The cares of the world will totally disappear as you arrive and become part of a unique and tranquil surrounding that will revitalize your senses.
This magnificent property of 114 acres of trees, hills and meadows encircle the house which fronts a four and half acre lake surrounded by landscaped gardens. There is also a one acre pond with its own island. Streams and waterfalls run throughout the property. Sunbathe, row a boat or fish during the day --light a campfire or take a night walk and listen to the frogs and crickets. You can hike the 114 acres or the adjoining 650 acre NYC forest preserve.
The log cabin home has knotty pine wood throughout. The kitchen and second bathroom have been completely renovated. The kitchen has new cabinets, appliances and granite counter tops. The wall between the kitchen and living room was removed, creating a great room that is at once larger yet more involving. The living room contains a stone fireplace for those cool evenings. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs with an added daybed in the lounge area.The house can accommodate eight people. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds. The third has a day bed that, when opened, can sleep two comfortably. There are two full baths. The second bathrom has a new glass enclosed tiled shower and refurnished walls.
Tennis, golf, biking and antique shopping begin within a five minute drive. Attractions include: Belleayre Mountain and Plattekill ski resorts, summer concerts, Roxbury Arts Center, and Hannah Golf club, to name a few. Bethel Wood is a little over one hour away. The property is located two miles from Margaretville which has a large supermrket, hospital, stores, banks, gas stations and restaurants.
House ammenities include wireless internet, free long distance in continental USA and cable television.

What an amazing time my family and I had staying the breathtaking grounds of Tree Topp Acres. My children had the most wonderful time exploring, sledding and taking in the scenery. Not only were the grounds spectacular, but the house we stayed in was immaculate, and well equippedwith all of the necessities. The owners were extremely gracious, and helpful in the booking arrangements, and we absolutely loved the town of Margaretville. We spent 2 amazing days skiing belleayre which was only a short drive from the house. The pictures posted do not do this house and property any justice, it highly exceeded my expectations. Truly an AMAZING rental property!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This home was perfect for our family ski vacation. The house is clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is in a great location for skiing in the Catskills, especially Belleayre Mountain. This home and property are perfect. We were lucky enough to have over a foot of snow for the whole stay and didn't need to leave the property to enjoy winter fun of snowshoeing and sledding. If you are a skier you are 20 mins. from Plattekill and even closer to Belleayre. The kitchen is brand new and very functional, the open plan makes for a great family vacation or hanging out with friends. The fireplace is wonderful. The whole house is spacious and stocked with all you'll need. But even if the house was just so-so (it isn't) the land is spectacular. And in summer swimming is at your doorstep. Also, 1.5 miles from Margaretville which has, amongst other things, a great grocery store that supplies everything you'd need. To top it off, the owner was very, very helpful and easy and friendly to deal with prior to the rental. And he saved my butt when my car got stuck in the snow on the main road and had another very friendly neighbor tow us out. As soon as we turned onto the long gravel driveway we knew we were going to love this place. From the beautifully landscaped grounds to the cozy, but spacious, cottage, Tree Topp Acres (what the owners call this little slice of heaven) offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Honestly, this is the the only place my family will be staying when vacationing in the Catskills. I highly recommend Tree Topp Acres as your next home away from home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We spent a glorious week on this beautiful property. It is so well maintained and is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. This little piece of Heaven was just what we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful, yet not obtrusive. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and are looking forward to coming back again next year.
