This house was wonderful. It was so much more than we expected. The bedding and mattresses were fantastic and the kitchen was so well equipped. Everything was well stocked and spotless. We had deer in the yard every night. We would definitely stay here again. Great value. Very easy location to everything in town.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

The house is actually a duplex. The neighbor is quiet but the common plumbing is controlled via a manifold under our living room and can be so loud you have to leave the room to carry on a conversation. The neighbors have a kennel of some sort and incessantly barking dogs are part of the package. The washer/dryer are behind a louvered door in the living room. VERY loud! You need to turn them on when you leave the house. The rental is well built, freshly painted and appointed with new furniture. Big garage is nice. Despite the noise issues, it is certainly a a good value. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again. We liked the area so much we are buying our own rental. The realtor/property manager missed out on a sale by not returning our phone calls.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: The town office was notified about a barking dog in the area and they gave that property owner (diagonal across the street) notice and a ticket. The town has an ordinance regarding barking dogs and it is enforced when the town is notified. The noise from the plumbing was from the underground sprinkler system and a loose pipe in the crawl space was rattling against the wall as the water meter was running. This has been secured and is no longer an issue. All phone calls if not answered are returned promptly, However on weekends I am often out of town, enjoying the river or area mountains, the things that draws people here to town in the first place. Some summer weekends I may not be available as my camper finds it's way to out of the way spots where cell phone reception is unavailable.
