This spacious 2 bedroom, ground floor condo is the best value for the dollar at Barona Beach Resort! Located on the ground floor, you are but steps away from the beach and the pool! With room for 5 to sleep in the bedrooms, plus a sofabed in the living room that sleeps another 2 people, there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy all the amenities that Barona Beach has to offer. During the day, saunter out to the beach or the pool and go for a dip, and as the day folds into its end, sit on the private beach and enjoy the sunset, before strolling home to sip margaritas on the large outdoor, ground floor patio. (Because the suite is on the ground floor, the patios are twice the size of others on higher floors!) The kids, tired from all the sun and swimming, can enjoy a DVD or one of the movies that Netflix offers on the Apple TV (that is included), while you enjoy a BBQ dinner and sink into the plush, comfortable sofa. Enjoy a glass of wine from the bottle you picked up the day before at the local wineries, Mission Hill and Quail's Gate, that are a few minutes drive down the road from Barona Beach. Discuss with your family the golf game you have planned at one of the local golf courses close by... welcome to holiday heaven!
And by the way, just when you didn't think it could get any better, this secluded, private getaway on the lakefront is a ten minute drive inland to every convenience you could imagine...the Real Canadian Superstore (Loblow's), Winners, WalMart, etc
This unit is about a 20 second walk to the beach and pool (click on this link to see how close the beach and pool are to our suite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A31yjWg17Oc) however it is extremely peaceful and quiet once you are in the unit, as it is far enough away from the pool that you don't hear any of the noise all day. This is an extrememly family friendly development, where the pool and beach are buzzing with activity in the summer. Prepare to make new friends! Meet them at the beach later on in the evening to roast marshmellows in the stone-surround firepit, and if you have a guitar, bring it and siing some camp songs! the kids will love it! The beauty of this unit is that it is close enough to the activity of the pool and beach to be just a short walk away, but far enough away that it is extrememly quiet and calm in the unit itself. Sit on the extra large patio and enjoy your glass of wine while you listlen to the chirping of the birds in the lush line of trees beside the unit.

Good weather, good location, good condo. Beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed having access to all the movies on Netflix. Property is well maintained, amenities are very good. Our family was very happy with Barona Beach in general and the condo itself. Owners were pleasant to deal with and very efficient and organized. Was great to be able to rent a boat slip steps away from our condo.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Fantastic spot to stay! The condo was great, ground level, close to the pool and beach. The private beach is wonderful, and the pool and hot tub were everything you could ask for in a holiday rental. The 2 bedroom condo was great, the bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom were a big hit with the kids. It's so nice to be able to just show up with your bags and have everything you need to live right there at your convenience. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We stayed at the suite in Barona Beach this past summer for a week in August. To say that it was wonderful is a complete understatement. We have 2 children who played in the pool and on the beach all day, every day that we were there. They made loads of friends and were so tired at the end of each day from all the sun and swimming that they practically passed out in their beds, leaving the adults time to relax with some peace and quiet. The suite itself was perfect for us. It was clean, well furnished, and had everything a family could need for a holiday, right down to the popcorn maker. Most nights we BBQ'd on the grill outside, but the kitchen was well equipped for regular indoor cooking. The kids loved the bunk bed and the fact that there was a second TV in the master bedroom with its own movie selection allowed us to keep everybody happy with entertainment at night time. The mattresses on all the beds were extremely comfortable, and the outdoor deck was nice and big. The location is really great. We went for a big grocery shop at the beginning of our stay, but popping up to the main drag (with its hundreds of stores) to pick up bits and pieces was a breeze. We look forward to staying here again, it had everything we needed in a holiday home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with. She was very informative and helpful in answering all our questions. Our stay was relaxing and quiet. Security is a definate bonus as the resort was patrolled by security on regular intervals. There were no annoying neighbours or loud partiers. We were there for Canada Day and were able to enjoy our day without any loud disturbances. The resort is very family friendly and orientated. Residents and vacationers at the resort were all very respectful to one another. The pool area is well kept along with the rest of the property. If anyone is looking for a nice quiet getaway this is a great place to stay. The owners condo was beautiful. It looked exactly like the pictures. Spacious and very well looked after. I would definately recommend this property to friends and relatives.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Kelowna:
We chose this property because it is right on the beach, and the resort is gorgeous. Our particular suite is very peaceful and quiet, with the pool and beach still only seconds away. Our children have met dozens of other kids that they now look forward to playing with every summer.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This location is fantastic because although it is right on the beach, it is just a 10 minute drive away from all the conveniences you could ever want in shopping. From Superstore, Walmart, Home Depot, huge dollar stores, clothing stores, delis, starbucks, fast food places... the list is endless. So many options for busy vacationers who want options for dinner! Also there is a HUGE play palace close by (behind Walmart) for the kids to blow off steam if they want a break from all the sun and swimming! Not to mention the wineries and golf courses...!
