About: We are a family of five living in Atlanta, Ga. We love going to Cashiers, N.C. to get away from the heat of the southern summer and enjoy the hiking and all the facilities at High Hampton Inn. It is a great family getaway. There are so many children and family activities and in the heart of the most beautiful mountains in the country! You can hike all day and then go to a fine dining restaurant and feel like you are in a cosmopolitan city. Kid camps all summer long, amazing golfing and tennis. A swim lake with boats and the High Hampton Inn has bingo and games every night during the summer for family fun. It's a great place to be!
Why Cashiers:
My parents have a vacation home in the same area, we loved it so much that when an opening turned up to buy a great property here, we couldn't say no. There is so much to offer the whole family.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Great climate in the summer. There is hiking, golfing, tennis and fishing. We love eating the locally caught trout at the Orchard restaurant around the corner. Taking the kids up to the Inn for bingo and four o'clock tea and taking in the views of Chimney Top mountain and the lake. We enjoy grilling out on our deck with family and friends, going to the stables to visit the horses. The amazing Sunday lunch at the Inn is a must! We go antique shopping, visit art galleries, a few local favorites are Buck's Coffee, The Orchard, Highland Hiker and Summer Place Antiques. There are so many wonderful aspects plus you are among one of the most beautiful mountain spots in the country. The views alone are worth the trip!
