What a blessing! We were fortunate enough to find your beautiful mountain home on the Internet - we could not have made a better choice! Our youngest daughter mentioned that this needs to be an annual practice. Thanks for this opportunity. The view of the mountains is spectacular! We couldn't have been more pleased.

Every year we meet for a week long visit and decided on Estes Park this year. Great choice! Waking up to snow capped mountains, riding a different route each day and returning to a large herd of elk each night made this time so special....we counted 91 one night! We definitely are coming back!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We celebrated Christmas with our daughters and their spouses in Estes....a Christmas we will remember! Rocky Mtn National Park holds many wonderful memories for us and we loved revisiting those places.

Wow...at 5:30 AM there were about 50 elk 10 feet away from the house, to driving up Trail Ridge Road for the last time this season, to experiencing snow, rain, sun and wind in five minutes at 12,500 feet...I'd say we had the true Estes experience! Thank you for the use of your beautiful home, it was warm and cozy and a great place to crash after a long day of exploring, we hope to return to Estes again very soon!

Hello, we 3 just returned a few hours ago from staying at your house for over a week. My brother, wife and daughter from New Mexico also joined us for part of that time. We felt quite at home at your lovely home. It had all the amenities we needed for a great stay. It was comfortable and nicely-decorated, especially with some of the quilted wallhangings. Our stay in Estes Park and Rocky Mtn National Park was fantastic, the views from the house are great. The snowcapped mountains and snow in the yard made us feel welcome. The views in the park in the winter are unbelievable. Your beautiful house made an excellent home base for skiing and trips to Denver and RMNP.

We certainly enjoyed out time in your wonderful house. Imagine our surprise to return home one evening to find a bull elk and his harem of 16 cows in the yard. And we heard the coyotes at night.

We arrived and fell in love with the Rocky Mountains and this house. What a perfect place for family time. When the day came to return home no one wanted to leave, thank you for providing a place for us to build wonderful memories.

Ptarmigan Trail was a terrific "home base" during our stay. The home is comfortable and spacious and has awesome views of the mountains-we are extremely pleased with our choice of accommodations!

The view was spectacular-which was very important to my husband. We watched the sunrise and the sunset many times on the patio. Our son really enjoyed playing with the Legos and other toys you had here for the children. All your extra touches (like the robes) made our stay extra special. Thanks again! We will be back!

This is our first trip to Colorado and we have thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It's a beautiful house and wonderful hospitality! Everything is top notch. (We even got to catch up on laundry) The games in the game room have been great entertainment for us.

Ptarmigan Trail is beautiful. The view is exquisite! This has been a most relaxing visit. The elk and coyote have been very entertaining and the weather was perfect for cross-country skiing in the park. Thanks so much. We'll be back!

Thank you for sharing Ptarmigan Trail with our family. The views are so spectacular. It's hard to go back home. Seeing all of the elk everywhere is exciting. On Valentine's Day, I woke up at 5 a.m. to the yipping of a bunch of coyotes. Then we went to nearby Eldora Ski Area and had a great day skiing. It is so peaceful and beautiful here. Thank you for sharing this great escape with our family.

What an exceptional home! There's forethought and planning in every detail to make it both functional and comfortable inside and out. The rooms are designed to allow privacy of quarters all easily accessible to the central living area. Bathrooms and closets too, are roomy and convenient. In addition, the light and airy environment not only brings the outside "in" but is a perfect setting to view mountains all around sitting near a cozy fire. We left with an awesome sense of tranquility and an eagerness to return here another time.

The house is lovely - immaculate, beautifully decorated and very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the views of the mountains and one morning we saw a coyote. Also heard them at night a couple of times and the elk bugling. We enjoyed sitting on the deck while my son (age 8) loved all the toys - especially the Lego and log cabin. We like the deck furniture. It's certainly hard to leave this house. Thank you for the welcome basket, a very nice surprise.
