  We loved this place. We only stayed for the weekend but by Sunday we were ready to move in. It's cozy but has everything you need. The kitchen is small but well appointed, and includes spices for cooking. The flat screen is a nice bonus and the couch was super comfy! But the best part of this place, besides the beautifully peaceful view, is the bed. Huge and incredibly comfortable! We love coming to Saugatuck in the winter and we'll definitely be staying here again. Marta is a wonderful host!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  The property description and photos accurately describe and depict this intimate getaway. And the "welcome" basket was an especially nice touch. Marta was especially accomodating to my last minute request for her rental property going out of her way to negotiating an earlier check out time with the renters from the night before so we could check in earlier. She also kept the lines of communication open responding promptly with an email or follow up phone call to make sure everything was in order for our last minute getaway to Saugatuck. The unit was quaint and conveniently located directly across from the water and within walking distance to all of downtown. Our car remained safely parked in the driveway for our stay. Pet's are welcome which allowed us to bring our dog along and there are ample areas across the street to walk with or without your dog. Hercules ranks #1 as a romantic place to dine. In the fall, request a table near the fireplace overlooking the patio. We also ate across the street at Butler's which had reasonably priced good food, a relaxed atmosphere with a wonderful view. For breakfast and/or lunch we recommend Perriwinkle's. The only thing we did not have an opportunity to do was the "Star of Saugatuck" as the last cruise for the season was Sunday afternoon and we were unaware at the time. Oh well, a reason to go back! Thanks Again.

  Marta, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your bayfront queen. The location is fantastic - water view, right in town, parking space! We enjoyed the welcome basket - thank you! We also liked your suggestions for dining: Every Day People Cafe, Hercules, The Belvedere Inn, The elbow Room. We are from Chicago and have many great choices for dining. We welcome the chance to go back to these restaurants again and again. We spent a lot of time hiking in the areas you pointed out - Saugatuck Dunes, Mt. Baldy, etc. We also took a trip to the wine country. Lunch at Tabor Hill was quite nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the fall colors. Its a beautiful time of year to be in MI, The queen unit is very comfortable and we found that you had thought everything through that we needed for our stay. We liked sitting and watching our new favorite show - Homeland. Its great that you have so many channels as we do not get Showtime at home; however, my husband is adding it to our cable package! We had breakfast and happy hour at the queen. Your kitchen is well stocked and we even used the dishwasher to make clean up easy. The closet space was great - I didn't realize that I brought so many clothes. Slept really well in the bed - very comfortable. The shower pressure was also very good. Thank you for taking time to show us the King unit next door. We travel with another couple at times and we think both would be suit our needs quite well. The King is swanky - I love the custom couch you have. The bathroom is really beautiful. We did enjoy sitting out on the porch and enjoying a glass of wine. I hope you will enjoy the bottles of California wine that we left you as a thank you of our appreciation. They are two of our favorites. We look forward to a return visit very soon. Thank you.

  I visited this property with my husband and puppy for a relaxing few days. We were amazed at the great location and the parking space was really helpful. Marta went out of her way to be very welcoming to us and see that we were comfortable. We were right across the street from the water, minutes from the dunes, and loved grabbing take out to eat on the porch. We will be recommending to our friends! Thanks Marta.

  Clean and Comfortable. Every effort was made to supply visitors with the comforts of home. Easy access to shopping, dining, and art galleries. Activities were listed in a very helpful binder, along with tips and suggestions on how to make the most of your stay. I really enjoyed the small deck area with container flowers and a small fountain, creating a very peaceful atmosphere to enjoy my morning coffee or evening sunset with a glass of wine. Marta, the owner, was just a phone call away, and very willing to help in any way.

  This one-bedroom condo was perfect for our stay in Saugatuck in June! It has the most beautiful setting, with huge front windows and porch overlooking the park and harbor-at any time of the day or evening, we were enjoying the view of the water and surrounding scenery. The compact condo fronts on a street and sidewalk, and the level of quiet activity and passers-by was at just the right pace for our liking. The kitchen is fully equipped (even a French coffee press!), including every condiment, oil, herbs, and cooking supplies you may need. The bedroom is furnished in muted tones, with fresh and attractive linens and bedcover, and the bed was plush and utterly comfortable. The storage space in the large walk-in closet was more than enough, with lots of hangers, along with beach towels and extra blankets. The modern bathroom has a very roomy walk-in shower, with excellent water pressure. The living room and kitchen are in an open "great room," which is great for conviviality (though the small sofa does not really accommodate serious lounging). We walked to everything in town--- it was absolutely fabulous to be so close to shops and restaurants, or a neighborhood and harbor walk. The owner Marta was a pleasure to work with and she took care of our every need--- she welcomes all of her guests with a wonderful gift basket, which we certainly enjoyed. This condo is a gem! We will return to this lovely get-away as soon as we can!

  We stayed during the 4th of July week. The apartment was very cozy and well stocked with essentials. The fireworks display on July 4th was amazing. The best part is that we had the perfect view right from the front porch. Marta is very friendly and will quickly respond to any questions or concerns. The towns of Saugatuck and Douglas have great shops and restaurants. The Elbo Room (harbor views) and Ida Red's serve great breakfasts. Hercules has delicious food and a pleasant garden setting. If you are up for a drive, try Salt of the Earth in Fennville. All the food there is local and they have live music on Tuesday. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

  We could not have picked a better spot for a long weekend get away in Saugatuck. This well-maintained apartment is tastefully decorated and has comfortable furnishings. The atmosphere is sunny and bright with large windows throughout---and blinds on all to limit light/sun as needed. The owner is very welcoming in correspondences and in amenities provided. The unit has a lovely porch in the front with a soothing fountain nearby. Guests have the serenity of a park and marina immediately across the street---and the convenience of shops and restaurants literally around the corner. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch as well as an evening glass of wine while privately listening to the live band that plays at an establishment by the river....what a pleasure! We would definitely stay here again when we return to Saugatuck.
