                        Most considerate and pleasant owner. The location is perfect. Combining old Capitol Hill charm and history with all the conveniences of local neighborhood and walking distance to the Mall, museums and monuments. Several very good local restaurants. Beautiful streets and completely safe. The home itself combines originality and local history with modern conveniences. Family of 4, used to travel extensively and experienced with rental homes here and abroad, we were delighted with this find.

                      About the owner: A westerner in exile, I have lived in this house for the past 16 years. I live and work in the world of government and politics and I find DC to be one of the most exciting places I have ever been.

                      Why the Owner Chose Capitol Hill:
                      I bought my house for the great neighborhood and the sense of community I have here. I know my neighbors and this is the safest area in Washington. The Capitol Hill security stations at the end of the block are on duty 24 hours every day. They are there for very important reason but I like to think they are here to keep an eye on our neighborhood.
