Sweet Tea is a spacious, newly built beach house with a PRIVATE heated pool that's just a short one minute walk to the deeded beach access. The expansive porches offer gulf views from the top 2 floors which will allow you to enjoy spectacular sunsets with privacy. Enjoy the view while you are grilling on the brand new gas grill. Sweet Tea is located in the residential community of Seacrest with miles of jogging and bike trails along Highway 30-A. 6 bikes are included for your enjoyment. This area is quiet but close to restaurants, shopping and the recreational activities of Alys, Rosemary and Seaside beaches. Just a short half mile to Alys Beach, 1.5 miles to Rosemary Beach and 6 miles to Seaside---all accessible by paved trails, perfect for biking or jogging.
The house sleeps 12 and maximum 12, it has 4 bedrooms plus a bonus sleeping room with 2 sets twin over full bunk beds and 4 full bathrooms. The master suite is on first floor with sitting area, Jacuzzi tub and a shower, first queen bed room is on first floor with private bathroom. Kitchen, dining and living room is on second floor, second queen bedroom on second floor, bathroom could be accessed for the second floor and the bedroom, third queen bedroom and bunk room are on third floor with their own bathroom.The living area on the second floor has a large flat screen TV for family movies and games and Wi-fi internet service is provided as well. The kitchen is a chef's delight with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and custom cherry wood cabinets. Dishwasher, all cookware is provided, beautifully decorated... Sweet Tea is the perfect destination for your family's special beach getaway! House is built on a cul-de-sac without any traffic. Included in rental are fresh lines, many white fluffy towels, rolling cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys for kids and a beach stroller for carrying everything. Pool is heated for Nov, March, April for free, For Dec, Jan and Feb $300 extra per week.

First vacation to the 30A area and wont be our last. 'Sweet Tea' was much better in person and much more spacious than the pictures reflect. Location was great - away from the busy areas of Rosemary, Seaside, and others but close enough to visit or even walk (Rosemary). The stroll down to beach was an easy little walk even with 2 small children. Absolutely no complaints and had a wonderful time. The house was exactly as described - wonderful! Our family really enjoyed the stay at Sweet Tea. The home was VERY clean and Grace provided some nice extras such as bicycles, pool toys, beach chairs, etc. We had 7 in our party and were all very comfortable. The walk to the beach is very minimal and the street is exceptionally quiet where the house is located. Having a private pool only for us was a great benefit as well. It was our first time to that area and the beach was amazing, the number of things to do were plentiful...all in a little beach town type of feeling. Panama City Beach is only 10 minutes away and Destin only 30 minutes, so for those that desire a slower and quieter pace with a family-oriented atmosphere, but yet want to be close enough to the big attractions, this is the place! Thank you for a great experience Grace! You have a wonderful home!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family, including two children, stayed here with another family of four and had a wonderful time. We have stayed in Rosemary Beach before, which is nice, but it is becoming overcrowded. This home is located close enough to Rosemary and Alys Beach amenities, yet far enough away so the beach is not too crowded. We vacationed during peak Spring Break time and never had a problem finding good open space on the beach, nor in the ocean. We loved the new feel to the home, the ocean views, and all the extras the owners provide, such as the private pool, five bikes, beach chairs, cooler and cart. (Bike rentals in the area can be $55-70+ per bike/per wk.). Our kids enjoyed being able to ride the bikes in the cul de sac and surrounding quiet streets. We also truly appreciated the one minute wak to the beach access trail and to the paved trail along 30A. That was very convenient, which is another reason why we love this location. Lastly, we highly recommend riding your bikes to the doughnut truck for breakfast in Alys Beach! (I think it took us 5 min.) We rode our bikes on the paved trail on 30A many times to various places. The one place we chose to drive to was Destin. It took us about 25 min. We shopped at the outlet mall and raced go-karts at the family amusement park/center. That was a blast too. We would definitely stay at this home again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We have loved visiting the Panhandle area for years. We love family biking and we really enjoy morning walks and watching the sunset on the beach. There are so many things to do for every member of the family. We are very blessed to have the opportunity to be the owner of this beautiful beach house and hope you all will enjoy this house as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION...1 minute to the private deeded beach access, 2 minute walk to the beach. The beach is not crowed at all because it is surrounded with few houses. You do not need to get up early to reserve your space. Close to nearby areas... 4 minute bike ride to Alys Beach, 6 miles to Seaside. Yet, it is so quiet and peaceful at the house that you can hear the sound of the waves. The view of the ocean will clam you and relax you.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our family takes a walk on the beach every evening together to watch the sunset. Our girls love to pick sea shells every morning. I run every morning to Rosemary Beach which is 3.1 miles round trip, a perfect 5k. I pick up fresh donuts on the way home. My husband loves to grill while drinking his favorite beverage and looking at the ocean. Every night we sit on the deck and enjoy the sound of waves. Bike to Deer Lake Park and enjoy the dunes and remember to reserve one day to take family pictures there, it is beautiful.....
