    Nous étions 2 familles avec 4 enfants ( 8 en tout), tout le monde a su trouver sa place dans cet environnement magnifique, calme et d'une beauté rare. Tout le monde a adoré la piscine aussi bien la journée que le soir. L'accueil de Jay a été parfait, toujours à notre écoute et a su répondre à tous nos besoins ( réservation de notre sortie snorkeling sur les iles, ballade éléphants, réservation du mini bus pour le retour .....). Jay tient un restaurant en face de la maison, on peut le dire, ce petit resto est devenu notre cantine.... c'était succulent et tellement abordable. Merci à sa femme qui cuisine si bien.. Merci aussi à la femme de ménage qui passait tous les jours avec tellement de discrétion. Tout était toujours impeccable. Pour la plage, il est vrai qu'il y a beaucoup de cailloux et donc difficile de se baigner à marrée basse. Mais aucun problème pour le snorkeling, surtout avec les 2 canoes mis à disposition. Pour les plages de sable blanc, nous prenions un taxi et nous y étions en quelques minutes. Pour le couchage, il nous semble important de préciser que l'une des chambre n'est pas dans la maison principale. Et donc un peu isolée, ce qui peut être un avantage mais aussi un inconvénient. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement cette villa , où notre séjour restera inoubliable sur cette belle ile de koh chang .... MERCI ENCORE A JAY

    Es war meine schönste Zeit in Thailand in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und es wurde uns von Jay und seiner total netten Frau jeder Wunsch sofort erfüllt. Es war schade, dass wir nicht noch länger dort bleiben konnten. Ich wollte eigentlich gar nicht mehr von dort fort. Wir haben das Haus mit 5 erwachsenen Personen bewohnt. Das Haus selbst, der gute Hausgeist "Nue", die immer alles unauffällig säuberte und unsere Betten machte und nicht zuletzt natürlich Jay mit seiner zuvorkommenden, hilfsbereiten und absolut freundlichen Art machte diesen Aufenthalt für mich zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Auch die von ihm organisierten Transfers haben alle pünktlich geklappt. Er ist absolut zuverlässig. Mit seiner Frau und seinem Team wurde uns ein spektakuläres Barbeque zubereitet. Einfach ein Traum. Zur individuellen Thai-Massage kamen zwei sehr nette Thai-Frauen und haben uns alle der Reihe nach ordentlich durchgeknetet.     Nachdem wir uns schon einiges in Thailand angesehen hatten, landeten wir endlich in "unserem" Traumhaus. Jay und seine liebenswerte Frau haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, alles ist sehr geschmackvoll im thailändischen Stil eingerichtet. Der Pool war sehr einladend und dazu noch der atemberaubende Meerblick. Täglich wurde das Haus vom freundlichen Personal gereinigt und auch der Garten und der Pool wurden täglich gepflegt. Jay hat uns quasi jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, seine Frau kocht hervorragend und wenn man mag, kann man sich das Essen sogar in die Villa bringen lassen. Wenn man nicht möchte, müsste man keinen Finger rühren. Die Zeit in der Villa war für uns die schönste von unserem Thailand-Aufenthalt, obwohl es uns an anderen Orten auch gut gefallen hat. Wenn es irgendwie geht, werden wir ganz sicher wiederkommen! Wir können das Haus und seine freundlichen Betreuer nur weiterempfehlen! Danke, Jay!

    Habe so etwas noch nie vorher erlebt! Es War einfach nur traumhaft!! Dort hat wirklich alles gestimmt! Sowohl die Villa, wie auch das ganze drum herum. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt! Ich kann es einfach nur weiterempfehlen und würde keine Sekunde zögern dort wieder meinen Urlaub zu verbringen! Es gibt von meiner Seite absolut nix negatives zu berichten. Obwohl von morgens bis abends das Personal am Anwesen Pflege betrieb, hat man es so gut wie nie gesehen und fühlte sich somit total ungestört. Jeden Abend konnte man an seinem Privatstrand den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Auch für die Verpflegung war gesorgt: Der super Bestell- und Bringservice von thailändischer und europäischer Küche gehörte auch mit dazu. Ein eigenes Häuschen, welches als Küche diente und immer einen vollen riesigen Kühlschrank, der täglich kontrolliert wurde, gehörte auch mit dazu. Und wenn man mal Lust hatte was eigenes zu kochen... kein Problem! Die Küche war voll ausgestatten und das dreckige Geschirr war auch am nächsten Tag immer wie von Geisterhand gespült. Also für alle die mal mehr als nur Luxus und dazu eine traumhafte Ambiente erleben wollen, ist dies genau der richtige Ort. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle auch nochmal für die herrliche Zeit und dass es uns an nix gefehlt hatte! Thank you so much!

    I cannot believe my vacation of 9 days at the villa had magically flown so quickly. I arrived in the afternoon. The house was fully prepared nice and clean. My room faced to the pool and the beach. What a view to wake up for! I love every single detail of the house decoration, although, my favourite spot was the infinity pool. I could live in there. It gave me the feeling of swimming in the ocean besides, there were no fish swimming next to me ;) I also loved the food from Sanae's restaurant which belongs to Jay, house manager. Actually we could just walk there, but it also can be delivered to the house! Stir-fried chicken with basil leaves and well-done fried egg over rice was my usual. :) Thanks to Jay for his graciousness, Jow for a home-made yummy food, a housekeeper for cleaning up my mess, gardeners for keeping the garden so gorgeous and thanks to the house owner for sharing this amazing spot with us. I cannot wait to come back!

    voila quelques semaines maintenant que nous sommes rentrés de koh chang et a vrai dire cela nous manques déjà.Voilà plusieurs années que je viens en thailand et koh-chang à su pour le moment préserver cette île du tourisme de masse(c est koh samui il y a 20ans). La villa est superbe et très bien située,toutes les choses nécessaires se trouve a moins de 5 minutes avec motobike.Le cadre est somptueux (malgré la saison humide)la maison est très bien équipé ,vraiment rien à redire.La plage est jonché de cailloux (sandale obligatoire)se qui évite tout passage de touristes,donc la tranquillité est préservée.Pour les plages de sable il ne vous faudra que quelques minutes avec un taxi pour vous y rendre et les routes de koh-chang sont à elles seules une attraction.Le personnels de maison sont a votre service pendant toute la durée du séjour et aucun reproche à leurs faire tout à été impécable. merci à JAY et son épouse pour l’accueil.Jay possède un petit resto pas loin de la villa (thai et européen food)et vous fera même le plaisir de vous livrer la nourriture a domicile. J'espère très prochainement retourner dans cette maison pour d'autres vacances.

    This is a beautiful, well appointed house with spectacular views and ambience. It is surrounded by a well kept grounds. and one of the few villas for rent in Koh Chang. It is a top quality, tastefully designed and decorated house that caters for outside living, and in this location you can see why. The bathrooms are exquisite. We enjoyed our stay here very much, the wonderful pool and garden, volleyball and canoeing, but swimming from the rocky beach is challenging. The main get-together area is very Thai with no chairs as such so be prepared to get ethnic. Everyone involved are very helpful. It is centrally located on Chang so you get get around easily. Enjoy your stay it will not disappoint.

    I would like to thank all the staff at this wonderful house and 'Jay and Jow', the house manager and his wife the chef who made our stay so beautiful. My husband and our 3 children, 8,12 and 14 stayed here for 1 week and did not want to leave. The house itself is a perfect retreat for families, young and old, who are looking for some privacy and also giving easy access to the resorts of White sands beach and Klong Prao. Koh Chang is a large island that still possesses the charm of the idyllic tropical islands that my husband and i once travelled many years ago. The beaches are still in beautiful and the waters around the island are clean and have an abundance of tropical reef life present. I myself am a great diver and i enjoyed a dive with my eldest son, courtesy of the recommended dive school, the day was amazing. The house is clean and tastefully decorated, the cleaners are discreet and very helpful and the gardeners keep an amazing array of tropical plants for my husband, a keen amateur photographer, to photograph. All in all our stay here was wonderful, charming and peaceful. We wish that we could have stayed longer as we all came to love the food , the people and the surroundings... A real home from home!!!

    This villa was simply fantastic and I would recommend it to ANYONE! We were looking for a destination between Australia and the UK for a group of friends to meet in the middle. We searched the internet and found this place, it seemed too good to be true! Worried that the photo's couldn't possibly live up to reality we checked the reviews and they all sounded so great we went for it. I'm so glad that we did. Its all true! It is an amazingly private and gorgeous villa, its located at the quieter end of the island near White Sands which suited us every other night, and its only 100 Baht each maz (you can get a better deal if you have a larger group and want to haggle) down to Lonely beach if you want to party. Jay the manager of the villa and his amazingly talented chef wife run a restaurant just near the top of the driveway (about 500m away) they will bring you food, BBQ you food at the villa, get anything and organise every thing you could possibly want! They are truly welcoming and gracious hosts. The villa does have a small kitchen, not really designed for doing much cooking in, but then when the food is so cheap and tasty everywhere there's no need to cook at home. There is tea and coffe making facilities and a fridge for your own personal use, so you can make breakfast or a sandwich if you want. There is also the wonderfully well stocked bar fridge, that is the same price as drinks anywhere on the island the magically refills itself over night! The only problem with the villa is that you don't want to leave it! If your disciplined you might be able to get out and enjoy some days away from the pool, you've been warned! The room I stayed in had some difficulties with the air-con which was frustrating, however Jay was able to get it fixed almost immediately. I'm only putting that in so that you don't think I'm only putting down the good things. One final thing to note, if your expecting to be able to lie on the beach at the villa, forget it! Its a rocky beach, that is quite hard to actually get out into to swim, although they do have sea kayaks which are fun to paddle down to White Sands (about 1/2 an hour for not very competant paddlers!) However with the poolside decking and sun loungers, who needs sand anyway. I hope you do decide to use the villa, I can't reccomend it highly enough, and say hi to Jay for me!

    As a group of 8 girls undergoing a third of life crisis we holidayed in this villa For two weeks. It was wonderful. Beautiful rooms, social area and pool, hammocks down by the sea were perfect for sleeping off the hangover. The sunsets were spectacular. Jay the manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful, the food from his restaurant is tasty and bbqs at the villa are delicious. Massage ladies can be arranged to come to the villa and jay will book and trips/diving. I would reccomend without reservation to similar groups but also families and couples. Thank you!

    We stayed at the villa for two weeks, as a group of eight girls meeting (roughly) half way between the UK and Australia. Given that this seemed to be the only private villa on the island we were nervous that it all may look too good to be true and maybe all those photos were just taken on a good day! However, the moment we arrived at the house all of these concerns vanished. The property looks exactly as it does in the pictures and is even more beautiful when you can soak up the atmosphere and the spectacular view. The villa was immaculately clean and this was maintained throughout our stay by the lovely lady who cleaned each day and changed the linen. The surrounding gardens are also maintained daily by the gardener who lives next door, so they were always impeccable. The lounge/dining area is all outside and leads straight to the poolside so the layout is very sociable for day and night. There is also a really good speaker system set up which means the whole outside area has surround sound, so don't forget your iPod! The villa is managed by Jay (who is English) who could not have been more helpful, accommodating and welcoming. He has a restaurant just a few minutes away, where his wife cooks some of the most delicious food on the island `(try the pork omlette!) and if you can't quite make the journey to the end of the drive way, Jay will deliver to the villa. They also came and cooked us a poolside BBQ which I would definitely recommend trying as the food was outstanding. The villa is located about 10 minutes from White Sands beach, which has a lot of shops, restaurants, bars & hotels or if you're looking for more relaxed nightlife, Lonely Beach is about 25 minutes in a taxi and has a great selection of beach front bars and slightly more of a back-packer feel. The villa and it's surroundings are so nice, that it was a struggle to leave the poolside during the day, although we did on one day venture on a snorkelling boat trip around the islands which was enjoyable and a couple of the girls made the most of the scuba diving. The villa is a hidden gem and there is nothing else like it on the island, I would definitely recommend anyone looking for some luxury in the sun to stay here. Perfect for a group of friends, couples and families alike. Take me back!!

    We booked this house whilst we were on the island as we wanted to look around our options first. We took a look at the other properties advertised on (holiday-rentals) Koh Chang but found them a little too far away from the beach resorts and that they also were under construction. This villa was perfect and the fact that it was fully private and did not form part of a complex like the others made us book it on site. The day we arrived the weather was gloriously sunny and it wasn't long before we were enjoying a drink on the terrace by the pool watching the small Thai fishing boats on the horizon. The overall welcome from Jay, the house manager went without fuss. The welcome fruit basket was a nice touch and we all got stuck in to the local tropical fruit. The house itself was immaculate and the views from the rooms were stunning ,we all like to read so the hammocks under the sala near the sea were never vacant, as we spent hours flicking through endless pages of fiction there. The food delivered to the house was some of the best we had eaten on our trip and the BBQ was a great compliment to the end of the days sunbathing. We stayed at the villa in March after travelling around Asia for 2 months. It was our first time in Koh Chang as we normally go to Phuket and Koh Samui which we now find too busy and not so much like the Thailand we love. Everything about Koh Chang was what we remembered of early Koh Samui when we first went to Thailand. The beaches are clean and the people are very friendly, there are lots of restaurants and especially great seafood . We scuba dived for a couple of days and wish we could have explored the reefs more but sadly we had only 1 week, the experience of the excursions and things to do were great and especially the waterfalls and the elephant trekking in Klong Son. We won't ever forget our time in this villa on Koh Chang and hopefully we will be back to thank the lovely warm hospitality of the the staff at this house, especially Jay and his wife Jow, the chef.

    We stayed here as a group of 8 friends travelling between the Uk and Australia. We decided to book a mid stop in Thailand, some of us had travelled through Asia and thought it would be fun to stop on Koh Chang as we had heard lots about it. We found the booking process was quick and efficient and the owner was helpful, it was also great to know that the house was managed by the owners friend 'Jay' who looked after all our needs. The check in was without fuss and the views from the terrace were amazing, much better than the photographs showed on the website. The backdrop of the mountains was breathtaking and its proximity to bars restaurants and shops was close enough to get to but far enough away for peace and tranquility. The house itself was very cool and had some nice touches like wifi and i pod docking station for music by the pool terrace. The maid service was very discreet and Jay the house manager owned a very nice restaurant (200m away) that served food to us at the house throughout the day and into the evening, all at very little cost. The large fridge in the kitchen was always full stocked with drinks for our use and we were happy to use this facility. All in all i would say this was a wonderful experience, something that we will remember for a long time. We are definitely going to visit Koh Chang again and hopefully to this house. Koh Chang is a great island for Thailand's tourism, much like Koh Samui was 20 years ago when we first travelled here, the beaches are fantastic, the water is clean and restaurants are in abundance.

    Thanks for a lovely stay, and thanks to Jay, the wonderful manager that did everything to make this the two best weeks of all our holydays, thanks to his wife that probably makes the islands best baguettes and the best thai food, thanks to all the poeple that made it possible to get massages, pedicur, manicure, hairdressing +++ at the villa. Thanks to the cleaner that even washed our clothes, and the two gardeners that made sure everything was perfect outside. THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY. Best Regards, Erik from Oslo, Norway

    This was a great location for a family re-union. After meeting up in Bangkok, we spent 2 weeks in this beautiful villa located on one of the most perfect spots on Ko Chang. We motored down from BKK in a minibus ( cost 10,000 baht return for 7 adults and 2 kids - cheaper than flying and we got to see something of Thailand in the 3-4 hours it took us). After the ferry crossing we transferred to a local taxi which took us to meet up with Jay, the Manager. The Villa itself, whilst not the largest we have stayed in, has been very tastefully done and if you need some peace and tranquility even as a family, this is a great place and does sleep 8 adults comfortably. The gardens however are quite extensive and make you feel that you have reached your own bit of paradise.The views of the rain forest behind it and from the shoreline up the coast to White Sands beach are outstanding. I could have spent two weeks in the hammocks just looking at these views. We also tried fishing using the Villa's sea kayaks and even though the seas were rough at times (monsoon season) my adult sons and I had loads of excitement doing this- don't know what we caught because we kept losing spinners and lines until one day the rod broke and the line went with it! The seas got too rough after this. The Villa Manager, Jay, and his wife could not have been more helpful. He could arrange anything, car hire, bike hire, food, best elephant rides etc etc and he is a fascinating person to talk to having lived on the island for over 15 years. We had some great food from his restaurant and bar across the road too. Nothing was too much trouble. The Villa's staff are also really kind, warm and discreet. The island itself is beautiful - White Sands and Lonely Beach especially - it is not as developed as Samui or Phuket. All together a holiday to remember

    "In our opinion this was a complete surprise, we have travelled in Thailand for years and have never used a villa for our vacation. We chose this house because of the photos and great reviews and we were not surprised. The check in was quick and we were welcomed into the house earlier than usual. The manager Jay was helpful and had 15 years in Thailand so his Thai language was exceptional. We were later to find out that his Wifes cooking was equally as great. We enjoyed endless great meals at the house and saw some incredible sunsets whilst sitting around the pool. The house itself was a cool bohemian retreat that could be enjoyed by young and old. The staff were discreet and all our needs were met. Thank you Jay (manager) and Jow (chef) for such a lovely time. It was such a shame that we only had 4 nights to enjoy it but we are planning to go back next year for longer."

    Wow. We didn't think this place could possibly live up to the photos but it was far far better! Amazing location, complete privacy, lovely modern room and open airy eating area just perfect for chatting, eating, playing cards...all the things you want to do on holiday. The Manager (Jay) was fantastic and having his entire restaurant menu available to us at any time was super convenient and super delicious (you have to get the breakfast!) Jay also went out of his way to help us in any way that he could (including accompanying us on a pre-wedding grocery run!) Having our own private beach was pretty special and we were never lost for things to do - from sunset canoes and beach volleyball to lounging by the pool or whipping up some cocktails in the external kitchen. For the level of luxury you receive the Koh Chang Villa is a bargain. Staying here for our wedding was the best decision we could have made.

    Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

    I stayed with 5 friends at the "Villa Inspiration" and we didn't want to leave after our week....The villa is beautifully situated near the sea and has a great garden. With the option to order catering (which is the best Thai food we ever ate) you don't want to leave the house because you have all the comfort and luxury at home. Jay is the guy who takes care of the house, and us! He arranged a rental car, massages at the villa, tours and more. He's very friendly and his wife is the cook. We really felt like we were in paradise, love to come back soon!

    If you're looking for a perfect getaway with full services and activities close by, this is it. The villa has it all. It's luxorious, has picture-perfect scenes with a private beach, beautiful gardens and most importantly, a fantastic staff. We're a Finnish family with 2 teenagers. We adults enjoyed the tranquility, scenes and 5 star surroundings and the teenagers the proximity of White Sand’s buzzing centre and attractions. Jamie and Sanae are an invaluable asset to all visitors. They are friendly, kind and totally dedicated to their guests. They are also lots of fun and able to conjure up anything one can wish for activity-wise! We are ever grateful for them for the great company and all help. They made us feel right at home and we were simply spoiled with all their pampering. We highly recommend the superb Inspiration villa and Koh Chang to all our friends and Thailand fans! Thank you so much for making our holiday perfect.

    Ho passato due settimane in questa Villa meravigliosa, dotata di tutti i confort possibili, il posto più esclusivo di Ko-Chang.. Il ragazzo che la gestisce è molto gentile e disponibile, tutti i giorni fanno la pulizia della casa con il cambio lenzuola e asciugamani.. Il posto ideale dove godere di totale relax. Se pensate che in foto sia bella, quando la vedrete la troverete ancora più bella!

    This villa had everything we needed! We so enjoyed our vacation here. We were three familys on vacation together (8 adults and one child), and that was just perfect for this house. Very comfortable living and close to beautiful White sand beach. I am continuously recommending your villa to all my friends. Thank you so much for renting out your beautiful home to us and making our stay in Koh Chang so fantastic! Everyone in my family simply loved the house and had a great vacation! I would like to give special thanks to our housekeeper, who was always helpful and smiling, and of course to Jay, who was invaluable to us. We specifically appreciated the morning deliveries of fruits and bread...and of course the unforgettable BBQ Jay and his wife cooked up for us one night! Thanks!!

    A absolutely amazing a five star luxury in koh chang, everything you need a really nice pool just over looking the sea and amazing views of the tree tops in the mountains. And also amazing service Jay (the cooks husband) who was so helpful and amazing food buy him and his wife thai and western there restaurant was only across the road called sanae's i was there for a month and i still wanted to stay!!!!

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
