The property was excellent. We had 12 adult men - we all fit in our own beds. The pool was great. The porch / decks were excellent. I would recommend for multiple families or large groups without hesitationDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The spacious rooms were inviting and cozy. The home was clean and easy to maintain throughout the stay. The owner was just a call away if they were needed. Each room is decorated with a comfortable and updated design. The bedrooms with the on-suite bathrooms are an added comfort. This is truly an ideal place for family and groups. The layout gives privacy to each person and the comfort of the main kitchen and breakfast area is relaxing in the morning. With Charleston just an hour away, it was convenient to make many day trips. Kiawah Island has great markets and a variety of walking and bike paths. There is a walk path from the house to the ocean which is just a 10 minute stroll.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house on Kiawah was amazing. Beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. We spent the 1st week of November at the house and while we loved the beach walks - the trails - watching the dolphins feed - the deer on the trails and the golf course - reading a book by the pool in the sunshine - day trips to Charleston - we always seemed to want to be gathered in the spacious kitchen/dinning area to share a meal and conversation. The house is perfect for a group of any kind - ours happened to be 8 women from around the country who graduated from high school together over 50 years ago. If affords great gathering areas plus private bedrooms at the end of our busy days. Whatever your group dynamic - this house will fill your every need and want.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Absolutely recommend this property! The house and surrounding property were clean and well-maintained. Comfortable, inviting furnishings, nicely-decorated. Plenty of space for group gatherings, but also lots of areas to just get away for some solitary moments. Perfect for everyone. The owners were available to help, if needed. They made us feel welcome. A paved, short walk to the nearby beach was a favorite destination. Frequently spotted deer throughout the island. The little village at the entrance of Kiawah Island has specialty shops and a great ice cream shop. Easy trip to Charleston area was part of our week. The Tea Plantation, Fort Sumter, and Charleston Market were interesting spots. Highly recommend those stops. You do need a car. Kiawah is bigger than we thought. It was hard to leave after just one week. Would definitely return to this property. It had it all!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a lovely setting for reuniting with long time friends! The spacious, well-equipped kitchen is great for group meal making and easy clean up. The house is perfect for gathering around the kitchen table for early morning chats, curling up in big comfy furniture around the fireplace, partying in the dining room, lounging poolside, or retiring to the variety of well appointed, comfortable bedrooms. The setting lends itself to walks to and along the beach, watching wildlife---deer, dolphins and a variety of birds. Sunsets were. Spectacular, The proximity to Charleston made for enjoyable day trips for dining, shopping and touring. There was absolutely something for every taste. It was truly a memorable week ---one for recalling wonderful memories and making even more lovely memories.!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Whether it was coffee on the deck, relaxing by the pool, a walk to the beach, playing pool or enjoying the home, we truly had a beautiful getaway. The house was clean with all the amenities that allowed our family to relax and have fun. We really enjoyed the beauty of Kiawah with all the natural sunlight, a view of the golf course and even the deer at sunrise one morning in the backyard! We enjoyed riding the bikes available at the home to the beach, visiting the quaint Freshfields Village next to Kiawah and eating at Bohicket Marina. The natural beauty and wonder of Kiawah was on display for us as we took advantage of the walking trials with all the live oaks and Palmetto trees; seeing alligators , dolphins and seagulls; it was all beautiful! The house also gave us plenty of room for comfort, relaxing, and getting ready for activities with its available room and space. We high recommend it to anyone!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This beach trip was the best family reunion we have ever had because of this spacious and wonderful house. There was so many places for private time and group time. We had family from the lower part of the state, the upper part of the state, Tennessee and The UK. We had ages varying from 82-7. This house met all our needs. The pool was fabulous and enjoyed by all. We all walked or biked the short path to the amazing pristine beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were spacious and emaculate.. Having the linens and towels provided was an exta bonus. I can not say enough about all the amenities. The bikes, games, puzzles, and pool toys were so much fun. We rented many houses over the years and can truthfully say this was the best ever. We felt like we were in a five star hotel. I would recommend this house to anyone. My only regret was having to come home after only one week. I can't wait to go again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home is perfect for a family reunion. There is enough spaciousness for everyone, and the pool is tremendous in comparison to other homes we've rented in the past. Location is an easy bike ride to the beach, with beautiful views of the golf course behind you. It was an overall fabulous vacation home - in fact, we've already rented for 2013 and can't wait to return. Property owner was equally great - wonderful customer service. A+++ Thanks again for a terrific stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
