  Hi Mandi, I have been meaning to send a note to you and thank you for the use of your home. Dawn and I felt so comfortable during our stay, everything a person could need was there. I felt like I was in my own kitchen, as we did allot of cooking during our stay. Had my parents come and visit, along with a group of my cousins I haven't seen in many years, that live in the area. Everyone had a great time playing pool and and hanging around the bar downstairs. As a kid I had the same thing in our basement, and it was so reminiscent of those times. As fate would have it, it snowed while there, and I had to practice my snow shoveling skills. Being from an island now, I was reminded why, I don't live in the snowy white north anymore. I know I could have called, and you would have had someone come and take care of that for me. Truth is I needed some exercise, to much good cooking going on.. We loved your home Mandi, and will see you again sometime. Maybe you need a Caribbean get away, give me a shout. I would love to show you around where I live.   This house is right in Elkhart Lake. Everything in town is within walking distance. Very close to the race track, Road America which is why we were in town. The house was very, very clean and had a full-stocked kitchen. Everything in the house was nice and up to date. The owner communicated with me as needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to rent a nice house in Elkhart Lake. We never made it down to the lake but it was just a short walk to the shore. There are several restaurants to choose from, not a lot of shopping but the town itself has a lot of history to it. Many towns near by with diary's to tour and purchase great cheese and chocolate milk. It was a wonderful trip and we had four adults staying in the house. Two upstairs and two down stairs. A nice front porch to sit on and enjoy all the flowers planted.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  My wife, father-in-law, and close friend had the opportunity to stay at this home for a race 'weekend' at Road America. The location was perfect - close to the track, local restaurants, and Elkhart Lake. My father-in-law had the opportunity to get up with the birds and raved about the excellent fishing, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her morning jog along the lake. The location was also very convenient to Road America. The home itself was well-maintained - even if some of the appliances reminded me of my childhood! - but everything was in perfect working order. The downstairs rec room was a blast from the past - but great amenities included a stereo, TV, and the all-important pool table. With three washrooms there was more than enough space for everyone - six people would be very comfortable. The owner was very pleasant, communicative, and accommodating - a definite plus! - and the overall experience was great. Highly recommended!

  I recently stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. The location is perfect - walking distance to everything but far enough from the bars that it is quiet at night. The house set up was perfect for a big group and it had everything we needed from beach towels, to a small cooler. The house set up would work nicely for either a family or group. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. It was comfortable, clean and updated. A nice getaway from city life.

  We stayed for the Historic Races at Road America and the Concours d' elegance at Siebkens. The home is very clean, updated and comfortable. The open kitchen, dinning room and living room is perfect for socializing. The private connected garage is a nice plus. The location is close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, farmers market, ice cream shop and coffee shop. Mandi and her staff did a great job before, during and after our stay.

  My boyfriend and his family just recently stayed at this great house in Elkhart Lake, WI for the weekend. I wanted to show them a great time in one of my favorite getaways and this house made it so easy and created such a great atmosphere for a relaxing and yet active weekend. The location of this home could not be any better. You are literally a few blocks from everything: the lake, Siebkens, the Brown Baer, my favorite coffee shop 'Off the Rail' and the newest addition to EL, the Vintage Wine Tasting shop. We spent time sitting on the front patio watching the local’s go by, played pool in the most amazing basement I have ever seen, and ‘slept in’ in great bedding accommodations. Also the owner Mandi couldn’t have been more accommodating with the speed of making a reservation. I will for sure be making a trip back to EL and the house with the Model T on it!
