  Thank you John for a lovely weekend! Traveling as a group of 5 colleagues, your home offered the perfect launching point for wine tasting, pool side lounging, excellent dining experiences and some much loved R&R. The homes description is modest relative to what we were delighted to experience: fantastic yard with bocce balls available, lots of lounge chairs around the pool and an outdoor dining table. Open kitchen, dining and living area with a large TV and great movie selections! Games, movies and a piano for those that are musically inclined. Its the little touches that make any vacation home a relaxing retreat, and this home has them all! The home is well maintained and very clean. John is a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed, making recommendations for running routes, dining options and wineries near by. (I think he would have offered a fine golf course too!) The central location is just a few minutes from downtown Oliver. Central location to start from when headed to wineries from Osoyoos to OK Falls (Favorites were Blue Mountain Vineyard and See Ya Later Ranch). Looking at availability for a follow-up trip with family to enjoy this lovely property again.

  I have read the previous reviews and would wholeheartedly agree to all three! We had a lovely time! This is a very private place way up on the hill, away from everything and everybody. It was easily accessible to Oliver and all the area has to offer. We had our adult kids and spouses from all different cities, join us here for our family holiday. The pictures really do not do this place justice. The kitchen is fabulous, and overlooks the safely fenced in pool and separate patio, plus the valley from the front side window. There is even a piano/tv/lazyboy chair room off of the livingroom. Lots of games and activities supplied. Even some books to read! The two double beds in the one bedroom seemed a little cozy for our adult kids with spouses, but they actually so enjoyed the "dorm" feel and embraced it! The master bedroom is very spacious, and even has a large walk in closet, not to mention ensuite. The owners were ever so gracious and accomodating. The apricot trees also provided us with a delicious treat. There was even a fire pit on the patio which we enjoyed one night. This is an easy place to star gaze as it is away from the lights of the city, so we happened to get in an amazing meteorite shower evening as well! Thank you for such a great place! Would highly recommend!

  Have told my friends all about the house and are planning another trip for next September. We just need to pick the weekend. The house is a few minutes out of Oliver, very private and great views of the valley below. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and John stopped by to make sure all was okay. He made great suggestions about some of the local wineries (you have to go to Silver Sage Winery). The hot tub and pool were very inviting but by the time we got home we were too tired to try either. All was very comfortable and the evenings very quiet, nice not to hear any traffic.Would not hesitate to recommend this vacation rental. My daughter is also thinking of returning, this time with her husband and three children, who would make great use of the pool. And John, thank you for suggesting the back road to Keremeos. Beautiful scenery with very little traffic.

• Amazing house!!!

  We had two families stay in this house and it was perfect!! VERY CLEAN, private and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were great at keeping kids entertained for hours (not too salty either). The owner was right next door if you needed them but we felt like we had lots of privacy. I highly recommend this house to anyone. The house was more roomy and much more beautiful than the pictures portrayed. Beds were very comfortable too!! We would love to return and explore the area a little more next time...Great house!!! Thank You!!

  This is one of the best VRBOs we have stayed at to date! The property offers exceptional privacy allowing one to relax with peace and quiet alongside a serene stream and well kept gardens/yard. The listing and photos do not do this property justice! The home is spacious and very clean and well equipped with remote control air conditioning. The pool and hot tub are amazing and sparkling clean. Special thanks to hosts John and Susan who were amazingly accommodating and always friendly offering any assistance from wineries to freshly picked apricots. Even though the hosts lived next door, they did not encorach on our privacy. This location beats a highway hotel since it is nestled up in the hills of Oliver with spectacular views of the vineyards and valley. Many wineries and golf & restaurants are nearby and some within walking distance. We would not hesitate to recommend this property for any stay. Highly recommend this property as it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had! We will be back!!
