We were here over Thanksgiving with our 4 children. Home is wonderful. It was clean, and inviting and very charmingly decorated. Kitchen has everything. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed. Grocery store, Wal-mart, restaurants are all very close to the home. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. The kids loved playing down by the lake. Even though it was low this time of year there was a little creek running by the dock that the kids played in. They even caught little fish! The home is so charming and we all thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion there. There is so much to do in Dawsonville-we had no idea about the Kangaroo Conservation Center. Of course, we did some serious shopping at the Outlet Mall while the kids enjoyed fishing right from the dock. And, the Blue Bicycle restaurant is a real treat. We will definitely come again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
