The condo could not have been more accomodating. It was everything we (2 couples) needed and more. Very comfortable, roomy, clean, updated, and all in a great location. The security access was very comforting. Elevators for easy access. The only thing I missed was a balcony to enjoy the streetlife from above.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Yaay! We love knowing that our condos work out well for our guests and their guests. I'm happy that it met your expectations for your stay. We hope you will consider us again for any upcoming stays in New Orleans. We do have condos that overlook Decatur and one in the Arts District that has a balcony.

The condo is in a perfect place to visit all of the amenities of the French Quarter, Market area and Museum District. The condo was well kept and beautifully decorated. I like not having to keep up with a card key as well! The only complaint any of the 6 of us had was the garbage trucks coming thru the alley beginning at 4am in the morning on Monday morning. And only the 2 in the bedroom that backed to the alley had that complaint. Thank you for providing such a nice place to relax and lay our heads. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: We're glad you and your guests enjoyed our condo. We take great pride in providing for our guests an up-to-date style living. These condos are perfectly located for those who don't want to worry about using a car to get around New Orleans. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about noise in that alley. We do hope that you will consider us again.

Perfect location for French Quarter restaurants, events, shuttle services, street cars, etc. The accommodations were perfect, immaculate, and comfortable. The sheets and towels were high quality, and kitchen was stocked with all essentials. Amber was extremely cooperative and helpful upon our arrival and made sure our needs were met. Highly recommended and would return to this property during our next visit. Perfect size with privacy for 2 couples.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you kindly for your review. We value your comments and appreciate you choosing our property while traveling to the New Orleans area. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and will be glad to welcome you back as soon as you're ready to return!

The pictures of the rental online do it no justice. It is immaculate and very well appointed with a nice combination of modernism and new orleans-esque charm. Love the brick wall. The renters were very helpful in accessing the building and unit, and especially helpful when my friend got stuck in the elevator (which was actually kinda funny). Only downside (which was mentioned in another review) was the early morning noise from the alley just behind the building, it could definitely wake you up. But the location couldn't be better, right in all the action of the French Quarter. Would definitely stay here again. Bring ear plugs. Cheers.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: Jason- Thank you for the review. As we mentioned before the windows in the unit are historic windows. We've installed blackout curtains to help dampen the noise. We're glad you enjoyed your time in New Orleans while staying in our condos. We hope you will consider us again when coming back to New Orleans.

Great apartment in very convenient location. Furniture, accessories, flat screen smart TV in LvRm - all first class. We shared the apartment with friends and gave them the Master BdRm, which meant we gave up a huge bedroom and bath - maybe not the smartest move. The back, interior (no windows) BrRm was smaller but adequate and it had a bath en suite, so not so bad. The only con was no designated parking, and parking in a lot or garage can be expensive - but you're in the French Quarter. All-in-all, a wonderful apartment, perfectly located - great for an extended stay in the Quarter.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for such a positive review. I'm glad that even though you gave up staying in the Master Suite you enjoyed the layout for the guest bedroom which is still nice enough and has great closet space. I hope you and your guests will consider us again in the future. We do enjoy having repeat guests.

Upon arriving at the beautiful condo our family was very excited to be spending a weekend in such a lovely home. We loved the way it was decorated and the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were appointed with upscale furnishings. Clearly professionally decorated. The building felt quite safe with a passkey needed to enter the lobby and then another to enter the unit. As we unpacked after a long drive and settled down to relax, we noticed something to our surprise. The noise outside came directly into the unit through single pane windows in wood framing (many decades old that "almost" fully closed) that prevented no noise suppression. It was as loud and clear in the apartments as if the windows were left open. This posed a problem for sleeping at night, as the people walking the streets in the French Quarter in the middle of the night tend not to be quiet sober people. So each night of sleep (or lack there of) was disturbed by car noises, garbage trucks emptying glass bottles from steel dumpsters, and the occasional congregation of drunken groups just outside the window. We actually had to call 911 to have the police come and disperse a group of people partying in the back alley with a high performance car stereo blasting on top volume. Fortunately the police responded quickly and it was soon quiet...until the garbage trucks, ship horns, and others passing by continued the audio onslaught. It was a real disappointment because the building, unit and furnishings in the unit are top notch. The unit might serve a group better that plans on partying all night and not needing any sleep. If you are in a group that fits this description, make sure you grab the room without windows and let your friend (enemy?) stay in the room with windows. We were also surprised to find that our security deposit was not fully refunded as we were charged for replacement of a missing ipod charger/player. Since we did not take it, and the owners see it missing, the only plausible conclusion is the cleaning crew that entered the unit (after we left and the owners arrived) got a little extra "gift" for their efforts. So make sure to meet with the owner prior to departing. We look back on our trip to New Orleans with very fond memories. We loved the city and the location of this unit is absolutely fantastic. Close to everything, safe, well appointed....but ohhh that horrible noise. If only the owners could find the time to replace the windows, they would have a true gem.Recommended for: Adventure seekers
Owner response: To address the issue with the windows; they are original historic windows. They are not reproductions and we cannot do anything to alter these windows aside from adding the blackout drapes we have on the interior. The issue with the iPod Alarm clock. It is unfortunate that we cannot fully determine what has happened to it. During your stay you told us you did move it at some point. It is more than likely that it had accidentally been mixed in with your belongings and was packed and inadvertently taken with you. If you happen to come across it please call or email us and let us know, we can then send you the remainder of your deposit. As for our cleaning crew, we have been using them for the past year. We've never had one incident of theft claimed against them. In fact, they return items to us that our previous guests have left behind before we get phone calls stating they've left them. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience, you seemed to enjoy your stay while you were here.

My girlfriend and I just stayed here with another couple to celebrate the New Year. The unit is even nicer and more spacious then we thought from the pictures, and the location is great. I highly recommend staying here. The only issue I could possibly see with this place is that at times the master bedroom can be a bit noisy because of action in the alley. It was not an issue for us, but might make sense for the owner to install double pane glass in the two windows in the master bedroom to ensure this is not an issue for any renter.Owner response: Thank you for such a great review. We are looking into ways of sound proofing the windows that overlook the back alley. I'm glad to know this didn't affect your stay with us. We hope that you will consider us for any future stays you take to New Orleans!

Remarkable unit and location! Very conveniently located to all French Quarter and riverfront activities, as well as most of the restaurants and bars in the CBD. We were markedly impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the VRBO and it's interior. We also felt very safe-- absolutely no concerns there. All "sundries" were provided including high quality linens, coffee & creamer, and detergents. The beds were comfortable. Our only concern, as has been expressed by others, was the street noise. Solely in the master bedroom, the noise from the street was impressive at times. We loved the unit and would definitely stay there again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are delighted that you enjoyed the condo and all the amenities we take pride in supplying for our guests. We do acknowledge your remark regarding the noise issue. We are fixing the issue as we write this back to you. We are putting up black out curtains and this will prevent the street noise. I'm glad you will consider us again when you come to visit. We love having recurring guests.

The apartment was fabulous.... everything high end an luxurious - the pics truly do not do it justice. Unfortunately, the king bed broke twice during our stay but the managers could not have been more responsive and accommodating, to the point of moving us to an even more gorgeous condo for our last night which they comped to make up for any inconvenience. This location was right on the edge of the Vieux Carre so could not have been better situated. We enjoyed so much fabulous food with the highlights being dinners at Restaurant August, Bayona and So Bou (two of us are in the hospitality industry so can be a little picky) as well as a fun meal at Irene's. We even experienced the Hookah Bar down the street where we puffed a bit and danced for hours. What else but a cemetary visit as well as beignets and chicory coffee at Cafe DuMonde to make the trip complete. I would unreservedly recommend this property to anyone wanting a genuine NOLA experience with all the comforts of home and none of the responsibility. Oh... forgot to mention, we left an expensive watch which was found and mailed back before we even knew it was missing. Laissez les bon temps roulez!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. We have taken corrective measures to insure that the bed is not an issue again, thank you for being so understanding about the situation. It sounds like you not only found the well known restaurants but a few of our lesser known (and often more entertaining) hideaways. This condo is in such a centrally located area of the French Quarter the exploring is endless. We would love to have you stay with us again anytime!

great place to stay. close enough to action in french quarter and downtown convention center to walk everywhere. place is not noisy because it is off to the back side of the street not in the front where house of blues is. beautiful and luxurious. all the amenities. even has an aero mattress that we used one night when a friend ended up crashing for the night - better than sleeping on the couch.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I love the layout of this unit, it is spacious while still being homey. I'm glad that with the blow up mattress you were able to fit the max allowed which is six people. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay and this unit was able to fit your needs. I sincerely hope that next time you decide to come to New Orleans you decide to book with us. Thanks again for the positive review.

Everything was perfekt. In the night it was a little noisy but therefor you are directly in the french quarter.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for coming all the way from Germany to stay with us! It can get a little noisy in the French Quarter, that is the only problem with being so close to all the fun. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and we look froward to having you stay with us in the future.

Great location, everything is like brand new. You feel like you are the first person to stay in this condo. Street noise can be annoying, but its worth it to stay in this great location. Felt safe the whole time.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed in this lovely condo for a week from May 4-11. The condo was gorgeous, gourmet kitchen, nicely designed, comfortable beds, beautiful wood floors, exposed brick walls and nice flat screen TVs in living room and each bedroom. It was as described and even more beautiful than the photos. The building was very secured and is ideally located with numerous restaurants, shops, etc. all within walking distance. Everything was first rate and we had plenty of room and privacy with the 2-bedrooms, 2-bath. I have rented many times from VRBO and this was one of the nicest placest we have stayed. Our only minor compliant was that it was noisy at times at night as you could clearly hear the street noise. However, the bed was so comfortable that we quickly fell back to sleep. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the French Quarter.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so happy you and your guests enjoy your week long stay with us. This is by far my favorite unit in the building. The sounds of the city turn into white noise, especially the river traffic. I hope when and if you decide to come visit NOLA again you will think of us. Thank you for the positive feedback of your stay!
