From the property you will enjoy open pasture views of Parker Ranch and the Kohala moutains. The home is very open making it perfect for family interaction and enjoying friends. The home sleeps 9 very comfortably. Beach toys are available for the trip to beach just ten minutes away. During the evenings you can take a brake from the sun and watch or play video games on any of the two flat screen TVs, or listen to music on the Bose surround sound system. Perhaps a game of "horse" on the basket ball court, or Bacci ball on the lawn.
The town of Waimea, only five minutes away is full of great dinning and historical sites. On Saturday mornings you can enjoy walking though any of the two farmers makes and enjoy the wonderful people of the Island and their fresh foods and and crafts they have to offer.
Waimea is the perfect vantage point for seeing the Island of Hawaii. Located about half way between the Volcanoes of the Hilo side and the fishing town of Kona, you'll find this to be the perfect home base for your vacation.

About the owner: We are a family of four with two children ages 10 & 12. We travel during the summer, utilizing VRBO's, as we understand the benefits of a comfortable home vs. a small hotel room with no kitchen. We love to entertain; our home is open and perfect for family interaction and enjoyment.
Why the Owner Chose Kamuela (Waimea):
Our home is located on the dry side of Waimea, five minutes from town and ten minutes from popular beaches. The home backs up to Parker ranch, presenting the true Waimea Paniolo (Hawaii cowboy) setting.
