  Very pleasant, airy, open and sun-filled space; quiet and tranquil. The condo is well equipped for all housekeeping needs and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the lush garden setting and hearing evening birdsong. Also glad to take advantage of the close proximity to great beaches, shopping and restaurants.

  we stayed there for 12 days and had a blast. only minutes away from the beach and little shopping center. the condo had a lot of extras like boogie boards, snorkel gear, tennis equipment, sand toys for kids, and more. just a wonderful experience.

  My husband and I recently spend 13 nights at this more than well-equipped, comfortable condo. The accommodations more than exceeded our expectations and all details presented in the property description are spot on. We were so sad to leave, not just the paradise of Kauai, but the nice little “home away from home” that we had for almost 2 weeks. The unit has everything and much, much more than you would expect of a vacation rental property. The kitchen is stocked with literally everything you would need. We’re picky eaters and aren’t big on dining out so we ate “in” most evenings and only went out for a few brunches. There was not one thing that I said, ”Oh shoot, I wish they had that.” The front closet is stocked with beach chairs, snorkel gear, tennis rackets/balls, coolers, beach bags, boogie boards (2), umbrellas, on, and on, and on. You don’t get that in a timeshare! We also used the in-unit washer and dryer quite a bit and definitely could have packed lighter with that option. I don’t know what I was thinking. I’m a “pack-aholic”. I would pack less than half the next time we come. The bed was actually so comfortable that we looked at the tags on the gel mattress pad and on the pillows and I’ve found them online to buy for our own bed at home. I think we had an email from Michelle about the refund our deposit money and then a confirmation of this from VRBO before we even had unpacked at home! Just a smooth, wonderful, hassle-free process. The location of this condo is also wonderful in relation to many of the activities on this wonderful island. The owners are great people who are definitely not into this for just the money. You can tell that they truly love the island and also love to share their dream of a vacation home with others. We were provided with much extra information on dining options, activities, etc., from Michelle before and even during our visit. This condo will definitely be our top choice for any future visits to Kauai. Thank you so much!

  Our notably quiet and private little corner unit at Waikomo Streams suited my husband and myself to a tee. The home completely satisfied the essential attributes that we look for in a vacation rental home. These are: a clean and comfortable king size bed with extra pillows that are equally comfortable and odor free along with extra bedding for cold nights, appealing bathroom facilities (very clean and mold free) with lots of towels for personal and beach use, and finally, a clean and inviting kitchen with a variety of functional euipment, utentils and dining necessities in order to be able to cook and really enjoy ones meals at home, as we are accustomed to doing. Of course, everything new and modern is always a plus, but feeling comfortably at home where everything works is what counts for me. If I could wish for an improvement in this unit it would be for more inviting and comfortable outdoor furniture. I understand the new owners are in the process of upgrading and modernizing this unit in a variety of ways which will turn this already inviting condo into a real gem. I think the best affermation we could give is the fact that we have already booked a return visit to this unit for 2014 for a month.

  Pictures don't do justice! We stayed for 3 weeks (honeymoon) over Christmas vacation. I was shocked how beautiful the grounds are. When walking to the condo, you feel like you are walking through a botanical garden, with so many different plants and tropical flowers and trees. (there is even banana trees). There is also a stream that flows through the property from small pond to small pond with colorful Koi fish (the big one Charley will eat out of your hand, he is in the pond next to the waterfall rock area). I was socked that there was not more traffic with people in the condo and parking lot, especially being the busiest season, but that is a perk staying in a condo and not a hotel. We had a great parking space the whole time. The condo was big inside, had everything to cook and prepare all of our meals. From the condo we were a block from a nice shopping area, with great restaurants (I suggest Tortilla Republic) and Wednesday evenings had a farmers market with live music. Within walking distance, we could go to multiple beaches and even walk to the spouting horn. Poipu has the best weather on the island, going during winter we did have a little rain, but being in Poipu we had very little compared to the rest of the island. (and the little rain usually only lasted a couple of minutes was sure better than the negative digits that was back home in Alaska. We loved our stay and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great condo and a good price. The Lindsay Family

  Where do we begin in letting you know how wonderful a time we had and we were looking for every excuse to stay longer? Chris, our deckhand from the fishing charter we went on summed it up. He said, “It’s simple - you just don’t go to the airport”! Wish we could have taken his advice but we knew we had obligations and responsibilities at home we couldn’t ignore. Your condo was absolutely awesome to stay in and I couldn’t imagine what it would have been like had we stayed in a hotel. So nice to have a place to stay that was welcoming and very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai to eat our meals and enjoy the tropical garden scenery and listen to the birds. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was another great feature. The pool was a terrific way to end our day by taking an evening soak. In the evenings if you just follow the pathway along the condos to the ocean side you meet up with the road. Head left and within 5 minutes you are down along the cement wall where the locals and tourists hang out to watch the evening sunset. Take a beer or beverage if you like. To the right is a little cove where the sea turtles come in before dusk and you can see their heads pop out of the water. Two excursions we did and would highly recommend is the mountain tubing adventure with Backcountry Adventures and a fishing charter with Deep Sea Fishing out of Port Allen. We also hit the local farmers market near Koloa town for fresh fruits and veggies. Looking forward to our next visit in the near future and would definitely stay longer than 1 week so that we have time to see all of Kauai.

  Great value and Location! Closet full of gear for outdoor activites. snorkle Beach towels chairs and bag style beach cooler work well sunsets at Beach House resturant walk to store and nearby resturants just a few steps out the back gate. My wife and i will stay again when we return to the Garden Isle. Check in and out great very clean and nice Bed owners were great to deal with overall a good experience

  We stayed at Waikomo Stream Villas for a week. It's in a great location and is walking distance to the beach and shopping centers. The gardens around the villas are beautiful and well maintained and the pool is lovely. We would stay here again and would recommend this to friends. The condo is perfect for 2 people; it's spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and has comfortable furniture. It's on the 2nd floor and you can hear the people above, but they were quiet at night so it wasn't much of an issue. The kitchen has everything you'd need to prepare a meal or take a picnic lunch to the beach. They even have saran wrap, tupperware containers and coolers. The knives need sharpening, but otherwise all the kitchen tools were great. There are several gas grills outside for BBQing meals. The bedroom was very comfortable but is dark most of the day due to the location of the windows. The king sized bed and pillows were great and had nice sheets and quits. The bathroom is clean and spacious enough for 2 people to get ready in. There's a new shower head which was very nice, though water pressure was a little low. The lanai has a nice table and chairs to sit on but there's not much of a view aside from the lovely trees and foliage which attract lots of birds. It was a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy morning coffee. You can see the sky light up at sunset though, however, it’s lacking an outside light, so eating out there at night wasn't an option. Couple of bonus points: WiFi and a flat screen LCD TV with an HDMI cable so we could hook up our laptop and watch streaming movies. Front loading washer and dryer with a decent amount of laundry soap provided. Beach chairs, towels, and mats as well as some beach toys. Michele was great to work with. She was very responsive to emails/phone calls and made sure that we had everything we needed and even provided links and info on nearby shops/markets. We met her house cleaner, Barbara who was an absolute joy. Nearby restaurants/activities/shops that we would recommend: Tortilla Republic restaurant in Kuku'ula Village, Brennecke's café for lunch or breakfast, Keoki's Paradise restaurant had amazing fish. For groceries we found Kukuiula market on Poipu Rd had lots of organic items and was less expensive than Living Foods Market. Big Save in Koloa was also great. Beaches worth visiting: Baby Beach, Maha'ulepu beach and Gillian's beach were the best. The National Botanical Tropical Gardens is a must see.
