Master bedroom with Queen and private bath, guest room with Queen and adjoining door to hall bath. Additional 2 twin beds in open bonus alcove off living room. Linens are provided. 4 cable tv's. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge with ice maker, coffee maker, blender, toaster and a great selection of pots/pans and all you'll need to create your own fresh seafood feast or lazy breakfast in bed.

We rented this last minute for Thanksgiving weekend. The rental agency was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is directly on the beach, and I mean directly -- like 5 steps between the house and the water. Kitchen was very well stocked, and the house was nicely decorated and comfortable. There is a grill that is usable, but not superb. And the only real negative is that the beds are extremely firm -- to the point that we couldn't wait to get back to our own bed and that it would keep us from doing a week long rental. If you love firm beds, then you'll be fine. You do need to bring your own linens and towels. The island is gorgeous -- very primitive and natural. There is a nature preserve, a fort, and the west end of the island is essentially a completely natural beach with no development. Really beautiful. We will definitely visit Dauphin Island again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
