OUr family rented this property during July of 2013 and loved every minute of our stay! The house was just as we had hoped and the location could not have been more perfect for sightseeing in the Boquete Area. We loved our stay so much that we purchased a home just down the street. The neighbors were great and the staff within the resort were the best! We took advantage of the swimming pool and spa daily! From this property you can walk to the town of Boquete and shop / dine. There are probably 40 different restaurants within a mile or two and the tours of the coffee plantations were great! We would recommend this property to anyone and look forward to spending years in the Boquete Area getting to know the folks and sights even better! The perfect home for a perfect vacation!

Beautiful Home and Community. Highly recommended!
We had an amazing stay at your house in Boquete. Loved seeing all the birds at the feeders; the view of the golf course, river and ravine. The house was very clean upon our arrival and the pictures are very accurate. Communication with owners was great! Very walkable distance to town. I would most definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Everything about the villa was exceptional and exactly as represented. The owners sent us a series of informative emails including transportation options from Panama City and the number for a local driver who speaks fluent English. They also left us a welcoming basket of cookies, coffee and hot chocolate mix...a very nice touch. We stayed a week and knew from the moment we arrived it would be hard to leave. The veranda is marvelous; the kitchen has every utensil we needed and then some; the master bathroom was beautiful. Every room was sparkling clean and well maintained. The wifi worked even better than at our hotel in Panama City. And the grounds....flowers and beautiful birds everywhere we looked...and that was during "low season". We played golf almost every day, went on a fascinating coffee tour at Katowna coffee plantation, and ate great meals in town, usually walking there and bringing a taxi back (shrimp tacos on the back deck at Big Daddy's are highly recommended). The Sabor Restaurant in the resort itself is also quite good and only about a 2 block walk. We will definitely be going back to Boquete and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The villa is truly fabulous.

Welcome to Paradise
Welcome to Paradise
The entrance to Valle Escondido says, “Welcome to Paradise.” Exaggerated puffery, right? Far from it. You may wish to redefine paradise after a few days in this lush, “hidden” valley located a short walk—or inexpensive cab ride—from Boqueté, home to 20,000 locals and expats (mostly English-speaking). We went to the tropics in the “off” season (August) to escape the summer heat of semi-tropical southern Louisiana, and were not disappointed. Morning temperatures in Valle Escondido started in the low 60s and rarely got above 80 as the day progressed. Memories of Baton Rouge and New Orleans quickly faded as we reveled in quiet moments on the balcony, peering down at the ninth hole of the golf course, the hotel and several upscale residences. In the morning an unusual variety of birds dined eagerly on our breakfast crumbs, as potted orchids awakened to the new day. In the evening the setting sun melted into the green mist of the facing hillside. Rain occurred with almost annoying frequency, but it rarely lasted long and always left the mountain air fresh and pure. We never met the owners of Casa 54 except by phone and email, but they responded readily to our needs and concerns. Unexpected contingencies were handled with dispatch. When we temporarily ran out of propane, a phone call remedied the problem within hours. Occasional electric outages were a minor nuisance, but never of long duration. Gardening, lawn care and garbage pickup were routinely and efficiently provided throughout our stay. The house is spacious and comfortable. Two couples have plenty of room to move about without stumbling over each other. The large open-air balcony provides a delightful setting for morning coffee, casual dining, or for just plain sitting. Everything here is laid back. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with equipment and utensils. The absence of an outdoor grill is the only thing we found lacking in an otherwise near-perfect setup. The premises were as depicted in the VRBO website. There were no surprises. The cool mountain air makes air conditioning unnecessary. In the security of a gated community you can sleep peacefully and tranquilly with open windows. All of the staff and workers of the community are friendly and cordial. This will readily become your “home away from home” for as long as you like—or can afford. Take a tour of a coffe plantation, sample the "Gringo Market" on Tuesdays, and dine at Machu Pichu in Boqueté.
