  First of all to Chris thank you again for everything. We had a great time in paris. By the way my son really love your unit. For recommendation. I would definitely recommend to my friends or anyone who want to be in a real parisian neighbourhood. Good location close to the metro, velib bike stations and a walking distance to everything. This unit are suitsble for two to three people, a family with one small child or a seniors. The unit is on the main floor and the good thing is I don't have to haul the suitcase up staircase. I love the little kitchen in the unit (nice to be able to make a small meal sometime). The shower is good and plenty of hot water. I would stay her again. Jazz

  First off, Christophe was very easy to communicate with. He replies to emails very quickly. He also answers all your questions to help you with your inquiry. This flat was perfect! Everything on the description is correct. The pictures as well just show the true state of the apartment. I was greeted by Christophe's wife Angélique in front of the apartment. She explained all the ins and outs in the flat. The flat actually was bigger than I thought. The pictures did not do the flat justice. I was impressed when I first walked in, even after seeing the pictures. The bed was very comfortable. It snowed for about 2 days when I was in Paris and I have spent half my day just lying in bed. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the real Parisian life. I definitely would love to stay here again when I do come back in Paris.

  This apartment was a dream come true!! I have stayed in countless apartments in Paris and I would happily stay again in this, or any, of Christophe's properties. In fact I may be booking one for September!! First, our arrival, fantastic. Christophe was there waiting for us, he let us in, gave us a tour of the basement where the washer/dryer lives, including a bit of the history of the building. He oriented and instructed us on the ins and outs of the apartment itself, then took us on a little neighborhood tour. And what a tour!! History, intrigue, the local economy in the fashion industry, the hip culture and multiculturalism of the area! Then the restaurants, the cafes and bars. He gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat and drink, where to hang out, where to get out daily baguette. In a word the experience was sublime! The apartment was cozy, both beds were very comfortable, the shower is a dream in Paris, the kitchen was perfect. Even the sound of the rain on the skylight was enchanting. And the sound is not a loud one in case anyone was wondering, not disruptive at all. The location was very convenient for walking or a quick drop to the metro. Merci Christophe! Very well done and can't wait to see you again!!

  This room is in the center of a courtyard with great access to the rest of the city. We stayed for a week and were content with this quiet, warm retreat at the end of our adventures. The photos are accurate as are the previous reviews. Early in our stay, the shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Christopher was there immediately to unplug the drain, clean up the overflow and provide us with a fresh set of towels. I tell you this story not because I want you to know that there was a problem but because I want you to know that if there is a problem Christophe will respond quickly and appropriately. We walked down from Gare de l'Est in about fifteen minutes. We encountered lively, multi-national Paris along the way. The neighborhood immediately to the north and east is apparently a center for Kurds which also means its a real neighborhood. All the fruit markets, the halal and not halal butchers, the cafes, the bakeries, the restaurants are places to encounter real Paris not Disney Paris. The brasserie where no one speaks English, smokes up a storm but lays down the real deal steak and pommes frites - that's basically just down the street. In the other direction - great French Restaurant Owner Theater (yes, he'll yell at you a little, and then show off his mother's aged orange peel) and the best duck confit ever! The metro - easy to walk to and from. We had to look both ways before stepping out the door on the street in the morning least we be run down by all the families taking their children to school. A great apartment in a great location with a great price!

  We stayed in this lovely apartment in late November 2012 (sorry for the late post). Christophe was wonderful, he showed us around the area, the best places to buy bread, wine cheese etc. The apartment was perfect for a couple, it was warm and felt very secure. The internet speed was good and reliable, the bed was really comfortable and the shower was great. It was exactly how it looked on the VRBO. The decor was beautiful. We would absolutely recommend this to our family and friends. The area was amazing very interesting and close enough to walk everywhere.

  Chris was prompt and professional to communicate with since the very first email. We arrived early morning and waited for him in a near by coffee shop enjoying some refershments. Chris showed us how everthing works in the studio--which was spacious for 2. He also took the time to show us the neighborhood, which was very cute and not touristy at all, with great bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets and 2 metro stops within 10 minutes walking distance. Julhe bakery had the best croissants and pastries! Few small issues we had (but did not affect our stay) were: the heater--the large one doesnt seem to warm up the room as much as the small plug in one (in cold December), but the small heater worked maybe 60% of the time; i suspect it's a safety mechanism. Bathroom was spacious but it could use a little more shelving and hooks; the shower didnt drain well initially we fixed it after pouring boiling water down the drain. All in all it's a great studio in a convenient and safe neighborhood, I'd recommend it!

  This property was exactly as was shown in the pictures, in fact, it was even larger than I expected, very clean and inviting. We were two or so blocks from the metro and was in a good location, some good restaurants just a short walk away. Christophe was very helpful and even arranged a cab for us to get back to the airport. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place and, for sure, it was a far better choice than an expensive hotel room. Also, we slept great here, very comfortable bed.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  We stayed at Atlier34 in June 2012. We were greeted by Christophe. He let us into the apartment a few hours early. When we met at the apartment he took the time to take us on a short walk of the neighborhood to show us the area. This included grocery store, metro stop (very close), good restaurant recommendations, and some short cuts. That saved us a lot of trouble figuring it all out for ourselves. The Apartment is very cozy, with the bed and sofa bed in the same room. It was very clean and had a kitchen with dishes and cutlery. Great WiFi. Excellent size bathroom with lots of hot water. On our exit day we asked to stay late and he was able to accommodate us for a very reasonable small charge. During our stay we had a few questions and Christophe was quick to respond by email or phone. I would definitely recommend this property.

  The Atelier 34 is an amazing place : great location, cool decoration and its owner Christophe is trully professional and friendly at each step of our reservation. I really recommend this place to anyone :-)

  Recently stayed at Atelier 34 for our fist wedding anniversary and had a great time. The apartment was gorgeous and had all the amenities we could need with a super comfy bed and powerful shower. The location was central with 2 metro stations close by plus an array of shops including some lovely bakeries for picking up fresh croissants - couldnt recommend it enough. Christophe was lovely provided great advice in advance. Added bonus of the apartment - free wi-fi which helped us navigate much more easily. Will definitely be in contact when we're next in Paris.
