polished and it was fully equipped with everything we needed, from towels to a fridge, cooker and microwave. The location was perfect, only a three minute walk to the beach and a ten minute walk to all of South Beach’s main attractions like Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive. The Walgreens round the corner from the apartment also came in very handy to buy small groceries for the apartment. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely be staying there again next year. Might I also add that Simon and Marine were very helpful in the whole process of giving information and local tips. Thanks both

    We stayed in this apartment for a week as part of a group of 5 adults who also stayed at The Mantell Plaza. The week was excellent, the accomodation was in a great location for all the main areas including collins avenue, washington avenue, lincoln road and ocean drive. It was a hop arcross the road to the beach and there are two supermarkets within easy reach. There were also two hire car companies across the small bridge on collins avenue. Our apartment was very spacious with everything we needed, suitable for two adults and the local residents were very friendly. The pool area was also a great benefit with all day sun and a handy gazebo with lots of chairs and a table when the rain did appear. The only suggestion would be to contact the person who has the key when you have collected your baggage to avoid a 15-20 minute wait outside when you get there. The building is fully secure (a good thing!) so you cannot get in without this. Would recommend to those visiting South Beach.

    Nous sommes partis deux semaines à Miami Beach et nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances au Mantell Plaza! Nous avions loués l'appartement 542, il est tout simplement magnifique! la décoration est digne des magasines de décorations d'intérieur, propre, sublime pour passer des vacances à Miami Beach. La piscine et les salle de sport sont tout simplement excellents et la propreté est indiscutable. Monsieur Farkas est quelqu'un de très disponible, plein de bons conseils et il vous aidera à planifier votre séjour pour que ce dernier se passe pour le mieux! L'appartement est très bien situé (proche des grands centres d'intérets (Ocean Drice, Lincoln Road, etc...) Une adresse que je recommande fortement! On a déjà prévu d'y retourner sous peu!

    Myself and 2 friends decided at the last minute to have a girlie holiday to South Beach, Miami. A few people had said that the hotels are not great in Miami so we opted to rent an apartment instead. We came across a couple but this was the best value for money. The pics of the apartment looked so nice and the bonus was that it also had a gym, pool, laundry room, tv room and small library in the tv room with a range of books to choose from to read whilst soaking up the sun's rays. We stayed in apartment #304 and it was perfect. It was clean, sparkly new and comfortable. It was just the right size for the 3 of us but would be perfect for 2 people, particularly a couple. The location was a little way away from the main part of South Beach but was perfect as we didn't want to be right in the heart of it all. Due to the heat it was too hot to walk during the day so we used to get taxi's which were approx $6 and between 3 of us worked out to just over £1. Plus the taxi's are air-con'd which is a defo must in Miami!!! The apartment building is clean and quiet and there is a life so you don't have to worry about getting your cases to your room. The guys who rent the apartment, Simon and Jamie, are lovely, friendly and so helpful. They told us lots of info about the surrounding area, how to get to places and any events they knew of. They also gave us a few basics so that we had water, tea, coffee, milk, etc. when we arrived. The other thing is that they provide cleaning products so you don't have to worry about buying washing up liquid etc. if you are cooking in the apartment. We didn't hire a car and we got on absolutely fine. Like I said the apartment is in a good location and is not far from the main part of south beach or Lincoln Road or Washington. It is also literally a 2 min walk to the beach and local shop where you can pick up basics. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I am hoping to stay again next year.     Wir verbrachten 2 Wochen Mitte Juni in Miami. Das Appartement war ein Traum, wunderschön, modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an äußerst wohl gefühlt! Perfekt für ein Pärchen. Spitzenmäßig ausgestattet, sehr bequem und sauber - und alles neu. Im Haus auch ein Fitness-Studio mit neuen Geräten und ein wunderschöner Pool, der auch meist alleine genutzt werden kann; wir waren jedoch fast nur am Meer. Waschen kann man auch, also auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Auch die Lage ist spitze, man ist in einer Minute am weißen Karibik-Strand, und auch zum Zentrum gehts relativ schnell. Uns zumindest hat es an nichts gefehlt. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil, aber nicht unbedingt notwendig. Wir können das Appartement unbeschränkt weiter empfehlen! Also viel Spaß dort, man kann hier nichts falsch machen! Viele Grüße, Patrick

    Dear Simon and Jamie We were very happy with our stau in South Beach. Everything was great, we have nothing to complain about and we'll probably come back next year. The apartment was clean and modern. We espescially liked the pool area and the short dstance to the beach!

    Nous sommes un jeune couple de français et c'était notre 1er séjour à Miami beach. Nous avons adoré nos vacances passées au Mantell Plaza. L'appartement était encore mieux que sur le descriptif : neuf, propre, décoré avec goût et avec tout le nécessaire (il y a un parasol et des petites chaise pour la plage!) On s'est vraiment senti chez nous. On a adoré se faire des barbecues au bord de la piscine et profiter de la salle de sport dotée d'équipements récents.En plus de ça, nous avons était trés bien accueilli par Simon, le propriètaire des lieux, convivial, professionnel, disponible et qui connaît plein d'adresses pour sortir. Et le MUST, la situation de l'appartement : à 5mn à pied de la superbe plage de Miami Beach et à 15mn à pied des quartiers animés. En bref, si on revient à Miami, on sait déjà où on logera!

    We came for 5 days and ended up staying for 2 weeks. We had a wonderful stay in the appartment. Its been refurnished to a fantastic standard, and your assistance to provide a few extra baby things was really appreciated.The building is in a great location, with the beach just a short walk away, and its close enough for a nice stroll into Miami Beach downtown shops and restaurants. We have been recommending to friends and family, and we will definitely come again..

    We had a wonderful stay at this Penthouse studio suite. It`s newly renovated, very clean and close to the beach. It takes barely 5 minutes to the beach. The house is very quiet, the swimming pool and the gym is very clean and really pretty. It will not be my last time there!

    We are a young couple from the UK who stayed here for a week in February 2009. We spent a very long time comparing the features of apartments all over South Beach and we think we made a fantastic choice, and got a bit of a bargain too. Seriously, we have been raving to our friends about this place. Firstly, communication with Simon was very swift and professional. He allowed us to pay the deposit in Pounds which results in a significant saving. Also the cost of the week was much cheaper than the other apartments owned by Americans we were comparing against. Arrival was very smooth and the agent was there to welcome us. She was very friendly and even had some supplies waiting like Milk and snacks etc. The decor in the apartment was impressively clean and modern, to be honest it looked brand new. The kitchen was perfect, that oven microwave combo is great and we cooked in most nights. The pool was excellent, so quiet and peaceful, nice palm trees shelter it and it really can get hot, there are multi-coloured lights at night round the trees, and the BBQ and hammock were a nice surprise. There is also a vending machine in the Laundry room to get an ice cold drink. The few residents we did see were very friendly and we were impressed with how secure the building was, you can even watch the 8 security cameras on the TV. It is a very short walk to the beach, literally 2 minutes, you walk on a bridge over a canal and then cross a road. Although it is a good idea to rent a car, to nip to the Publix supermarket down the road, this is USA after all!!! To be honest though, the cost of a rental car for a week is almost the same as a return airport taxi. Overall, you will absolutely love this apartment, we can't wait to go back ourselves.

    We rented for 9 days first and ended up with staying almost 3 weeks! The Apartment is in perfect condition and very clean. The facilities at the property couldn`t be better, beautiful garden, nice big swimming pool, eating area and colorful flowers around the garden. We got very good service and taking care of by the owner and felt very welcome. The location is perfect, the beach is just across the street and Lincoln Road is just a few steps ahead. We will recommend this place to all our friends, young and old! And we will definitely be back again;)

    Studio apartment (open kitchen) for 2 persons, nicely furnished and renovated, new bathroom, very well equipped kitchen, elevator. Nice and clean swimming pool outside, close to the beach (5 mins by foot) and to Lincoln Road Mall (15 mins by foot) and Art Deco District (20-25 mins by foot) - perfect for couples who want to explore Miami Beach. If you come by car, the only drawback is the parking situation - all parking spaces in the direct surroundings of the apartment are for residents only during night. Public parking (with costs) about 5 mins by foot but sometimes it's hard to get a parking space there. Owner as well as contact person in Miami were very nice, all communication without problems. As the apartment is close to some major roads, at night it's not totally quiet, but we could sleep quite well ;-) and for couples wanting to explore Miami it's a perfect accomodation - I would definitely recommend the place. Stock eines Apartmenthauses, schoen und neu eingerichtet, gut ausgestattete Kueche, neu renoviertes Bad, Aufzug Schoener und sauberer Swimmingpool im Garten, Strand ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt, Lincoln Road Mall mit vielen Geschaeften und Restaurants sowie der beruehmte Art Deco District von Miami South Beach sind zu Fuss in ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Eigentuemer sowie Kontaktperson vor Ort waren sehr nett, die Abwicklung lief ohne Probleme. Einziges Manko ist die Parkplatzsituation - alle Parkplaetze in unmittelbarer Umgebung des Hauses sind bei Nacht Anwohnerparkplaetze (wer hier parkt wird abgeschleppt, kostet ca. 180-220 Dollar). Ein oeffentlicher Parkplatz ist ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt, ist aber kostenpflichtig (ca. 5-10$/Nacht). Da das Apartment in der Naehe von einigen groesseren Strassen liegt, ist es nachts nicht 100% ruhig, aber absolut ertraeglich. Ideal fuer junge Paare, die Miami Beach erkunden wollen - ich wuerde dieses Apartment auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

    I visited this studio between 3rd and 15th December 2008. The studio has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and is in a superb position very close to the beach and within 15 min walk of a pedestrian are (Lincoln Road) which has great shops and choices of restaurants. You can manage very well without a car as everthing is within walking distance and the boardwalk and beach walk is great if you , like us, like a good walk with all the sights of Miami beach to see. There is a good bus service or taxis and car hire just across the road if you want to travel further afield Aventura Mall and sawgrall Mills in fort lauderdale are well worth a visit for the shoppers. Miami Springs golf club is about 15 drive away and very good value and a good test of golf. For couples wanting a quiet location but within easy reach of most things I would recommend this studio to you.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    Thank you for a lovely holiday! We really enjoyed our stay at the suite, the location was perfect and the accomodation very tastefull, much better than staying in an hotel. If we come to Miami Beach again we be sure to stay, in the meantime we would recomend to all our friends.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
