Through April 30, 2013, guest room rates are $175 plus tax per night for the Courtship Stateroom (Queen Bed), $175 plus tax per night for the Anniversary Stateroom (Queen Bed) and $195 plus tax per night for the larger Honeymoon Suite (King Bed).

During May, 2013, on Sunday through Thursday nights, nightly rates are $175 plus tax per night for the Courtship Stateroom, $175 plus tax per night for the Anniversary Stateroom and $225 plus tax per night for the Honeymoon Suite. On Friday and Saturday nights in May, 2013 and the Memorial Day Weekend nights, add $100 plus tax per night to the May nightly room rates.

From June 1, 2013 through October 31, 2013 during the 'Peak Season', the Courtship Stateroom is $325 plus tax per night, the Anniversary Stateroom is $325 plus tax per room per night and the Honeymoon Suite is $395 plus tax per night. On Friday and Saturday nights in July and August, 2013, as well as the July 4 and Labor Day Weekend holiday nights, add $100 plus tax per night to each room rate.

The yacht is at the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina in Newport through April, 2013. From about mid-May through October, 2013, it will be docked at the Goat Island Marina.

Ocean Romance is the perfect getaway for an extraordinary vacation, honeymoon, anniversary or romantic weekend. Great also for a special celebration, reunion, friends' weekend or sightseeing trip. Come for a night, weekend, a week or a month!

Ocean Romance is an 80' custom built motor yacht. It stays at the dock and is used as a floating dockside yacht bed and breakfast hotel which sleeps up to six (6) overnight guests in three (3) private guest rooms. Each guest room has its own private bathroom, TV with built in DVD player, internet access, climate control and windows. Each guest room can accommodate up to two (2) overnight guests.

The yacht's well-furnished, comfortable main salon on the main deck has a flat screen TV, bar with two (2) refrigerators, ice maker, etc. and a day head (bathroom). A circular staircase connects the main salon the the guest rooms and bridge. Enjoy the views, sunshine and moonlight from the cushioned bridge and bow of the yacht, both perfect spots to relax and watch the sunrise or sunset over the ocean.

A continental breakfast is available each morning in the main salon.

Ocean Romance LLC Information/Policies:

Guest Reservations:
Guest reservations will be officially confirmed by email only upon receipt of advance payment in full.

Children:
We happily accommodate well-behaved, supervised children twelve (12) years of age and older.

Payment:
Ocean Romance will accept payment by cash, bank cashier's check, personal check, debit card or credit card. Payment by credit card is required from international guests.

Check In/Check Out Times:
Guest check in time is no earlier than 4 p.m. on the day on which the confirmed reservation commences, with check out time no later than 11 a.m. on the day that the confirmed reservation ends. Guests arriving late need not worry-your guest room will be available for you until your scheduled checkout day/time. We do not charge guests a cleaning fee but guests are responsible for any damage that they cause to the yacht or to the yacht’s furnishings.


Parking:

During the peak season, free parking is available at Goat Island Marina in the non-reserved spaces on a first come-first serve basis during May through October, 2013. During the Off Season November through April, parking at the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina parking lot and public garage one (1) block away is usually $10 per night per vehicle, subject to availability. There is also limited free street parking.

Occupancy:
No more than two (2) registered overnight guests can occupy any one (1) guest room on Ocean Romance. Sleeping quarters are equipped with combination carbon monoxide, fire and smoke alarms.

Food And Beverages:
A continental breakfast will be available in the main salon of Ocean Romance each morning. You are welcome to enjoy your breakfast up on the flybridge, bow or cockpit, weather permitting. Please help yourself to beverages and snacks set out in the main salon or in the refrigerators behind the bar.

Common Areas:
In addition to their own respective guest room/bathroom, registered guests shall have access/use of the yacht's common areas such as the main deck's large salon, bar, day head, aft (stern) balcony and forward exterior main deck (bow) of the yacht, plus the top level bridge seating areas accessible via the circular stairs. However, the lower helm, forward lower salon, galley and forward staterooms are the owner’s (and crew’s) private quarters which are off limits to all guests.

Swim Suits/Suntan Lotion:
Guests may not sit on the interior furniture of the yacht in wet swimsuits or while wearing suntan lotion as it will damage the furnishings.

Use of Bathrooms:
With the exception of the marine grade toilet tissue supplied, YOU MUST NOT put any objects in the yacht’s toilets. The sewage disposal system in the yacht will not properly dispose of anything other than marine grade toilet tissue. Feminine products and Kleenex tissues CANNOT be put in the toilets on the yacht. Please use the trash receptacles in the bathrooms provided for these and other items.

Shoes:
Dark-soled shoes leave black marks on the yacht's white fiberglass decks which are hard to remove so please try to wear light colored sole shoes when on the outside decks.

Valuables:
Guests are solely responsible for their own valuables and safekeeping of their property. Ocean Romance is not responsible for loss of any property of any person aboard. Please lock your guest room to secure your valuables.

Liability:
Guests must be aware that a yacht on the water is inherently dangerous and safety precautions should constantly be observed. Surfaces are slippery when wet, especially the circular stairs leading up to the bridge from the main salon. Non-slip shoes must be worn at all times on the circular stairs and decks. Particular care should be exercised when boarding and leaving the vessel, and when using the exterior areas of Ocean Romance. Children aboard must be supervised at all times by an adult or parent. Ocean Romance is not responsible for any injury suffered by any guest or other person on the Ocean Romance. Guests may not use the tender boat except in an emergency.

Quiet Zone Hours:
The marina is a quiet zone between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Alcoholic Beverages:
Guests of legal drinking age may bring their own alcoholic beverages with them onto the yacht. The Ocean Romance requests that guests do not bring red wine aboard the yacht.

Cancellations:
Cancellations must be received by email by Ocean Romance at least thirty (30) days before the arrival date in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations less than thirty (30) days before the arrival date shall be limited to a fifty percent (50%) refund from Ocean Romance. The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the guest payment shall be forfeited to Ocean Romance unless Ocean Romance is able to rent the same guest room to others for the same time period in which case an additional forty percent (40%) shall be refunded to the prepaying guest with ten percent (10%) retained by Ocean Romance for an administrative fee. Guests who depart for any reason prior to their scheduled departure day/time shall not be entitled to a refund from Ocean Romance.

Taxes:
In addition to the guest room rates, there is an additional charge to guests of six percent (6%) for City of Newport hotel tax and a seven percent (7%) sales tax payable to the State of Rhode Island.

Quiet Time Aboard:
Out of respect for other Ocean Romance guests who might be asleep, we request that if you enter the yacht after 11:00 p.m. or leave before 8:00 a.m., you do so quietly. If you listen to the radio or watch television during the quiet time hours, whether in your stateroom or in the main salon, please keep the volume low.

No Loud Parties:
Loud parties on the yacht are prohibited. Registered guests may not bring unregistered guests onboard without advance permission of Ocean Romance.

No Pets:
Sorry, we do not allow pets on the yacht.

No Smoking:
Ocean Romance is in a no smoking zone. Smoking is prohibited on the yacht.

Assistance:
We will be happy to answer any questions or offer assistance between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Policy Changes:
Ocean Romance reserves the right to change its policies and rules at any time at its sole discretion.

Room Service / Maid Service:
There is no room service or maid service available on the yacht.
