We've spent many vacations at Elkhart Lake and by far Point Elkhart is the best spot on the lake. Awesome condo, nicely decorated and a super short walk to the private beach. Kids loved going back and forth for snacks etc. We caught frogs at the pond just over the back patio after dinner and had a bon fire on one of the private beaches. Walking to dinner in town was such a throw back to small town USA even though the ice cream place was seldom open. My husband likes to run and found great paths around the lake. It's a little quiet around the complex which is exactly what we were looking for but if you want the action of the Osthoff I guess you could walk over but you're not going to get the crowds here. We'll be back for sure. Owners were nice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
