This fantastic home in the Bel Air neighborhood near El Paseo is just what you are looking for in a relaxing vacation home. Three well appointed bedrooms, full chef's kitchen, and large sunny pool area await you for soaking in the best the desert has to offer.
This home was recently remodeled with new bath rooms, new carpet, travertine floors, and a new kitchen with granite counters. It has a new 55 inch flat panel TV with sound bar in the living room and a 32 inch flat panel TV in the Master bedroom. Also, a new 400,000 BTU pool heater was just installed so the pool will be 82+, even in January.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including dishes, kitchen utensils, and condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, flour, baking soda and powder, soy sauce, mustard, ketchup, etc.). There is a gas stove as well as a commercial grade Jen Air grill out back. We also have a 64 bottle wine cooler which will be full of bottled water for your convenience. All we ask is that if you use up an item, you replace it.
This is a totally non-smoking property. That means that there is to be no smoking anywhere on the property including the front yard, back yard, pool area, etc.
We are dog friendly, but sorry no cats are allowed.

We spent a week at the house. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. More room than we thought. We did a lot of cooking and having new appliances was great. The grand kids loved the warm pool. There were seven of us including the kids. Will consider doing this again next year. Also, great location between Ironwood Park and all the shopping you would want. Our happiness was unanimous.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We have just returned from a glorious month in the desert. This was our first time in this home and we were very pleased with everything...it is exactly as represented in the photos. Very accommodating in every way with comfortable furniture inside and out and located in a beautiful neighborhood convenient to everything. This year we travelled with our two dogs and it looked as though they had as good a time as we did. There is a large, completely enclosed yard with lovely soft grass and large shade trees for the pups and a beautiful pool, patio and BBQ area for the humans. We literally lived and cooked outdoors all February! The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and also dog friendly...perfect for morning and evening walks and just a couple of blocks to Ironwood Park for picnics. The owners were very accommodating...Fred called as we arrived and again during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. We consider this rental a great find and hope to return for another long stay next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. The home definitely felt " just like home" and had all the essentials required for a great vacation. The moment we walked in, we knew we made the right decision in renting this property. This is a great house. We really enjoyed it. Also, it is in a great neighborhood in Palm Desert. Nice area and you can walk to Ironwood Park. Plenty of things for kids to do too.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I are semi retired attorneys practicing in Oregon and California. We purchased this home to have a get a way for a month in the winter and would like to rent it for the remaining season. We have tried to put everything we need in the home and you should find everything you need there too.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
This location is supurb because it is close to all the best shopping and resturants in the El Paseo area.
There is live theater at McCallam theater only 10 minutes away. There are several tennis tournaments in Indian Wells only 15 minutes away. The neighborhood is very quite and safe.
At 500 feet above sea level we are protected against the winds which can be rather severe in the winter.

This home is a great place to sit in the back yard by the pool and read, or swim and then go out to dinner at one of the world class resturants on El Paseo. There are numerous golf courses within 5 minutes of our home and a tennis club less than a 2 minute drive.
