“Santa Fe” is a 4 bedroom, 3-bath home with sparkling heated pool and waterfall spa that sleeps up to12 on a quiet cul de’sac street in one of the most scenic parts of La Quinta. The location can’t be beat, literally walking distance to Old Town La Quinta shops and restaurants.
This super clean luxury home is loaded with amenities. 2400 sq ft with marble floors, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with all stainless appliances, pots, pans, spices, cookware, utensils, Cuisinart, coffee bean grinder, Starbucks coffee beans, dishwasher, disposal, etc. Granite counters, stainless sinks, gas cooktop, under cabinet lighting, oven with separate warming drawer, and microwave.
4 total bedrooms: The Master bedroom suite has HDTV, DVR, a private bath area with dual sinks and vanity, an oversize custom tiled shower & a separate Jacuzzi tub with tile surround and steps. The large glass slider door takes you direct to the rear yard patio rose garden. The Master BR has a King bed plus an XL (extra-length) Twin. The 2nd bedroom has a King bed and HDTV, the 3rd bedroom has a King bed and bedroom #4 has a King bed plus an XL Twin. All beds are new, plush pillow-top models. A deluxe Queen raised-height Aero-bed is also available upon request. Bathrooms are modern and clean.
There is sit down seating at the home for 17 people total: 6 in the Formal Dining Room with beautiful marble slab table, 4 in the morning room/breakfast nook, 1 at the kitchen bar counter. Outdoors, there is additional seating for another 4 people at the back patio dining table and 2 people at the side-yard table. Plenty of space and seating for an entertaining dinner party.
The Santa Fe Family Room features a wide screen High-definition TV, DVR, Blu-Ray DVD player with Netflix and VUDU connectivity, and beverage fridge. Hundreds of TV channels can mean 2 good shows on at the same time. No problem. Record one or both on the “whole-house” DVR, accessible from any TV in the house!
The Living Room is a quiet retreat. Relax in the super-comfortable leather sofa or loveseat in front of the cozy gas fireplace and enjoy the original oil paintings and watercolor artwork. Pick a good book from the in-home library. Or play a few tunes on the baby-grand piano.
The enclosed front courtyard features a private and heated pool, a raised spa with two waterfall spillways, palm trees, beautiful flowers and aromatic plants, night-lighting, and an in-home controller that allows you to control pool and spa functions from inside the house. During the day sit back under the blue desert sky in one of the many lounge chairs by the pool. At night relax in the hot tub and watch the dancing flames in the nearby firepot.
The side yard features a table and chairs, more flowers, an herb garden with fresh basil and cilantro, plus a 'no flare up' gas BBQ grill.
The back patio “rose garden” area has a table and 4 chairs, a patio heater, strawberry patch and lemon tree. Let’s call this the “man-cave cigar lounge” area.
You’ll enjoy and appreciate the near-perfect location of this home: gorgeous mountain views, steps away from scenic hiking and biking trails, and very close walking distance to Old Town La Quinta with popular restaurants, coffee shop, wine bar, art galleries and shops.
Other amenities include 2 Elektra Cruiser-style bikes, Starbucks coffee, free local and national long distance calling, and free super-fast wireless internet. All towels and linens are included, as well as soaps, shampoos and laundry detergents. The laundry room has a washer and gas dryer, ironing board and iron. For your convenience, a wireless HP “All-in-one” scan/fax/copy printer is on-site. The yard is beautiful and fragrant with a rose garden, herb pots, strawberry patch and plenty of seating and lounge chairs.

We enjoyed our stay at the Santa Fe home. Everything was just as described in the website and even better. The owners had many extras in the house to make our trip relaxing, fun and easy. The king-size beds in all the rooms were perfect for our large group.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We just got back from a relaxing 9 night stay at this beautiful home. We felt safe and secure in the neighbourhood. We walked along the path situated right across to Old Town every morning (10 min) had a coffee in the village and walked back. Relaxed by the pool most days and a hot tub after dinner every night. The house was spotless. The restaurants in Old Town were excellent..my favorite being Stuft Restaurant where we sat on the patio with some friends. The beds were extremely comfortable. Lots more wonderful things to say about this lovely property...I would recommend this to any one. There is no dogs allowed and this was the first time we left our little girl..cannot do that again so we would love a home exactly like this for the month of Sept. that excepts little dogs..Thank you to the owners for a remarkable vacation..Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
