We recently rented this home for a week and were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The pictures online are gorgeous, but seeing this home and its views are nothing short of breathtaking! I felt like I was living in the Pottery Barn catalog - it was so well appointed. Every detail was perfect - the bed was comfortable (we only used the master suite), the kitchen was gourmet, and the view...oh the view! Every detail of our stay was exactly how we imagined and Susan was great to work with. We hosted a very small wedding (about 15 people) and had a clam bake on the beach. Everyone was so complimentary of the house. I would highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a beautiful home! The house was well supplied, clean and very comfortable. The owner, Susan, was very helpful and always available for any questions we had. She was a delight to work with. Our family has vacationed yearly on the Cape since our children were small and this was by far the prettiest home we ever rented. Our whole family, children and grandchildren, loved the breezes off Cape Cod bay everyday and being right on the beach. We hope to return again next year. The house is beautifully appointed and feels more like home than a rental. The location is perfect with the marsh on one side and the ocean on the other. very private.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: I am a full time professional engineering consultant working south of Boston. Typical of an engineer, you will find the property to be well organized and immaculate. I have owned this home since 2001 and lived in the home until it underwent a full renovation. One of my favorite things to do is share this property with family and friends. I cannot express how much joy this property has provided for all who have shared it. I have received countless compliments.
Why the Owner Chose Sandwich:
This home was purchased as a second home in 2001 and later became a full time owners residence. The home suffered a water leak which caused significant damage. As part of the repair process, the home underwent a complete renovation 2010-2011 comparable to a new construction build out. The resulting home is very recently completed and exceeds every expectation. The 2012 summer season is the very first time the home has been offered for a vacation rental.
