Need to get out of the snow and ice, rain and fog? Maui is perfect and our condo will welcome you with warm, sunny days and cool evenings in the heart of Kihei, Maui....paradise! We selected our condo because of its view and worked to remodel it into a wonderful, colorful space for you, our Maui guests. We have furnished it with those things we found important such as high-speed, Wi-Fi internet, a large-screen, wall-mounted TV with VCR/DVD and cable TV, and phone service that includes local and LD to the US and Canada free.. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, spices, a toaster oven, separate toaster, microwave, coffee maker, blender, good lighting and a large work space. The bedroom and the living room have ceiling fans which, because we are on the 'cool side' of the building, is all you need to keep you cool throughout the day and night. We are from Alaska, so we know the importance of having a wonderful get-away in Maui. We'd love to have you as guests year after year!

We've been to many different units at the Kihei Alii Kai over the past 15 years and this unit is one of the nicest. It has been recently renovated and the owners did an excellent job. The unit was very clean and everything we needed was provided. This unit had the best equipped kitchen we've every had at a rental property. I also found the owners to very friendly, responsive, and easy to deal with. I would have no hesitations in renting this unit again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We spent two weeks here in March, and are already looking forward to going back! The location is amazing, we walked to the beach every day. The condo is clean, in great shape, and has everything you need. Liz provided us with all the info we needed and was super prompt and helpful! We had a 1.5 year old with us, and she had a blast going to the beach and the pool. The condo was a great place to rest in between. Nice big TV!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.

My wife and I spent two glorious weeks here after Christmas. Everything was as represented in the VRBO listing, and Liz was very helpful providing lots of information about the unit, the complex, and Kihei. Loved our time there and will gladly return.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Cancellation policy:
Our rental agreement with you is very simple. We ask that you pay a deposit to hold the reservation as stated in the e-mail sent to you, then pay the balance by 30 days prior to your arrival. If circumstances require you to cancel the reservation prior to 60 days before arrival, we will refund your deposit. If you must cancel after 60 days before arrival, we will refund half of the amount paid plus your $250 damage deposit providing we can fill the time you have reserved. After 30 days before your arrival, no refund will be provided except the $250 damage deposit. The $250 damage deposit is collected to protect us from loss of items or breakage of furniture or other items. If you smoke in the condo or on the lanai, we will NOT refund the deposit. We will refund all of the damage deposit less the cost to replace or repair such items, except in the case of smoking which will result in loss of the full deposit. We are seriously allergic to smoke and have guests who cannot tolerate the residual smoke odor, therefore, there will be no exceptions! The condo is available for occupancy after 3:00 pm on the agreed date of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 am on the agreed date of departure, unless prior agreement is made.

Why the Owner Chose Kihei Alii Kai:
Our condo has been our winter home for five years, so we have decorated and furnished it to be comfortable for months at a time. Our children now have children so we needed more space for visitors! We live in the condo complex just next door in a larger unit, so we will be close most of the time to provide you with information about the island, recommendations about activities, and to rescue you if you lose a key or your car battery dies! We will have a back-up manager when we are not on island.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We invested in comfortable beds (the mattress on the fold-out couch is very comfortable...unlike many! We also wanted a quality, large-screen TV, plus an uncluttered work space, so we built in an office with file drawers and lots of counter space. The lanai table and chairs are lightweight so they can easily be moved indoors for dinner on those days when you have guests and need extra indoor seating. The breakfast bar or the outdoor table and chairs are our usual eating nooks!
