Totally charming two-bedroom home on the north side of Sayulita. Beautiful gardens, ocean/sunset view, large veranda with porch swing, wonderful kitchen and outdoor living space.
Full bath inside plus an exceptional outdoor shower on the back patio surrounded by lush greenery and tropical birds and flowers. A five minute walk to the beach and ten minute walk to the center of town.
The house is quiet and private and very amenable to hanging out or having a romantic getaway. It is simple and unpretentious and everyone who goes to La Joyita ("The Little Jewel") finds it to be just that.

- Washer: There is a washer/dryer however it is not for renter use. Renters can ask to have clothes washed while in residence.

- Linens Provided: There are plenty of towels, beach towels, bedlinens to accomodate any length of stay.
- Off Street Parking: The house is at the end of the road with parking right next to the front gate.

- Queen Bed: One bedroom with a queen sized bed.
- Twin/Single Bed (2) : One bedroom with two twins.
- Convertible Bed: On the front porch there is a single bed hung from the cieling beams. This bed is more than adequate for sleeping, but does not have mosquito netting.

- Music Library: People generally bring their own music. There are ipod speakers available.
- Kitchen
- Full Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs for comfortable living.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: All dishes, pans, silverware etc.. are available. There is a coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster oven in addition to regular kitchen appliances.

- Outdoor Features
- Deck/Patio: There are two patios, one in front with a view of the ocean and one in back surrounded by jungle and totally private. The front deck has a fabulous ocean view. There is a table and chairs, single bed hommock swing and sitting area on the deck.

- Beach View: The house has a 180 degree sunset view of the Pacific Ocean. It is a 3 minute walk at the most to the beach.

- Telephone: The telephone is intermittent because of things related to the Mexican telephone company.

- Pet Friendly: Pets are fine as long as we know about them before hand.
- Kid Friendly: The house is great for kids. It is at the top of a hill so carrying small children up the hill can be strenuous if someone is not in good shape.

It is surrounded on three sides by jungle and therefore one can see birds, butterflies and some wildlife. It has a beautiful sunset view and is a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Sayulita and 3-5 minutes to the beach.

$800/week, but will consider longer stays
and pro-rating by the day. Off-season rates vary.

La Joyita is the perfect small house. It is tucked up on the hill above the beach with beautiful ocean views and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The house stays cool in the heat with nice breezes coming up from the ocean. It truly is "the jewel".
