In the early 1990's my parents began taking the family to Ensenada, Mexico and Baja Beach. Shortly after they decided they wanted to build a vacation home on the beach with one thing in mind, a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. With simple goal in mind, this house was built.
Our pristine, (approx) 2000 square foot house is located on the beach just south of the cruise seaport of Ensenada.
Our house has three bedrooms and two baths, which sleeps 8 comfortably and sits upon one of the most beautiful, undisturbed, sandy beaches in all the world. Our house has all linens, a full kitchen with new appliances including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. Need to wash the dirty beach towels after a full day on the beach, head to the basement where you will find a new full size washer and dryer. The family room has a new 47' LCD TV with Direct TV access from the United States along with a DVD play and a stereo with a connection for your MP3 player.
The house is located minutes away from the famed 'La Bufadora' famous for snorkeling, diving, shopping, and one of the largest 'Blow Holes' in North America.' This is four-season paradise for outdoor lovers, winter snowbirds and warm weather vacationers alike.
Down-town Ensenada is just a short distance from the house where you will find five-star restaurants, duty-free shopping, night clubs, surfing, and sports fishing and people watching. It's a world of Mariachis, and salsa, exotic foods, culture, and it's practically in San Diego's backyard. So near, so easy, and yet so foreign. Ensenada is frequently visited by cruise ships from Princess, Carinval, and Royal Carrebiean; so can be found almost daily walking shops of Ensenada.
Our home has some of the most majextic, panoramic views the Pacific Ocean; that includes some of the most breath taking sunsets, anywhere in the world from almost anywhere in the house. Whether its taking a long walk on the beach, playing in the surf, sun bathing or simply taking in one of the beautiful sunsets; you are guaranteed to find this house relaxing. The Smith Family.

This house is a great deal, well priced for the amazing ocean front view. It's basically wall to wall windows on the west side facing the beach, which you can then see from the living room, kitchen, dining area and master bedroom (which has a west wall that is itself a window that looks into the living room, but can be covered with internal blinds for privacy). The location at punta banda is remote and feels safe. It is secluded (probably 20-30 minutes from downtown Ensenada and 15 minutes from La Bufadora), so this house is best if you are looking to spend most of your time on the beach. The beach itself is great for kids because it's long and flat, so the waives are pretty mild by the time they get to you. I went with my wife and kids (2 and 5), her parents, her brother and his wife. The house was perfectly sized for the 8 of us. The kitchen, dining area and master bedroom are two steps up from the living area, so you do have to keep an extra eye on newly walking toddlers. The glass wall on the master bedroom is not only good for the view, we put the kids down in the master bed and were able to keep and eye on them while visiting in the living room without having to whisper. The owner gives you directions and manages the process like a pro. At this price, I promise you won't be disappointed with the property. Just make sure you give yourself enough time (I recommend 4 nights at a minimum) - we only stayed for a weekend and definitely felt like we should have stayed longer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I spent a wonderful four days at this beach house in March 2013. Looking for a relaxing, calm getaway, we were enchanted with what we found upon arrival. What you see on the website is exactly what you get. The bedrooms are beautiful and all offer direct views onto the water. The back "porch" area offers a beautiful firepit for your group to spend nights gabbing away and a great grill. Good luck battling the wind! Michael was a very organized and professional host. Getting to the house can be a little bit confusing but he will provide you with extremely detailed instructions. He was responsive to all my queries and just generally, very helpful. Gorgeous views from this contemporary home located at the end of the residential area -- RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Quiet surroundings, sandy beaches (the kind you can build sand castles on), long rolling waves (perfect for novice board surfers, boogie boarders & experienced body surfers). The sand dunes between the home and the beach were great for Bocce Ball and birdwatching. Nature trail across the street in the marsh was an added bonus. But the deserted beach for couple of miles was the best. Morning and Evening walks on the beach from this house, are spectacular. The home is bright, clean, wall-to-wall picture windows overlooking the beach -- and plenty of "living" space -- including a fireplace, and ample kitchen. Washer and Dryer in basement is added plus. Will definitely rent again. Owner-managed, which also makes a difference.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The home was very cute and big enough for my family. It was easy to find with the instructions listed in on line even though there was road construction and got side tracked a little. The home was exactly what the photos showed on line. Most of the decorations in the home are very nice and different to what we were usually used to. The property is well maintained and reported issues were taken care of right away. We did not visit nearby restaurants becuase we brought lots of unprepared food to cook in the home so we could relax more and play with our children at the beach. Besides, I could not leave the kitchen area since I enjoyed very much the view of the beach while I cooked. We drove and shopped at the stores around Ensenada and La Bufadora. I would recommend this home to those who want to relax, swim in the ocean, or go for long walks on the beach.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway.
