This home was just lovely. Even before arriving, John and Nancy were wonderful to work with. Our group consisted of 3 couples, and the home was just perfect. Wonderful views of the vineyard and the home was kept in exceptional condition. Great location to Yountville. If you are up early enough, you will see the hot air balloons taking off and practically glide right over the house. Thank you for sharing your home!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friends and I had a wonderful "spa girls" weekend at this lovely Napa home. The house was light and airy, comfortable, well appointed, and had first-rate amenities. The setting, right on a vineyard close to Yountville, was beautiful, quiet, and private. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. I hope to come back again soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I cannot wait until I can stay here again ! The property is beautiful and comfortable. I had the opportunity to enjoy this place twice in the last 6 months- once for a girls weekend and another for a family vacation. This property is a perfect home base for sightseeing in the region but is so lovely you may just want to lounge by the pool , taking in the view. Fully loaded gourmet kitchen, comfy beds , view , pool and spa- enough said!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at this property provided an excellent introduction to the Napa Valley and it would be perfect for people familiar with the surroundings as well. The house has been thoroughly and tastefully updated inside and when we were there, new landscaping was being added to the yard and gardens. We’ve since seen photographs and heard a description of what’s been accomplished and know the outside is now as stunning as the inside. (In fact, we’re considering the location for a “destination wedding” for one of our adult children!). We sat on the patio and looked past the pool right into the vineyard, ridge of hills and lovely buildings in the distance. Along with day trips around the Valley, we drove into nearby Yountville a couple of times but we could have easily ridden bikes or walked. It was nice to know that we were close enough to “town” for shopping, meals and wine tastings, yet removed enough for a serene and peaceful visit. Even the tiny neighborhood in which the property is located is quiet and well kept. The bedrooms are far enough apart for privacy, yet the spacious “common areas,” i.e., kitchen, TV/family room, dining room/living room and patios allows plenty of space for group interaction or spots to read. Everything was immaculate and there were ample supplies in the kitchen, also a good, conveniently located laundry. It was great to be able to park in the garage and enter the house from there….Definite highlights included the spectacular view of the vineyard and valley, close proximity to a wide variety of wineries and restaurants, walking in the gardens and around the neighborhood, the amazing, huge oak dining table – and certainly the hot air balloons passing directly over the house. Finishing touches were being put on the pool so there was no swimming, but we could tell it was a perfect size for the lot. All in all, the property provides a lovely, convenient and comfortable spot for first timers to Napa. Visitors can make a vacation of staying in and around the property, or go out and about as much as they want knowing there’s sophisticated and relaxing lodging to come back to.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is a wonderful place to relax. The indoor spaces are generous and comfortable with a spectacular view of the vineyard and hills. The amenities are great and the kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to work in. The outdoor space with pool and spa backs up to a vineyard and was quiet and visually open to the vineyard, yet very private. My favorite experience was having coffee on the patio in the morning and watching the hot air balloons approach above the vineyard and pass over the house. There was easy access to the wineries, shops and restaurants. I totally recommend this rental and hope to return many more times.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This fantastic house is nested in the middle of some of the best vineyards in the world and just minutes away from Yountville, dining capital of the United States. The house is very clean has been immaculately maintained. It offers everything we needed for an awesome weekend but it can also easily accommodate large family gathering. Although the house has luxury finishes we were most impressed by the beautiful patio, very nice pool, the views of sprawling vineyards and of course the hot tub. If you are looking to experience Napa at its best, this is the way to go.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are an active professional couple, who love the energy of urban living, and know how to relax & recreate in the warmth & quiet of the country. At an age when we know what we enjoy, we have created a home in Napa with amenities that are comforting, practical & well-designed.
Why the Owner Chose Napa:
Our home in Napa has all the comforts, & is a wonderful springboard for activities, food & wineries. It is the perfect place to be surrounded by quiet & peace. When we saw the views from the backyard, we knew this was what we wanted. To enjoy this private retreat was a dream come true.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We enjoy sitting in the hot tub watching the stars while sipping wine, after a great meal in Yountville. We try new wineries every time we are there. We are a short distance away for hiking the hills & exploring Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, finding antiques in St. Helena, tasting beers in Calestoga or a night out in Napa for a concert.
Our ritual of coffee outside our bedroom on the deck waving to the balloons overhead is a great way to start the day. Staying in our bathrobes as long as possible is essential to our relaxing holiday.
