  Everything was great! We totally agree with everything Jeff C. says. The one thing we can add is that this was a last minute vacation plan for us and Dee was always available for us through the whole process. We loved snorkeling right in front of the complex and we met some owners there that gave us great advice about when and where to snorkle, including where to find the best conch shells. We would enjoy staying at this unit again, especially when we can stay more than 5 nights.

  My wife and I take a one week vacation every year without the kids and decided to check out the Cayman Islands. We've been to many beautiful destinations, but the Caymans topped them all!!! We found this Condo using VRBO.com and were not sure what to expect. WOW, we were very impressed, it was easily the nicest condo we've ever stayed at, and that says a lot considering all the places we've been. The reasons for this are listed below: 1) Cleanliness: This condo was as clean as you'd EXPECT someone's home, didn't even feel like a rental. All the sheets, towels, floors, tile, exterior porches etc...were in perfect condition. 2) Convenience: The condo offered all the conveniences of home, like comfortable furniture, flat-screen, dvd's, cooler, wine, great beds, cookware, zip-lock baggies, towels, washer,dryer, etc... 3) Secluded: Located in a private condo villa, literally 30 seconds from the beach! The pictures do NOT do it justice, it's amazing!!! From the beach you can NOT see any other condos, just your complex and foliage and trees on either side. Truly impressive, where else do you get that? 4) Location: The location was great, not on the busy 7 mile beach stretch, but an easy 5 - 10 min. drive to everything. Grocery stores, restaurants, tons of other beaches, Turtle Farm, Hell, Dolphin Experience, etc...We love getting away from the busy buzz of main street, but being close enough that it's not a hassle to go there when we're feeling up to it. 5) Owner: Finally, the owner is amazing. She was willing to help us in any way we needed. She has access to everything you could ever need and has many contacts on the island to help make your dream vacation a reality. Booking and paying was easy, finding the condo was simple, gaining access to the condo was just like arriving home. Again, we travel a lot and this place tops them all, we'll definitely be back, and we never go back to the same place twice!!!   We had a fantastic time in Grand Cayman. The condo was beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed, including coolers to take to the beach. The location was great, away from the Seven Mile Beach crowds, and right next to the park for long walks along the beach. Dee was very helpful with recommendations and available if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

  What more to say!?! this condo and the owners out did all our expections! The pictures really don't do it justice. We travel to GC several times and stayed at or toured other units but this is where we will return to. The views are stunning, the location just secluded enough to be the quiet, private oasis we search for yet just close enough to town to be easily accessible for all our needs. No detail was over looked, from the abundance of thick bath towels to the cooler for the beach. Not to mention the cooks kitchen! We love to cook and found it stocked with every tool we could want and then some.How can you beat enjoying dinner out on one of the many balconies under the stars, over looking the sea? High End all the way! Or when the mood hit, a stroll across the street to one of the best restaurants on the island. The owners are an email away and very responsive to any questions and the complex mgr is also there to answer any too. The highest compliment I can give is to say I would recomment this condo to family and already have! We started planning our return before we left!

  Many, many thanks for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful apartment. We had a fantastic time. The location was perfect and the people really friendly. We all loved the pool and the beach. There were lots of fun things to do and all easily accessible. The peace and quiet on the Villas Pappagallo complex was just heaven and just what was needed for ultimate relaxation. The Villa really was home away from home and had everything we needed and more! Thanks again.

  My wife and I stayed at the condo July 27-August 4th. It was better than described. There are great views from all four balcony's and the unit was equipped with everything needed for our stay. The best part is the location. It is only a few minutes from all the action of Seven Mile Beach yet it secluded and quiet. The beach is sandy and there are plenty of beach chairs in front of the ocean and by the pool. It is directly across the street from one of the best Italian restaurants and within a two minute car ride to DiveTech, one of the islands best Scuba operators. The condo owners were great too. There was plenty of communication and they helped with restaurant and activity recommendations. We will stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

  Our stay here was amazing. The complex and condo were well maintained, and just far away enough to be serene, yet not so far that we couldn't easily drive to the supermarket or drug store. The condo was beautifully furnished. The pool and beach were very child friendly and we had a lot of fun!

  We stayed in Pappagallo beach condo in January of 2012 with my husband, baby girl and my parents in law. First of all, I would like to say that Grand Cayman Island is the most incredible place we have been to in the Carribean, even though have have traveled extensively to most tourist islands. The beaches are breathtaking, the locals are super-friendly. It is very safe to drive, the locals are very gracious and patient to foreigner drivers, in fact, we felt extremely safe driving with our baby daughter. The food quality is up to North American standards. The restaurant across the street (Papagallo) serves the most delicious Italian dishes and has parrots. The condo greatly exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice in terms of peaceful tropical atmosphere and gorgeous scenery. It is very spacious with large rooms and STUNNING views from the balconies. The owners have taken care to make sure the guests have everything they need during their stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space for everyone to lounge around. The property is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The owners are very nice and helpful in answering all of our questions and addressing any concerns we had. The Papagallo beach is extremely beautiful and private, in the week that we stayed there we only saw other people a few times. Most times we had the beach and pool area to ourselves. I snorkeled from the dock and saw incredible tropical fish and coral. If you are looking for more action, world-famous 7-mile beach is just a 5-10 minute drive from the condo. At 7 mile beach, there is volleyball, sea-dos and other beach activities. All in all, we had an unforgettable experience. Everything about our stay was perfect, we are definitely coming back to Villa Pappagallo!

  We recently stayed in this beautiful condo and were more than happy with everything about it. We contacted the owners on short notice and they bent over backwards helping. They FedExed the keys to us as the departure date was so close, gave us many great tips for the island, sent us an island map, and were very quick to answer emails. You will not find a cheaper 2 bedroom condo in a fantastic location anywhere on the island. The condo is very tastefully renovated, best I have ever stayed in while in the Caribbean, and had much more than the average condo for kitchen implements, towels, electronics, and balconies. They even had a very nice cooler bag for renters to use. We took advantage of this every day. This truly is the comfort of home while vacationing; you will want for nothing. Yes, this condo is a short 5 minutes away from 7 mile beach, but you are on an equally beautiful beach with no people around. The location is on a beautifully unpopulated portion of the NorthWest beach. My wife and father walked on the beach for 3 hours one morning and saw very few people except for a couple locals who were very friendly. The locals happily chatted them up and taught them about the national Park they were in. We only ever saw 2-3 people on the beach in front of the condo...most of the time no one was on the beach. I am an avid snorkeler and diver and if at all possible will spend hours a day in the water. I snorkeled all over the island (from shore) and by far the best snorkeling was off the Pappagallo dock. The variety of fish (including rays, scorpion fish, octopus, barracuda, and dozens more) was endless and the variety of coral was the most diverse I saw for the exception of when I went diving. I was the only one snorkeling off this point the entire time I was there. If you are looking for a well priced, beautifully decorated, everything you could ask for condo, in a quite but super close location to the much more touristy 7 mile area THIS SHOULD BE YOUR CHOICE!!! To put into context that we are not first time travelers we have traveled all over the Caribbean, US, Europe, and Asia. My father has already said he would like to bring my mother back to this condo, and if we ever get the chance to go back to Grand Cayman we will definitely be contacting these owners to stay here again.
