A spacious well equipped very warm house which has the feel of a cabin in the woods although in reality it is slightly set back from a residential street in a quiet neighbourhood. We saw deer, woodpecker and squirrel from the windows of the house. The house was always warm and cosy, whatever the outside temperature, and we particularly liked the feel of the heated underfloor in the kitchen area especially at breakfast time. This is a great property in a great location. The house was very clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The heated floor in the kitchen is a really nice touch, wish I had that at home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

All I can say is wow. We rented this cabin for a surprise getaway for my wife’s birthday and could not be more pleased. The location was perfect, tucked away and right near downtown Flagstaff. The house was immaculate and stocked with everything from plates to wine glasses and my favorite, a waffle iron. The beds were comfortable and the view of the property was amazing. With a total of 7 people we never felt cramped. Eric and Mary were the nicest of people. They even called to make sure everything was ok and if we had any questions. The minute we walked in, I realized that the pictures online did not do this house justice. As for value, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Anything we needed was ready for us the whole week. The house was so inviting and homey. We already have trips in mind for this Spring. While I don't know Mary and Eric personally, I can see that they are thoughtful and accommodating in every way. I would recommend this house to anyone who would like to visit Arizona. Great for couples and even families who are looking for a vacation to get away but not be stuck in a hotel room. My family and I chose to spend Christmas away from our home this year. We wanted to experience a white Christmas therefore we chose this home. The place was everything we hoped for. We had an amazing time with our children. They will never forget the wonderful time we had this year in this cozy home. The house had everything we needed during our stay. We loved this place! It had everything we needed, we even had our Thanksgiving dinner there! Mary and Eric are great and were so nice and easy to work with. Would definitely reccomend this place, it was perfect for our family!Recommended for: Families with young children.

We could not have picked a more perfect house for this visit to Flagstaff. We were here this time for our daughter's wedding so there were lots of activities and lots of friends and family in town. This super convenient, warm, comfy house became the preferred gathering place between other activities. We really appreciated the very well appointed kitchen - had everything we needed plus some extras. And the open floor plan was perfect for visiting. We found the bedrooms cozy, the beds comfortable and the baths very nicely updated. All in all, a nicely decorated home with a welcoming feel. Loved that it was quiet and felt "away from it all" but was actually within walking distance of downtown. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy more mornings with coffee on the deck and late afternoons watching for deer in the back. The owners also provide a wealth of information on things to see and do in the area as well as restaurants, etc. Thank you Eric and Mary for your help and for sharing your home. We thoroughly enjoy our stay at the house. The house was neat, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with any necessary amenities. Bedrooms nicely decorated. It was like coming home. It was amazing to have so much privacy in a neighborhood setting. Great wrap around deck was nice to relax on, it was like being nestled in the woods. I would highly reccommend this property to others. We were visiting our children and our first granddaughter while in Flagstaff. It was so convenient since they lived just around the corner. Very convenient to downtown, within walking distance to grocery store. The house provided a great place for all of us to gather, eat, play games, and just relax.Did you find this review helpful? Not too big, not too small, not too fancy, not too dull-- this place was just right. The house had everything we could have needed and a few extra special touches. I could sit all day and just stare out those big windows onto the rocks and trees, or hang out on the deck watching the birds. We thought the queen and king beds were quite comfortable, but when the kids ended up in bed with the adults, we learned that the twin beds were not. They may (or may not) be okay for kids, but I wouldn't recommend an adult sleep on one. Other than that, there were zero complaints. The location of the house was terrific-- close, but not too close to many amenities. It was quiet around the neighborhood. There was a grocery nearby, it was just around the bend from Buffalo Park, just up the road from downtown, and an easy ride toward the Snow Bowl. Flagstaff is such a beautiful town with a great close community. There are endless year round events for families and couples to enjoy. You can't beat this location! Getting close to nature is so accessible. Just walk outside and you can take a trail that will lead you on a two hour loop through pine forests. Or an easy car or bike ride downtown brings you to all the shops, restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife. You can celebrate the Pine Cone Drop on New Years Eve and be back in your living room in 10 minutes....even with the New Years traffic!
